I will have to say, this is such a wonderful, very clean, staff friendly KOA. We will definitely be returning. We had space 21. Mt. Lassen is approximately 15 minutes away. They had a small store at the KOA and appox a mile down the road was a Dollar General and 2 grocery stores. We used their clean laundry facility and they had clean showers and bathrooms which we did not use but looked at.

Enjoyed cooling off in the pool! Just what we needed to get away from the heat of summer in Redding. Loved movies on the lawn on Friday night

Top notch! The campground gets an A+ for cleanliness and kid friendly amenities. There are a lot of fun spaces to explore for both the kids and adults. The staff went out of their way to ensure our stay was an excellent one!

By far the nicest KOA we stayed at in a while and the location to Lassen was great. Wanted to go back after we arrived at our next campground (not a KOA).

FANTASTIC!!! (as always). I called the day ahead to arrange early check-in and Gina was very helpful. When we arrived, Patti got us setup. We love this place. This is what an award-winning campground should look like! Thank you and keep it up!!

A well designed and maintained campground in a beautiful setting. Sites are spacious. Ours had a privacy fence in addition to mature trees and bushes. Friendly folks in the office. Best feature is their espresso machine. A free cappuccino to start the day!

We had a nice time there. Everything is neat and in good order. Anyone staying here should plan to fill up with gas as there are not many services near by. Mt Lassen NP was very interesting. The closest entrance is found by turning right as soon as you leave the campground.

Been here a few times, very nice and clean. Love that wifi is included and it is fast, makes working on the road easier. Would like the RV sites to be more private from surrounding sites. The store used to have more fun things/souvenirs, we like to buy unique things from each trip. The weekend events are fun and cute for the kids.

We had a fantastic stay at this campground in our motor home with the family. The staff was incredibly friendly and the site was well-maintained. When our levelers failed, the maintenance guy was exceptionally helpful, referring us to a reliable RV repair service and lending us tools to fix the issue. It was a huge relief and made our trip stress-free. Highly recommend this place!

We were scheduled to stay in a site under the cell tower and in the middle of a lot of RVs. I went to the office and asked if there was any possibility we could have a less congested site. Lucky us we got site 31! It was so awesome. Though this site was for big rigs our little Falcon 14 just fit right in. That space has a wonderful amount of privacy. We will be back! Great staff!

Dirt roads, we were shoehorned in a site that was barely big enough for our 40 ft Class A. The site next to us would have been big enough but had a Sprinter Van instead. Bad planning, KOAs are really going downhill.

This is a perfect place to stay if you are going to see Lassen National Park. It is so close. The facilities are well maintained and staff helpful and friendly. The complimentary drinks such as coffee and tea are an added plus!

We really enjoyed staying here. Check in was quick and easy. Staff was super friendly. The site was clean, needed a small amount of leveling. Overall great place to stay with kids.

Our first time KOA stay and we were very pleased with it. This campground is so nice and clean and all staff members we met were friendly, polite and caring. We didn't find any faults with this KOA at all! Only suggestion would be to have small trash cans specifically for dog poop bags. Had this at a campground in NM, and it was great & our GSD contributed daily to their small cans. We'll be back!

This location is very nice with a pool and lots to do for kids. But working with the office is a nightmare. Hard to get a reservation, then it is wrong when I checked in behind a church group with only one person checking people in. Management appears non existent in the office. Left message asking the owner to call me. They never returned my call.

Just a two night quick stay close to home. We stayed in site #114 for the first time and loved it. It was very private and far from others. Staff was phenomenal as always and we enjoyed the free ice cream social on Saturday night. Only complaint is that it is so expensive! No more expensive than other KOAs and resorts, but camping prices are getting out of control.

Beautiful campground! We arrived late but easily found our check-in information. Our pull through patio site was very nice. The laundry room is open 24 hours and has a change machine- just what we needed! My granddaughter could play at the excellent playground while I did laundry. We will definitely return in the future. 10 AM checkout time is a little too early after a long travel day though.

We’ve been coming here for several years. We have already made next years reservations. We love it here and have gotten to know the staff. Doug and Tanner are great as are the rest of the staff.

Clean campsites, friendly staff, lots of fun stuff for our kids to do, and top notch amenities meant that our family had a blast! During the week, the Wi-Fi was fast and accessible all throughout the campsite; though during the weekend, all the campsites filled and the Wi-Fi became spotty due to high traffic. Would highly recommend this koa!

We enjoyed our 3-night stay and were very pleased with our Deluxe trailer site. The staff were friendly and helpful. The facilities were clean and serviced routinely. The only negatives were the annoying barking dog and a number of bike riders. The handout literature with the RULES was very clear on no tolerance of barking dogs and that no bikes were allowed. These rules were not enforced.

We had a great time staying at Mt Lasen KOA campground. The grounds are very clean, and the staff are friendly and helpful. We'll definitely would stay here again.

One of the nicest KOA campgrounds I have stayed at. Very well kept up with a myriad of activities geared towards families and large groups. It is situated in a beautiful forest of conifers. The parking spots are gravel and mine was level. The hookup worked fine. I used the bath, laundry facilities, and pool - all very nice. It's a short drive to the Lassen Volcanic National Park entrance. Highly recommended for a visit to this beautiful park.

This is one of the nicest KOA's that I have been to. A group of 13 of us were spread across three campsites and a cabin. It worked out wonderfully for all of our needs. We had mainly teens with us and the campground kept them busy when we weren't exploring Lassen National Park. They swam in the heated pool, played basketball and tetherball, and ventured around the back area behind our tents to play on the swings. At night, we went on the flashlight walk looking for the glow in the dark eyes in the trees. If you are tent camping with a group, I highly recommend booking Tent Site 9 and 10 because they are huge and allow room to roam. This KOA is also a few miles from Lassen National Park and also a short drive to Shingletown if you need something. This was a very convenient location for us! There is a wonderful man who was very helpful to all of us during our time there. I wish I caught his name but he even brought us some Sis-Q-Logs so we can have a campfire. The cons are small - the bathrooms and showers are quite a trek from the tent sites. I got lost at night and ended up in someone else's camping spot and had to walk around to find it. There is one dishwashing station but this is also at the front of the KOA so it's a trek. We cooked every meal for 13 people for four days and nights so we all had to walk our dishes up front to wash. Not a big deal but we wish we would have brought our own dishwashing station. Heads up, there is no real wood allowed to be burned here. You must purchase Sis-Q-Logs from their KOA store. It was fine with us, it smells and looks like real campfire and we think it even burned longer so that was a plus. Also, there is no ban on electric bikes or dirt bikes here so there were a few kids in the campground zipping around and kicking up dirt everywhere. Not terrible but kind of annoying when we were cooking. Outside of these small things, this is one of the best KOA's I've been to and stayed at. We loved it!

Lots of family activities and things to do. Great access to Lassen National Park. Facilities and customer service were great. Enjoyed our pancake breakfast as well. Thanks for a great stay.
