We loved every part of it, except there’s a bit of a smell. Not sure if it’s from standing water or from the RVs cleaning out their sewage. Don’t think it’s the fault of the KOA staff, just. a weird way to wake up every morning lol. Other than that loved it!

We stayed in a camping cabin for night 1 and tent camped for night 2 right at site 7 closest to the dock. I camped with my 2 children ages 8 and 11. There was plenty for them to do and the staff is so friendly. Definitely bring your fishing poles! We wished we had time to stay longer. I was very impressed with the showers and cleanliness of the entire campground as well. We cannot wait to go back.

Great camp grounds! It was quiet and the restrooms and showers were really clean. Lots of activities for children and adults. Absolutely beautiful scenery on the water!

We had a great time. The ladies at the store were very accommodating and when I called for a delivery for ice or wood it was delivered very quickly. Trash was picked up fast. The pool was clean and very well maintained. Bathhouse was clean. The area was nice and weak keep. The kids loved the ride around the camp and soap machine. Over all had a wonderful time and plan coming again soon.

You really need to plant trees for the actual tent area. It is brutal in the blazing sun (perhpas move the tent areas to RV's section/vice versa)! Also, the firepits need to be in a central location- you can't all sit around the fire because it is on the corner of where the table is located. That doesn't make any sense. Otherwise, pier was great and kayaking was fantastic!!

Over all the stay was great! Saturday night was a little rough. People were walking back from the water at 12:07 in the morning. We were in a tent and obviously can hear everything and people were talking loudly as they walked by. Maybe just remind people in the rules to be mindful. And kids and adults flying by one bikes and scooters over 5mph. But over all staff was great. The KOA is gorgeous.

I was impressed by the cleanliness, privacy and access to shower and toilet areas. The tent site was level and without rocks or roots. The pool was clean and refreshing. Price is really too close to a good low end motel which might include loyalty, free breakfast and amenities.

It's a lovely park but I was only able to stay for a few nights in the Tent Site area down by the pier on the Neuse River. Clean bathrooms/showers open 24 hrs/day. Really beautiful sunsets. I was there for the MCAS Air Show which was conveniently less than 1/2 hour away. Seems there is much to do/see in the New Bern area itself so when I return to further explore I'll book another stay here.

Enjoyed the stay! I did a tent camp-out and enjoyed all of amenities including water, power, picnic table under cover, nice grassy area to pitch my tent and a hot shower. Beautifully located on the water front. I highly recommend it.

Been camping with koa awhile now. First time at new bern, nc site and always no disappointment here. My kids enjoys it. Peaceful, clean, friendly, great stay.

The only negative was the constant sound of trains at night. We did not sleep well because of the train horns. I wish the location was a little more remote from the main highway and train tracks. Otherwise, it was a wonderful stay. The playground and bathrooms are well kept. We appreciated the convenience of the camp store and the kindness of the staff there. It was a great stay!

Pizza really good, very digestible dough, which is rare even in Italy. Fast service and very kind staff. If you are in Miami, in the Coconut Grove area and fancy pizza, feel free to try it.

It is in the corners of a building and out of sight that you will have the chance to discover a small pizzeria with a warm and family Mood. Sober decoration, well thought out and varied menu with basic pizzas to more elaborate pizzas in a really reasonable price range. The products are very qualitative nothing to complain about and special mention for homemade chilli oil (also available for sale for $16) which was simply a delight without forgetting Italian beer. No booking possible but several services without worries, 6:30 pm seems to be the right time to find more space without having to wait having tried twice this slot. In conclusion a dynamic, smiling and efficient team with clean toilets. I recommend you with pleasure this address that deserves to stop there. 🥳❤️🌿

Delicious! Great service and super tasty! The Caprese was fresh and the wine was really good. We enjoyed it! We were boring and got the meat pizza, our friends got a star special that was yum. Try the spicy balsamic for sure!
