We've been to a handful of KOAs and this was by far our favorite! We loved all the amenities (ping pong, dog walk, bird-watching) and the personal touches like the tree swings and all the July 4th festivities. The grounds were clean, the sites spacious, the crew friendly, and the campground itself was conveniently located near fishing, Mt.. Lassen, and Shasta Lake. Definitely a 10/10!!!

Awesome place!! SO CLEAN!! We were so thrilled finding a gas grill, ceiling fan, pillows, ac & heat, (we needed neither), but it's nice to have certain times of the year. Gina was awesome, & all the outdoor trails/games were lovely. The setting was beautiful, roomy (we were in a cabin)& convenient to Mt Lassen. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay, Thanks for the great hospitality!! MJ & Lois

Road noise takes getting used to. Pool is very small. Very clean facilities and staff very welcoming!

We stayed in a high end cabin which exceeded our expectations. There is a large gas bbq grill and a great outdoor patio with a large table with easy seating for 6 adults. The cabin has an adequate kitchen with large refrigerator, an apartment size gas stove, microwave and Keurig coffee maker. The bathroom and shower (shampoo, conditioner, and body soap) were fine including more than adequate towel

This campground was clean and well cared. Store hours were great. My kids loved the pool and playground. My only notes are that the $30 dog fee seemed excessive (more than most hotels), considering there was very little that could be damaged by her in the camping cabin. For a fee like that, it would have been nice if we could have left her crated in the climate controlled cabin.

Absolutely outstanding site. My first KOA stay since I was a little kid, and it set the bar VERY high for the rest of the KOAs on my trip!! Abby at the front desk was kind, funny, and super helpful. The showers/bathroom area was immaculate and incredibly clean. The cabin was perfect and the AC was helpful with the heat wave.

We have an annual family campout at KOA every Memorial Day weekend. It's been going on for almost 20 years. Great people at Mt. Lassen KOA especially Doug. The lodge is a little over priced I think but my family has a good time.

It unexpectedly snowed so we didn’t get to enjoy the outside but the cabin is always nice and the snow was beautiful. The people who work there are very friendly.

This is a very nice KOA! They go out of their way to add extra touches that I've never seen in many other KOA's. In our 2 bedroom cabin,(no bathroom) there were bags with sheets, blankets, pillows, and towels. That's a first in this type of accommodation. You usually have to bring these. And the bathroom was always spotless! Finally, the women at the desk were exceptionally friendly! Great place!

It was a perfect, overnight cabin stay during our motorcycle tour through the area (Apr. 2024). Easy website reservation. Great preps by staff for our after-hours arrival. Super clean facilities & grounds. The cabin worked out perfectly for us (4 adults). Appreciated the friendly staff, too. Keep up the great work.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Everything was super clean, there were lots of activities, considering a relatively small rustic spot and the staff were friendly and helpful. Would definitely stay there again.

My wife and her sister stayed in a deluxe cabin. They found it to be top notch, clean and well equipped. Employee Doug was extremely helpful and all staff very friendly. Highly recommend this family friendly campground.

Fall Festival is our favorite time of year at Lassen KOA! We spend all day hiking on Friday in Lassen NP and then enjoy all the fun activities on Saturday at the festival. This KOA is clean and provides a lot of activities for children...and those young at heart! From swings to a playground to bike jumps in the forest, we hardly see our two kids when we visit here...they're off making fast friends

Stayed in cabin. Comfortable, clean. All facilities were clean and in working order. Close access to Lassen National Park-bummer no dogs-but KOA allows and had a great dog park. Friendly staff. We will go again. Thank you.

Loved everything about the KOA! The staff were so friendly and helpful in directions and able to answer any questions we had. The cabin was spacious and accomadting. Close to local attractions and just felt like a real vacation. Wr will definately be coming back to this KOA.

Wonderful stay! Staff were super friendly, knowledgeable and helpful. The grounds were clean and the Lodge house was comfortable and perfect for our girls getaway. Be sure and go through the back woods we had fun on the swings.

We spent a night here in a one room cabin before our trip to Lassen National Park. Restrooms and showers were nearby, everything spotlessly clean. A water spigot was very close to the cabin. Electricity and wifi were appreciated because the area is a dead zone for internet connections. There is a general store with friendly and helpful staff. And there's a Tesla destination charger. Great place!

We traveled through from AZ to OR and stayed on the way up and the way down, renting a Lodge each night. Very comfortable and grateful for the hot water and kitchen, just what we needed after roughing it. The beds were the only thing I was not 100 percent satisfied with, they were very uncomfortable and loud. The bed frame or the springs were so noisy through the night.

Kabin was cute, bathrooms clean. Nice people both employees and patrons, woke at 1:30 am to go to bathroom. As I was walking back to my kabin, saw fireflies in the trees. There’s no string lights in the area of my kabin, employees said they see them very rarely. Was the first time I’ve ever seen them, I lived in the area for over 5 years. Mt Lassen KOA is the best! Everyone one of the staff members were eager to make our visit fantastic! They were friendly, professional, and helpful. One of the nicest KOA campgrounds I have stayed at. Very well kept up with a myriad of activities geared towards families and large groups. It is situated in a beautiful forest of conifers. The parking spots are gravel and mine was level. The hookup worked fine. I used the bath, laundry facilities, and pool - all very nice. It's a short drive to the Lassen Volcanic National Park entrance. Highly recommended for a visit to this beautiful park.

This is one of the nicest KOA's that I have been to. A group of 13 of us were spread across three campsites and a cabin. It worked out wonderfully for all of our needs. We had mainly teens with us and the campground kept them busy when we weren't exploring Lassen National Park. They swam in the heated pool, played basketball and tetherball, and ventured around the back area behind our tents to play on the swings. At night, we went on the flashlight walk looking for the glow in the dark eyes in the trees. If you are tent camping with a group, I highly recommend booking Tent Site 9 and 10 because they are huge and allow room to roam. This KOA is also a few miles from Lassen National Park and also a short drive to Shingletown if you need something. This was a very convenient location for us! There is a wonderful man who was very helpful to all of us during our time there. I wish I caught his name but he even brought us some Sis-Q-Logs so we can have a campfire. The cons are small - the bathrooms and showers are quite a trek from the tent sites. I got lost at night and ended up in someone else's camping spot and had to walk around to find it. There is one dishwashing station but this is also at the front of the KOA so it's a trek. We cooked every meal for 13 people for four days and nights so we all had to walk our dishes up front to wash. Not a big deal but we wish we would have brought our own dishwashing station. Heads up, there is no real wood allowed to be burned here. You must purchase Sis-Q-Logs from their KOA store. It was fine with us, it smells and looks like real campfire and we think it even burned longer so that was a plus. Also, there is no ban on electric bikes or dirt bikes here so there were a few kids in the campground zipping around and kicking up dirt everywhere. Not terrible but kind of annoying when we were cooking. Outside of these small things, this is one of the best KOA's I've been to and stayed at. We loved it!

Lots of family activities and things to do. Great access to Lassen National Park. Facilities and customer service were great. Enjoyed our pancake breakfast as well. Thanks for a great stay.
