Outstanding campground!!! Very well maintained, bathrooms are clean , office staff and maintenance staff exceptional!! This is a top notch campground, the best KOA we’ve been to yet! We stayed a week and wanted to stay longer but we couldn’t so we’ll have to come back.

Everyone was friendly and helpful, from staff to fellow campers. The views of the river were beautiful as were the ponds. Fishing was great! My little dogs enjoyed the dog park and daily walks as well. Thank you for a fantastic camping experience!

Extremely clean property and facilities, friendly and helpful staff who worked constantly around the property to keep it that way. We’ve visited anew Bern Koa three times now over a 15 year period and have never been disappointed. Bravo!

Staying at N.E. Bern KOA Holiday would have been a great experience if we had not been anticipating a campsite on the beach. We made due with what was available. The New Bern KOA Holiday personnel were very helpful and friendly. The campsites and activities were very enjoyable.

This is our fifth visit, and we just love it here! Our grandchildren always have such a great time. My husband had a small suggestion—maybe consider changing out the sleeper sofa mattress? Overall, it's been a fantastic getaway!

Me and my kids stayed for a second time. We love it there. The facilities are so clean and there is plenty to do. The staff is friendly and very helpful. We will be back soon.

Rented a campsite for the day for the events and the pool during the day. I am planning on bringing the extended family next month for a birthday and renting several cabins for the weekend. The staff were absolutely wonderful!! They were pleasant to talk to, eager to help and very helpful. They defiantly made to stay even better!

Kudos to the owners of this beautiful campground. The number of staff you have is impressive. They were always busy but had time to speak and be friendly. We stayed in a premium site & enjoyed the table & chairs, glider & concrete pad. Our site was level and offered afternoon shade. Our grandsons loved the river and pond areas for fishing, the playground & pool. Keep up the good work!!

Although it was during the terrible heatwave, we still had a nice visit. The site was great, the campground was clean and nice to walk around; the river was amazing, and the staff is wonderful. Thanks!

Our favorite and most visited KOA. Each time we visit we see all the new improvements that have been made. This time was the salt water pool. The staff is super friendly and helpful. The guys maintaining the sites and ground were friendly, outstanding and speedy.

Amazing experience from checking in to checking out. Place was so much fun, a 4 year old and a 6 year old actually enjoyed it in a 94 degree day! If that doesn’t tell you everything then I don’t know what will.

Beautiful, well maintained campground. You love your campground and come every year from Pennsylvania. Your worker T.J. Was a pleasure to meet and a very hard worker. He is very people oriented and likes to do a good job. Thank you all for a great trip.

The campground is nice, sitting on the Neuse River. The facilities were nice including a nice pool area. We stayed 2 nights during the week. The campground was probably 50% full. The site they had us stay was probably on of the least desirable sites, when there were so many nicer sites available. That's not a way to attract people to come back to stay. I should have requested to move.

There is a reason this campground was voted "The Best" in 2019. Not a large campground, but in a great location on the water, with spacious campsites. The staff met us at the entrance and escorted us to our site without waiting. Camp is clean and well-tended, with staff consistently working the grounds. Great pool, amenities, and activities hosted by the park. One of our new favorites!

Staff is very friendly and helpful. The campground/bathhouses are always clean. Bingo was fun Friday night; loved the duck races on Saturday. Little disappointed because it was advertised as a Luau weekend, but we didn't see much Luau theme. Food trucks were advertised, but the only truck we saw was a snowball truck which obviously was a good truck for the hot weekend. Definitely will be back!

Very nice campground. We Recently sold our Class C, so we stayed in the deluxe cabins. Cabins were great!! I was surprised to see that there was not a restroom in the pool area. This only promotes kids to pee in the pool. They were having issues with the pool chemicals two days that we were there.....I would assume it was all the children that used the pool those days.

Camp Site was a little too small for us (very narrow). The pool was not opened on time however I believe his was due to not having a bathroom in pool area with young children swimming a lot. Not many people departed the pool all day.

The employees are professional and accommodating. The bathhouses are well kept- clean and spacious. Our campsite was also well maintained and clean of debris.

Very relaxing for my "Beautiful 55th Birthday " getaway. Very friendly and approachable staff and fellow campers and community. I will definitely visit again. A special thanks to maintenance friend "Joe" for his added week of friendship for me and my husband. We had a great week.

Always enjoy our stay there when traveling from Myrtle Beach to Chesapeake. Only thing I would change is the fact none of the cabins are handicap accessible.

We come to this KOA at least once a year, because it's close to Raleigh and we love visiting New Bern. The facilities are always clean and well-maintained.

It was the first time me and my three grandkids stayed in one of the beautiful cabins, it was very clean and cozy. Even though it poured the whole time we were there, it gave us time to bond and connect. We only stayed for one night and we will be doing this again soon. We had an amazing time together. The staff was amazing and I was very happy with everything.

Not enough cam be said about this KOA. The staff is amazing. The sites are clean and extremely well kept. The pool is ALWAYS clean. The store is very welcoming and the staff....they are the friendliest and welcoming as best as you can expect.

Very nice campground and quiet; nice swimming pool and excellent view of the Neuse River; stocked fishing ponds; excellent wifi; very friendly and helpful staff; very close to New Bern for downtown shopping. We will be back.
