The cabin was welcoming, cozy, comfortable, and CLEAN. It had everything I needed and/or wanted for an overnight stay from Maine to the Crystal Coast! My only caveat is that because the tv is mounted where it is, it is awkward to navigate around it and I almost bumped into it several times. Of all the places I have stayed, your place will remain a favorite! Thank you.

This campsite was very nice. The cabin was very well organized and maintained. I like that it’s located on the river, so you can fish if you’d like to. It was stocked with all the necessary supplies to enjoy a comfortable. stay. The staff could not have been nicer! I would recommend this KOA.

The cabin was so clean and comfortable. Loved the water pressure. The cabin had everything we needed. Love how the staff deliver the firewood. Staff were all friendly. We had a lot of fun.

I enjoyed our stay. The cabin was clean, and the location was perfect. The only thing I would say about the campground is that many sites seem close together. I have been to other KOAs, and they were more spread out. That is the only reason for the 4-star.

Always clean and staff is always friendly and helpful. My grandson lost a toy and when I asked a staff member to “keep an eye out” he later found it and brought it over to our cabin! Had a small issue in my cabin and they sent someone over immediately to check it out. And I like that they deliver the campfire wood to your fire pit for you! I would recommend this campground to anyone!

Our kids love this campground. We stay in the cabins which are close to the playground, jumping pillow and pool - all which they love! This is our second trip here and we plan to make another trip during the summer for more activities and the pool!

I enjoyed the rustic cabin. It was a really cold night and I had no problem in the cabin. The bathrooms were a bit chilly - not bad for use, a problem for showering!

Relatively quite even at night. The bathrooms were amazing with privacy, cleanliness, water pressure and heat. More than enough as well around the grounds. Staff was very kind and welcoming. Very easy to get into downtown New Bern.

Our stay was okay. We think this KOA should be classified as a "Journey" KOA because it is right on a 4 lane highway and a train track. The train horn was very loud during the times it ran It sounded like it was right in our backyard, nights were bad from 5pm-12am. The KOA might be off a major highway but you would not know it by the noise. The campground was very nice and the staff was very nice.

We've been staying at New Bern KOA for 3 yrs, only camped at one other place. New Bern KOA has become very unorganized. We ordered firework, "that they are so happy to bring you." It was charged and delivered to the cabin beside us. Thank God it was my son or we may not have gotten our wood. He said it was okay since we were camping together but I wanted to get the charge straight. Bingo wait 30

Amazing experience! I was pleasantly surprised by how clean and well-kept everything was. My cabin had fresh linens, plenty of amenities, and I absolutely loved the holiday decor throughout the campground. I’ll definitely be coming back!

Always something to do at NewbBern KOA. This is a very efficiently run operation, clean and professional. Beautiful sunsets and all kept ground. I strongly endorse this campground to all. Prices are a little steep and would like them to be more in line with affordability.

We love the New Bern KOA. This is not our first stay here. It is a beautiful and well kept campground. This was our first stay in a cabin and I was disappointed that we rented a cabin with a full bath for the bathtub which had no plug and the hot water wasn’t working properly, also the AC quit working the first night saying the filter needed cleaned. Check-in and check-out were easy and the persons behind the counter were very pleasant. Our little cabin was clean and had good use of the space. The bathrooms were the same / clean and efficient use of space. Only “negative” is that the sites are so close together.

We have camped here in our camper before and we stayed in a deluxe cabin this time. This is one of my favorite campgrounds because everything is perfect and clean. It also helps that it is on the Nuese River and the scenery is beautiful. They have lots of activities for the kids and some for us adults too. I look forward to coming back again.

We had reserved a tent site for the weekend and the predicted weather turned to flooding in the area. They reached out to me and asked if I would like to cancel or be moved to another location, possibly a cabin. In the end, we had a cabin and our weekend turned out great. Very accommodating and nice - saved our trip from Maryland. I will definitely stay here again.

My sister ended up going to the Urgent Care due a to Bed Bug infestation in our cabin. We did not realize the bed bugs were in our sheets until we turned off the lights. I Called the office but they closed at 5pm. Left message about our experience a drove 3.5 hours to get home. My “competition” was not being charged for my night and refund on our next stay. Manager would not offer a free stay.

Campground, kindness of staff, building and amenities are perfect. Extreme male cat spraying porch of cabin smelled terrible, especially offensive for extremely high cost of cabin. Over 600 for 2 nights and I had to make own beds. Hardly any food options at camp store. But renovations and pool since hurricane flood were impressive.Fish jumping in neuse river were fun to see from dock.

First time stay at a KOA. I have camped before husband has not. Because of this experience he is ready to camp more. The staff was so friendly. I was impressed yesterday we were packing to leave the dog pooped. Well I picked it up started walking to the poop can a staff member on a golf cart stopped me and said I will take that for you. Very clean and well taken care off.

Not enough cam be said about this KOA. The staff is amazing. The sites are clean and extremely well kept. The pool is ALWAYS clean. The store is very welcoming and the staff....they are the friendliest and welcoming as best as you can expect.

Very nice campground and quiet; nice swimming pool and excellent view of the Neuse River; stocked fishing ponds; excellent wifi; very friendly and helpful staff; very close to New Bern for downtown shopping. We will be back.
