New Bern is wonderful and the KOA there is in an ideal location about 5 miles from downtown right on the Neuse River. It’s a medium sized KOA run by friendly people. The dog parks are great. I highly recommend this KOA and will likely return.

We'll be back. Had a great time. Enjoyed the view, the hospitality and the cleanliness. Loved the space with the coach swing, the outdoor light at the very clean outdoor grill and the fire pit. Our pups loved it too. Thank you.

Rates are expensive but the campground is excellent with the service and amenities they provide. It's always well maintained and the service is friendly and professional.

my husband and I stayed for a few months and the people are great, friendly staff, and they keep up on everything! the staff is wonderful, thank you for everything. especially dog treats from Charlie �

It was a great place to stay. Just one suggestion would be to have large bug zapper to get rid of the mosquitoes in the area. Other than that it made great base for the day trips we took. One day to Greenville and one day to Washington. Spent one day in New Bern visiting a place I have been to but not actually walked around. Lovely views of the river and the sun rise and sun set. Would stay again.

Have stayed at this campground on many occasions over the past four years when I have had business in the area. The staff is always friendly and helpful and the property is very well maintained.

This was our third stay here and we will be back again. It’s not only because entire staff is so friendly and helpful, but it’s a beautiful setting with activities for all ages. And if you want to just sit by the waterfront, you can do that.

Campground was beautiful as usual. Sites clean. Facilities always spotless. We’ve been coming to the campground for over 15 years. It’s our fav along with historical New Bern. Our Happy Place!

We stayed in a camping cabin for night 1 and tent camped for night 2 right at site 7 closest to the dock. I camped with my 2 children ages 8 and 11. There was plenty for them to do and the staff is so friendly. Definitely bring your fishing poles! We wished we had time to stay longer. I was very impressed with the showers and cleanliness of the entire campground as well. We cannot wait to go back.

Normally state Park campers, we have stayed in all 48 states. This was our first KOA experience, and it did not disappoint. The staff was outstanding and could not have been friendlier or more helpful. Everything on the property was well kept, immaculately cleaned, and they go all out for seasonal decorations! You will love staying here

Had to stay extra time because of the Nor Easter that came thru. Went above and beyond to accommodate us. Park is lovely. People are great. Will stay again.

Level clean sites, great WiFi. We were traveling with friends and they put us in a special site together! We made our travel reservations 6 months ago and they are the first ones to do that! The Charleston SC KoA had us 3 rows away from each other! Thank you New Bern! Great stay!

Friendly staff. Made late check in easy and very helpful at check out also. We were only there for a very short one night stop over, but the location looks like it would be a great choice for an extended stay. Thanks!

The campground and amenities are amazing and very well kept. We stayed in a camping cabin and absolutely loved the beautiful pond view and being close to all the fun things for the kids. We can’t wait to be back!

My stay at New Bern KOA was PERFECT. Jackie and her team were more than accommodating. Any need I had was taken care of immediately. The sites and shower facilities were VERY clean and maintained constantly. I will be staying at this campground every time when I am in the area. My Highest marks to this KOA and staff. Pizza really good, very digestible dough, which is rare even in Italy. Fast service and very kind staff. If you are in Miami, in the Coconut Grove area and fancy pizza, feel free to try it.

It is in the corners of a building and out of sight that you will have the chance to discover a small pizzeria with a warm and family Mood. Sober decoration, well thought out and varied menu with basic pizzas to more elaborate pizzas in a really reasonable price range. The products are very qualitative nothing to complain about and special mention for homemade chilli oil (also available for sale for $16) which was simply a delight without forgetting Italian beer. No booking possible but several services without worries, 6:30 pm seems to be the right time to find more space without having to wait having tried twice this slot. In conclusion a dynamic, smiling and efficient team with clean toilets. I recommend you with pleasure this address that deserves to stop there. 🥳❤️🌿

Delicious! Great service and super tasty! The Caprese was fresh and the wine was really good. We enjoyed it! We were boring and got the meat pizza, our friends got a star special that was yum. Try the spicy balsamic for sure!
