Even before I arrived, the person on the phone was condescending about my site choice. I didn't get a full service site and was asked, "Have you heard of Covid 19?" I explained I was a nurse and knew plenty. In the general store, he asked my son to lock his fingers together "due to Covid 19" while he didn't wear a mask the entire time I was there. Yelled at my girlfriend for using her phone.

We enjoyed our 2 night stay at Muskegon KOA. Everything was as expected. It was nice to have a level trail to walk around the lake. We would stay here again.

We reserved a back in site and were told on arrival By a cranky older gentleman they had a very nice drive through for us. WiFi was out and was told to use our hot spot. Water was brown. One leg on electric hook up kept tripping. Left 2 days early to another camp ground to salvage vacation. They were nice enough to refund money for nights we did not stay without asking.

Nice park, level spots, beautiful lake! We enjoyed our stay but did not use amenities and wifi connected with no internet service the two days we were there. Also the road leading to the parks needs to be graded and has some nasty pot holes and washboard spots. The tree at our site needed pruning and we cut it back with our small pruners but did not have a larger tool with us to finish

We were SO disappointed. The freeway traffic noise is constant loud and to make matters worse, mgmt does NOT enforce quiet hours at all. We had a huge (multiple sites in a row) family across the street from our full hook up site that played LOUD music until at least 1 AM every night (3) they were there. Their teenage kids carried on being teenagers in the road loud every night.

To strict not welcoming, I will continue staying at the state parks, lake not swim able , you pay another twenty five dollars per per per site if you people left your site and another came even if you had four people on the site at all times I thought that place was money hungry

The campground is a good overnight spot but a little too close to the highway for a long stay. Quite a bit of road noise. The campground personnel are very friendly and most helpful! The campsites are a nice size and all utilities worked well.

The owner (Steve) was extremely rude to my family, and several others staying there. He micromanaged the campground making us feel as if he were constantly watching. He yelled at a child who accidentally broke a rule on the jump pillow rather than speak professionally. He demanded that I wear a mask in his store, as he stood maskless with others present, which confused me as I saw him without his

The staff were friendly. The site was mostly dirt and sand and when it rained it made a terrible mess. We tracked mud and sand into the RV no matter how many times we wiped our feet. The sites need to be paved or at the very least have gravel put down. It made the stay very unpleasant.

We love KOA.....nice and woodsy and quiet we truly enjoy the lakefront sites and the fishing wish the grounds were kept up a little better and that the beach area was cleaner and taken care of....would make a world of difference. when we first stayed at KOA about 3 years ago it was very very nice grass was green weeds were mowed beach was raked and clean ...wish it was like that now.....

It was a beautifully maintained, quiet RV park that I look forward to returning to. I've never seen such spotless bathrooms. The owner was great to work with. Within a very short span (minutes) after the RV next to us left, someone was there raking the site. Same with the small cabins. Saw staff sweeping the decks as soon as residents left. Lovely lake, small beach & peaceful. Loved it!!!

This should NOT be a KOA. We stay almost exclusively at KOA's; this one was not good. We checked in mid-week for a week stay. The squeezed us between two campers when 70% of the place was empty. They said it would fill up on weekend (it didn't). Very nice block fire pits for tent sites; rusted out, lopsided fire rings at RV sites. Mean dog on owner's golf cart, snaps at you. We left a day early.

The campground has great features and amenities; they keep the place very clean and orderly. It is close to the expressway so vehicle noise during the time we stayed was a little disappointing. The campground has clearly defined rules and during the Covid-19 impact things have gotten tighter. The owner was a little terse but the staff was cordial and very helpful. Overall, positive!

Loud hwy traffic (my fault since I knew the location). Good support staff but owner is not welcoming and has a dog off leash in the store. I walked in and he tried to bite me as I reached down to pet him. Steve laughed and said he's his guard dog...it wasn't funny and if he's a biter keep him behind the counter. We are required to keep dogs leashed, he should too or at least behind a gate.

We enjoyed the playground, jumping pillow, fishing, and canoe rides. The campground was very clean and maintained.

We stayed for six nights and loved this campground. The scenery with the lake was beautiful. The owner was very friendly and we talked often. Great place to spend some time!! Nice shady spots with full hookup.

We loved the koa and the site we stayed on. Plus the staff was nice and helpful. The guy even helped me back into my site. The only down fall is we can’t use are own kayaks on the lake. They do provide some for a extra cost. Even with that we are going back next month.

The campground was very clean and the people were very friendly. The only downside was that it was so close to the highway you didn’t really have a lot of peace and quiet. But the beauty of the place was amazing.

The campground was nice. Mens restrooms need repair update and deep cleaning. Some litter alongvthe lake, down the trail.

Great campground. The hospitality of those running the campground could use a lot of work. There were multiple instances where the staff was borderline rude to members of our group regarding the check-in process, the vehicles we had parked on our site (which were paid for) and timing of bike rentals. Overall a good camping experience, but it was diminished by their overall lack of hospitality.

Facility is beautiful and very kid friendly. My daughters had plenty of things to do during our stay. Unfortunately, a couple of the staff members could significantly benefit from some customer service (or life skills) training. Telling someone to “Get back in the car and be patient,” after waiting over an hour to get checked in is not the best practice.

It was very clean, lake was nice... Other than that, the camp manager made the stay for my girlfriend and I miserable. The whole camp ground was about 100 ft. long... Very small.

We enjoyed our stay. It was our first camping experience so we have nothing to compare it to. It was a beautiful setting and had fun activities for our grandchild to enjoy. The sites did feel close together when we arrived on Saturday but during the week, we had empty sites on both sides. We would go back!

Very cute campground with lakes, kayak rentals and wooded trails. There is no pool but a swimming area in one of the lakes. We were told the showers were closed due to Covid-19, however, they were open the entire week we stayed. Told us they just weren’t being “sanitized” so use at own risk. Highway noise from US-31 is quite loud even with windows closed, although tolerable in the late eveni

I'm so impressed with the management here. They checked daily to make sure everyone had a parking pass and allowed one vehicle per site which really helped keep traffic down with kids playing. The extra parking for the extra vehicle wasn't far from the camping sites. Everyone here was very nice and they kept everyone following the rules so everyone was able to have a nice time. We will definitely be back.
