Nice and quite KOA in a very nice pond/lake. Kayaks for rent are awesome and you feel like summer vacation. Only main issue Is the proximity to the highway, but it is not a busy highway at night when you are trying to sleep.

Great experience! Friendly staff, continuously doing maintenance and updates to the campground. Very peaceful stay, beautiful lake. Will totally stay again!

We have stayed here 3 times this summer. Clean. Staff is friendly. Easy access to bike trails, beaches and parks. Easy to get to. easy in and out.

The property is beautiful and well-maintained. The sites are spacious with amenities well placed. We loved the option to rent kayaks and paddleboards. The lake is perfect. We loved watching other families fishing from the dock and swimming in the lake. It was a perfect weekend.

Stayed three nights and enjoyed a water view. Park was clean, and owner was attentive. Great fire pit rings with built in BBQ grates. There was also a nice wide walking trail around the small lake. Would definitely stay again.

Very nice campground, quiet during the week, a Great Lake with a walking path around the lake. The only complaint is the noise from the interstate but I will come back.

Great place with caring staff. The lake is great for swimming, fishing, canoeing, and is beautiful at night. The location is perfect for us so we will keep coming back often.

The freeway is very loud at night. The owner and store operators were less than enthusiastic about all interactions. I understand COVID has stressed everyone, but they made this stay unpleasant with their interactions. No restroom use allowed whatsoever. The main owner (male) informed my husband that women were disgusting creatures. Highly unlikely we will be back.

given a site with trees to close to motor home could not extend slides, had to back up to get away from the trees. the back of coach is at the start of site near road for noise from people driving in. asked the person at desk if she could switch sites for us to no luck. they had sites with no trees that would have worked better for us.

Grounds were not as expected. Beach and sand unkept. “Private lake” here is really a fishing hole. We Wanting swimming, not fishing. Kids play things are not updated - old and dirty. All needs a little TLC. Plus, sites are right off the expressway- sounds of semis roaring past in not pleasant while camping.

We enjoyed relaxing on the beach while the kids where bouncing and playing on the play ground. The sites are very well kept and people where friendly.

Campground and facilities were beautiful and looked great but the customer service needs some improvement. Really didn’t feel as welcome or as appreciated as we have at most other KOA’s that we have stayed at. That was really the only major complaint and the reason for the three star rating.

We had a nice time. Our first camp site wasn’t the best because it was next to the parking lot. But they moved us when a better site became available. We would recommend this camp ground.

Campground itself was not bad but sites are really close together. Fire ring is on top of neighbor. Manager of park was unpleasant in person and over the phone. Several of the facilities were unavailable once we arrived without notice online, on phone or any notification on doors of those facilities. For $55 a night definitely not the ideal place to stay.

Large trees giving nice shade Especially during the days it was in the 90’s. Small well maintained campground. Has a man- made lake with a small area of sandy beach. Nice area to swim on the hot days. Enjoyed walking my dog along the wooded paths. Nice owner.

We enjoyed this KOA. The lake and walking trails are great, also nice for riding bikes. I had read some reviews about the water being smelly, but we did not notice any smell at all. We will book again!

Very peaceful and pleasant Most of the staff was friendly and the sites were spacious and very clean. The prices to rent the equipment such as paddle boats, bikes for kids and kayaks were extremely reasonable. We will return.

This is our family’s favorite campground. So many activities for the kids to do, it’s great! Owners work to bring in our create special family friendly events on the weekends too. Special considerations for Covid were not out of line. Every year we’ve witnessed improvements to the campground. Reinvestment into their property is evident and appreciated!

While the lake was clean and the kids had fun, the bathrooms were beyond disgusting. In a time that they should be cleaned more, they often appeared to have not been touched at all. Toilets were often unusable and we chose to only shower once during our stay because of how gross the shower stalls were. Hair in the bottom and the curtains looked like they were stained with mildew.

Men’s bathrooms were horrible. Two of the toilets were left clogged and unclean all week. One of the two shelters was also out of order. The old man that ran the place told us we were forbidden. To use the bathrooms because we had a camper. We had an issue with our camper toilet, so we didn’t have a choice. He also called my son and his friend “the little germ boys” every time he saw them

We stayed at KOA before maybe 3 years ago......was very nice....this time our experience was a little different.....park needs serious maintenance and upkeep if you want people to come back and the manager or whoever Steve is needs to be replaced ASAP

Beautiful setting. Good amenities. Unfortunately the music on Fr. night & the drinking man “sorta-sorta not” doing karaoke was so loud we couldn’t have a convo. We were having a nice time. I hate to say it, but it was kind of rude the way he addressed me like I must be a military dependent bc I’m a female, when the lady asked for my military id and he said “you need to be in the military

I'm so impressed with the management here. They checked daily to make sure everyone had a parking pass and allowed one vehicle per site which really helped keep traffic down with kids playing. The extra parking for the extra vehicle wasn't far from the camping sites. Everyone here was very nice and they kept everyone following the rules so everyone was able to have a nice time. We will definitely be back.
