Four Family Fun Activities in Nashville this Fall

With Fall Break rapidly approaching, make sure to plan out some fun activities for the family while you’re in Nashville! 1. Adventure Science Center – This fall the Adventure Science Center will be offering their Car Culture Exhibit, they are collaborating with the National Corvette Museum to showcase corvettes ranging from 1954 to 2019! The center will show both the vehicles and the analytical STEM engineering designs behind the vehicles to promote speed, friction, and impact. They are also offering their Galactic Gardens Exhibit which uses their Cornerstone Financial Credit Union Amphitheater to explore nature, their Rain Garden to promote preserving the clean rainwater and preventing local flooding, the Galactic Gardens Murals designed by local muralists, and the phases of Moon Engraving which emphasizes how the Earth-Sun-Moon systems operate with one another. Overall, both exhibits have a lot to offer for children to learn and enjoy, so don’t miss out! 

2. Lucky Ladd Farms – This Fall the Lucky Ladd Farms has fun to offer for everyone. They will have their petting zoo, pony rides, Ag-venture farm park activities, cedar glade trails, and their corn maze as fun for all ages. Their farm will also have the pumpkin patch open, fresh vegetables at the farm stand, a sunflower experience for all ages, and their strawberry patch. 3. Andrew Jackson’s Hermitage – With spooky season nigh, are you ready to face your fears? This fall the Hermitage will be offering their very own Ghost Tours! At dusk, you will set out to explore the mansions, grounds, and cemetery by lantern light. Your guides will tell you stories of people from long ago, and strange encounters with the ghosts from the Battle of New Orleans. You will learn of Jackson’s happenstance with the Tennessee’s Bell Witch, and you may even see President Jackson himself!

4. Nashville Zoo at Grassmere – This October the Nashville Zoo will be offering their “Boo at the Zoo”! With lots of magically lit scenes, scenic pumpkin patches, giant hayrides, Gourdon the talking pumpkin, a Monster Mash dance area, and a scary-go-round carousal this fall promises to be extra magical and spooky! There will be trick or treat stations all over the zoo and a glow in the dark souvenir cups for children! The main event through the evening will be the nightly special animal shows, so make sure to book your tickets now and have a spooky time!
