Bathroom issues, very low pressure and toilets couldn’t be flush at times. Other than that, it was ok. I’m in the septic & well business, highly recommend getting both.

We have been coming for years now my whole family we rent out about 6 cabins or more at times and the owner has gotten very rude and disrespectful to the group we come to have a good time and not be treated the way he treats ppl

It was a nice campground, the only issue is that the bathroom never had any hot water for showers.

It was all run down. Only one shower worked and the tweeker lady that cleans the bathroom was creepy. The shower in the men's room by the office barely worked. There was no activities for the children. The fireworks display was a joke. I think the owner should put more money back into his campground. Absolutely horrible place.

The water did not work for half of my stay, the bathrooms were filthy, there was never any paper towel or toilet paper in the bathroom. The campground workers knew that other campers were blaring music until four in the morning and still did not do anything about it. There was a nosy employee who stuck his head in my car and I do not know why. My stay was noisy and gross. I will not come again.

Our stay was great, my only complaint was the shower stalls in the bathroom were beyond tiny. I am 8 months pregnant and I could barely fit in the stall. Getting dressed after rinsing off was beyond difficult. I couldn't imagine trying to bathe a child. My boyfriend is 6 ft tall and I highly doubt he wouldve been able to fit either.

Rented a 2 bedroom cabin for the night. The cabin itself was clean but upkeep needs some work. Not to far from the restroom but restrooms were HOT and showers were small and needed updates and shower heads would be nice. Water in front of cabins is murky and not swimmable! Front desk worker was rude. Would definitely find a different place to stay next time and would not recommend to anyone!

Lots to do here and we loved the evening shows. I loved how they came around and picked up your trash a few times a day. The walking trail was nice too. This is also really close to Michigan's Adventure (which is why we chose this one). It could use a little TLC on some areas though. The playground needed some attention, especially the zip line. But otherwise, not too much to complain about.

Everything was great! Definitely would come back and recommend to friends/family! The kids had a great time playing on the playground and in the lake. Everything was clean and felt very safe. The staff was friendly and helpful!

The camp is really nice we liked it a lot. The only complaints is that it’s too close to the highway so you get a lot of road noise. And the lake needs to be like “skimmed” or raked because. There was debris floating on top.

We had an excellent experience! Our kids love the jumping pillow and zip line. The only complaint I have is our mini fridge inside our cabin did not work but we made do.

Very quiet and nice even when the campground was almost full. Beach and lake are Sandy and great for swimming.

Your team of staff was incredibly friendly and accommodating with our large group. Lots of activities for our kids. We enjoyed it so much, we're coming back in three weeks!

My husband and I rented a cabin there for the night and it was perfect. The lake was beautiful and the cabin was clean. The staff is also incredibly friendly. We will for sure be back.

This campground is beautiful and well kept. It’s a great place for families and others who enjoy a beautiful lake and other amenities. Steve and staff are very friendly and accommodating.

We stayed in one of the cabins & my one big complaint is that the fire bit was eroded & as the fire burned clumps of hot ash came out the side, very dangerous when you have little ones running around. Other than that we had a pleasurable experience & the Staff was friendly/helpful.

This was our first trip to Muskegon KOA and we couldn't of been happier. The staff was great and the amenities were clean. Paddling around on the paddle boats and taking a walk around the lake was enjoyed by us all.

We have stayed at many KOA's. This is by far the worst experience we have ever had. The owner was drunk all 5 of the days we were there. As a result he was rude, asking inappropiate questions, called one of our campers a boy, and challenged him on if he was really a guest even though he had been there 3 days. The bathrooms were stinky and dirty. This campground does not deserve KOA status.

The staff was friendly and the campground itself has a gorgeous setting on the lake with a nice walking path all the way around. The lake is swim at your own risk and we decided against it as the water looked questionable, but we didn’t come to swim anyway. Loved the closeness to Michigan’s Adventure. My only real complaint is the restrooms/shower houses are outdated and weren’t very clean.

We enjoyed the stay and the grounds were really nice our only complaint is they don't have a K9 Camp we take our Beagle with us and I really like that we can take her to those and let her be off her leash for a bit. I do like the fact that the camp grounds are close to Michigan Adventure and Lake Michigan

The older gentleman that runs the place is a complete Jerk. He has no business running anything that deals with people. He has terrible people skills and treats his customers like trash. He even drinks out of pops and places them back into the cooler. I was unsure until the following day I was standing in front of the cooler and he asked me to hand him his pop out of the cooler. Terribly Rude Guy

This was our 4th year at the Muskegon KOA. Our kids and grandkids love the various activities. They stay in Deluxe cabins, which are nice and CLEAN. Workers are continuously circulating and clean the grounds. Plus there are lots of things to do in the area.

Wasn’t to bad! Something different for the kids! Just wish they had the cabins with bathrooms you can have kids in! When you have 4 little ones it’s hard to run to the shower house every 5 minutes!

Overall the stay was good, my first initial interaction with the manager wasn’t very good but got better after the owner/manager apologized for how things went down and it seems there was just a misunderstanding. Overall the campgrounds are very well cared for and the lake was beautiful.

Not well maintained. Didn't see many staff during our stay. Unable to connect to the dump pipe. Our hoses were on the left rear and the pipe was toward the front of the site. Several sites had stored trailers. Just not to the level of KOA's that we have stayed at. .

Stayed Saturday through Monday. I like the layout of the campground. Love the store. Staff was friendly. Good fishing. Liked sites 45 and 46. Negatives were a few parts of the bathhouse were out of order and the highway noise. We enjoyed our stay and will be back.

I don’t even know where to start. We have stayed at several KOA’s and this was hands down the worst we’ve ever been. Campground as a whole was very poorly maintained, not mowed, mold in the bathroom/showers, bounce pad was nearly black it was so dirty, there was a literal junk yard next to bounce pad, the camp sites were quite small and was cotton seed flying everywhere. Do not recommend

I'm so impressed with the management here. They checked daily to make sure everyone had a parking pass and allowed one vehicle per site which really helped keep traffic down with kids playing. The extra parking for the extra vehicle wasn't far from the camping sites. Everyone here was very nice and they kept everyone following the rules so everyone was able to have a nice time. We will definitely be back.
