We stayed for 2 nights (Memorial weekend) Everything was beautiful, cleaned and everyone was very friendly. We can’t wait to go back !!!!!

Our pull thru site was very tight with bushes over grown and scraping the side of our 5th wheel. We shared an exit from our site with two other sites. Overall the park was tightly packed. The park was in a beautiful wooded setting and was quiet and peaceful. We would come back!

98% awesome trip. The last night there was a camper with an outdoor tv that was quite loud. Staff was super friendly, location was gorgeous and clean.

Very nice. Everyone was very friendly, and ran a great campground. The s’mores and pancake breakfast were amazing, and the restrooms were spotless. Thank you for a great stay.

Pleasant, relaxing. Enjoy the TLC the camp has obviously received over the years.

Enjoyed every minute of it. Gina was great at check-in and Tim helped us with a leaky faucet. Overall a very clean and well kept park and we will remember it as one of our favorite KOA’s!

We camp here every year. It's a great campground not far from home. EVERY campground has issues, not much here...the picnic table was a twisted, uneven mess. We had to put blocks under one side's legs in order to use it. And the store could be better stocked. But don't let my tiny issues scare you off! Very nice people and pretty area. :-)

Wonderful place...only question I would have is lots of vacant sites( not the season yet) but we were bunched together. Maybe campers paid extra for their spots?

One of the best camping we ever used. Simply, magnificent environment!
May 15, 2024
A little pricey for off season. Pool was not open. Paid premium for overnight. Something around $80.

good clean facilities. the sites are a little skewed dodging all the trees. on the expensive side.

Super clean and very nice. Love the playground (for adults too) in the backside of the kampground, the swings were a fun touch. Close to several Lakes and Redding so easy to get around. We had fun and ate at Shingletown's Pioneer Pizza, the firemean's pancake breakfast, and finally last morning we ate at Reed's for breakfast, all great finds! Staff was super nice, we will be back!

I do appreciate having a KOA in Mount Lassen and other more remote areas. The campground had no beauty to it among so much natural beauty. It was completely crammed together and all ROCKS and MUD no attempt like other KOAs to landscape. The emergency number did not work! I needed to change my reservation I am glad it wasn’t a true emergency because no one answered or called back.

Quick two-night stay to break up a long drive. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Beautiful quiet setting amongst the evergreens. Unfortunately, the whole campground was covered in snow from a big dump the previous night so we did not get to explore the grounds much. We have a 40’ 5th wheel and large crew-cab truck - we managed, but there was one or two tight turns. Would stay here again!

It was a great stay. Weather didn’t cooperate. It snowed on day 2 ended up inside the camper all day. Good thing WiFi works great. This is a great place to stay very friendly staff. Grounds well kept. And free coffee all day.

We were traveling with another couple and were at at opposite ends of the campground. They were very helpful to get us spots closer. Our spots were awkward and hard to get in, leveled and lined up well enough with the utilities and to be able to get the slide out. The bathrooms, laundry and the campground were clean and well maintained. We would stay again.

Great campground. I usually don't stay at KOAs, more a State Park person, but this was such a thought out Park with a very decent layout, so many amenities and so well kept. No complaints at all! Thanks!

The staff was very friendly and constantly working on cleaning and improving things. The campground was very clean. The playground was great for our toddler and the dog park was great for our dog. The internet was great and I was able to work without issues.

One of the nicest KOA campgrounds I have stayed at. Very well kept up with a myriad of activities geared towards families and large groups. It is situated in a beautiful forest of conifers. The parking spots are gravel and mine was level. The hookup worked fine. I used the bath, laundry facilities, and pool - all very nice. It's a short drive to the Lassen Volcanic National Park entrance. Highly recommended for a visit to this beautiful park.

This is one of the nicest KOA's that I have been to. A group of 13 of us were spread across three campsites and a cabin. It worked out wonderfully for all of our needs. We had mainly teens with us and the campground kept them busy when we weren't exploring Lassen National Park. They swam in the heated pool, played basketball and tetherball, and ventured around the back area behind our tents to play on the swings. At night, we went on the flashlight walk looking for the glow in the dark eyes in the trees. If you are tent camping with a group, I highly recommend booking Tent Site 9 and 10 because they are huge and allow room to roam. This KOA is also a few miles from Lassen National Park and also a short drive to Shingletown if you need something. This was a very convenient location for us! There is a wonderful man who was very helpful to all of us during our time there. I wish I caught his name but he even brought us some Sis-Q-Logs so we can have a campfire. The cons are small - the bathrooms and showers are quite a trek from the tent sites. I got lost at night and ended up in someone else's camping spot and had to walk around to find it. There is one dishwashing station but this is also at the front of the KOA so it's a trek. We cooked every meal for 13 people for four days and nights so we all had to walk our dishes up front to wash. Not a big deal but we wish we would have brought our own dishwashing station. Heads up, there is no real wood allowed to be burned here. You must purchase Sis-Q-Logs from their KOA store. It was fine with us, it smells and looks like real campfire and we think it even burned longer so that was a plus. Also, there is no ban on electric bikes or dirt bikes here so there were a few kids in the campground zipping around and kicking up dirt everywhere. Not terrible but kind of annoying when we were cooking. Outside of these small things, this is one of the best KOA's I've been to and stayed at. We loved it!
