Love the campground, we’ve been coming for years and every stay is so wonderful. Staff is very friendly. The only complaint I think I would have is there does seem to be some understaffing issues in the office. Multiple calls to the campground and nobody ever answers or returns voicemails.

Beautiful KOA. Lots of trees and spaces. We only stayed for 1 night; but this would be a great long term visit.

Love this KOA, it is always one of our favorites. We have stayed many times and each time is awesome. The staff is fantastic and location is perfect. The bathrooms and other facilities are always spotless. Have to love the walking trail and all the things for the kids to do. Look forward to the next time we have to stay again.

We had a great family weekend at KOA Mount Lassen in Shingletown (Friday–Monday) with two RVs and one cabin. The store staff and the gentleman working the grounds were both very friendly and pleasant. Loved the dog park and the little Halloween trails with the skeletons. Quiet, family-friendly, and a wonderful experience. We’ll definitely be back.

Great area for walking the dogs, although I am not a fan of the pine straw from the trees...Everyone was super friendly, and great location for the Lassen NP.

It was a little gem under the mountain pines! We stayed in early October and it was so quiet. Just wish that the sites had a paved/concrete pad.

This is our 9th year of making our annual group trip to the KOA. The staff are always friendly and helpful, and the campground is always clean. We always have a great time!

We love Mt. Lassen KOA and all of the team there! Huge shout out to Tim! He is so kind and goes above and beyond and you can truly tell he loves what he does and just provides the best customer service. We can’t wait for our next years stay! Thank you Tim and staff for a great experience this year!

We love atmosphere at this KOA. It is family friendly, with friendly and welcoming staff. It is very clean, especially the laundry room, which we appreciated. The sites are secluded and we liked that we could have campfires with the pressed logs.

Quiet location with plenty of shady spots. Great variety of activities for kids — table tennis, cornhole, baseball, basketball, and huge swings. Clean, well-maintained restrooms, including accessible facilities. Covered outdoor area with patio heaters and a gas grill.

We had a great stay! This KOA is very clean and the people who work there are so nice! Lots of activities to do around the campground. It is very close the Mt. Lassen NP. We spent one day in the park. Shingletown isn't too far away if you need gas or groceries. We will definitely be back again!

We had a lovely, albeit short stay at this KOA. We were there in the “off season” and didnt have a chance to enjoy some of the special amenities, but nonetheless the camp was clean and everyone we met was friendly and helpful. I can imagine that it is a happy and laughter filled park in the summer time! We plan on returning in the future and commend the KOA owners and employees for their effor

The sites in the campground are large which I understand were designed in the ‘60’s prior to large RV’s. Our site was far enough from the highway that it was quiet. Many sites have wooden fences to increase privacy. We didn’t use any public facilities but they were clean & well maintained.

Everyone was friendly, the facility was beautifully maintained, the dog park was excellent along with maintained walking trails and giant swings in the woods that were the biggest highlight for my kids. The campground was full most days but with the trees didn't feel crowded at all. We were very happy with this campground and would/ might stay here again.

This KOA is what we compare every other campground to. Shingletown is the best layout and experience. Been enjoying going here for about 15 years now. Staff always helpful and friendly.

Unbelievable property! It was an amazing stay. Both my husband and I are Veterans. The sleep we had was phenomenal! The people were friendly, helpful, and kind. The sights around Lassen were incredible - Lassen NP, Burney Falls, Lava Tubes! From the minute you enter the property, you see the meticulous attention they devote.

The staff at this KOA is the best anywhere, over the top helpful, kind and courteous. The campground is immaculate and groomed. This has become our favorite campground. Thanks to Doug & Tim from maintance, and Patty from the office.

Love this campground. Instead of RVs all lined up in a row there is variety in how the sites are set up. Lots of shade. Staff is very friendly. We stay here every year for an RV rally and use the pavilion. Great setup. Highly recommend.

The campground was very nice. From our check-in to to our site and the nicely kept grounds. Everything was top-notch. It is also a great location near many outdoor activities. We would definitely recommend a stay here.

Beautiful location. The cabins are nice and clean. Wonderful staff members. Cabins book out fast. Make sure to book ahead on the website in advance.

I didn't actually stay here. I did go check it out with a friend who already had a future reservation. Our encounter with the office staff was friendly and informative. They have a cute little store to pick up some fun souvenirs and bare necessities. ( Ice Cream!)The grounds keeper led us to the site my friend had reserved and pointed out all the amenities. We wandered around for a bit and were very pleased with what we saw. The grounds are nestled among tall pines, there's a heated swimming pool, dog park, volleyball court, and a place to shoot baskets, and get this...Tether ball! Lots of space for kids to explore and have a great time. I'm looking forward to booking a spot for my family soon!
