Wow, what a great place to stay with friendly hosts. We have been traveling for about 2 months the Shingletown KOA was the best place so far this trip. I can't tell you how nice it is to arrive at a clean camp. All the restrooms, showers, and common areas were very well maintained. And the host were very accommodating and helpful. Thanks!

This is one of the nicest KOAs we have stayed at. There were a lot of activities for kids (games nice playground, little trails to walk) and the facilities, sites and cabins are very clean and taken care of. The staff in the office were all very nice and friendly and they had complimentary coffee (espresso maker!) cocoa and cider which was lovely!

Even though it was cold and rainy, we had an awesome time at the KOA! Me and our family of ten enjoyed the fire pits, cozy warm cabins and cooking in the well equipped kitchen. The staff was incredible! Special shoutout to Tim and Brian. So nice!!

The staff was lovely. They helped with every little thing we always choose KOA for when we go to stay. They were fire code compliant with cow fire, which we really appreciate and it was surrounded by beautiful natural landscape, very accessible and very clean. We went for our anniversary and we will go back multiple times.

We came into the park after hours on our first night to find out our cabin had been upgraded. It was a pleasant end to a full day of things not going to plan. Thank you again for doing that. Ken was very friendly and always greeted my kids with friendly upbeat demeanor. When we come that way we will always try to stay there! :)

Very nice property in a great location nearby Lassen National Park. Stayed in a deluxe camper cabin, and the accomodations were excellent. Great little dog park, and I also really enjoyed walking around the trails on the property. Very kind and helpful staff members.

Mt. Lassen KOA is a terrific place for families and friends to connect. The staff is not only professional and helpful, they take the time to be friendly. When you’re at the Mt.Lassen KOA you are family.

The park was clean and quiet. We stayed in a deluxe cabin. The pool was clean and refreshing. The park was in close proximity to Mt. Lassen park. We found some nice things at the gift shop too!

Always great, staff is on top of most everything. The KOA might consider animal proof waste disposal containers as every night the garbage was scattered around. A couple of times you could hear them foraging.

The cost of this campground seems to have increased dramatically over the past few years. Staff is friendly and helpful save for a minor billing issue that was resolved satisfactorily. A bit disappointed in the lack of cooking supplies in the cabin house.

Our cabin was clean and well appointed, the facilities on property were so nice, and Tanner at the front desk went above and beyond to ensure we had a freezer in our cabin for prescription medication we had with us that needed to remain frozen. Wonderful first experience at a KOA. We will definitely be back!

The campground and cabins are always clean and the staff are super friendly! Great place to stay! Close enough to drive to Hat Creek to go fishing, then return to a comfortable place to stay. We have been going there for many years and will continue to do so! We have a travel trailer and we don't always take it. We have tent camped and stayed in several of the many cabins they have to offer.

Stayed two nights in a cabin with my dad. Staff were very friendly and welcoming. Cabin was very clean as was the entire campgrounds. Highly appreciated our stay.

Stayed in the 2-bedroom lodge cabin. It was perfect as our home base for exploring Lassen Park. We had everything we needed. The staff was very friendly and helpful. We would definitely stay here again if we were in the area.

The Mt. Lassen KOA has friendly helpful staff, the campground is well maintained and clean. I loved the extra touches such as the twinkling lights in the tall trees at the front. I would stay here again.

Fantastic time with family and annual catch up with camping friends! Great activities for family including free pancake breakfast, bingo, giant bubble machine and ice cream social. Great wifi too. Facilities are well maintained and clean and staff is super friendly. Don't miss this KOA GEM!!! Close to Mt. Lassen and Burney Falls.

The Shingletown KOA is our kids' favorite place to stay. The staff are super friendly and helpful, the grounds are well-kept and cleaned, and the activities are so much fun. Our kids especially love the tree swings and the playground. We really enjoyed our stay and look forward to coming again next summer!

my family has a reunion every 2 years, staying at your KOA .Always enjoyable until booted out before fire approached. Staff was very kind and efficient during our evacuation. Helpful too in trying to find space for 40 family members. Thanks for the short stay.

My family plans a family reunion at the KOA, every 2 years, As always, the amenities are spot on, and the staff is very knoweledgeable, THIS year was especially terrific, as the staff came by while the family was making their annual communal dinner get together, and told us YOU MUST PREPARE TO EVACUATE DUE TO A FIRE COMING OUR WAY. We have been coming to this KOA for over 10 years. It is not what it used to be at all since the new owners took over. We were so happy to see Doug on Sunday but it is not what it used to be. Unfortunately, we will not be returning next year for our multi-family camping trip. Pool was green, no staff interaction, women's bathroom was always out of TP. It's the little things.

Pool was not maintained … gross green color. Staff did shut it down after 2 days to clean it. Park is starting to slide in rating as grounds are not as cared for as they were in the past. Staff just isn’t as welcoming as in the past.

The closeness to Lassen National Park is always a plus for our family. The KOA has friendly staff and guests. We always feel comfortable and safe. My husband couldn't make it so this was my first trip without him. Just me and the children, but because of the home feeling I get when coming to this KOA, I knew I would be fine. We come back every year. Already have our reservation for 2025. I do think a small divider fence blocking the septic area would be beneficial. We were in space 4 but space 5 had their chairs just feet from our septic. A small divider fence would have been nice for them. We love staying with you. Doug is awesome! Gina is awesome. Everyone is fantastic.

It was fun. The administration's effort to bring campers together in fun activities was really great. The problem was the excessive heat in open grounds, but that's no ones fault. Beyond that every thing was very good. Everywhere constantly being cleaned. My kids have reserved, 2 years at a time. Thank you greatly.

One of the nicest KOA campgrounds I have stayed at. Very well kept up with a myriad of activities geared towards families and large groups. It is situated in a beautiful forest of conifers. The parking spots are gravel and mine was level. The hookup worked fine. I used the bath, laundry facilities, and pool - all very nice. It's a short drive to the Lassen Volcanic National Park entrance. Highly recommended for a visit to this beautiful park.

This is one of the nicest KOA's that I have been to. A group of 13 of us were spread across three campsites and a cabin. It worked out wonderfully for all of our needs. We had mainly teens with us and the campground kept them busy when we weren't exploring Lassen National Park. They swam in the heated pool, played basketball and tetherball, and ventured around the back area behind our tents to play on the swings. At night, we went on the flashlight walk looking for the glow in the dark eyes in the trees. If you are tent camping with a group, I highly recommend booking Tent Site 9 and 10 because they are huge and allow room to roam. This KOA is also a few miles from Lassen National Park and also a short drive to Shingletown if you need something. This was a very convenient location for us! There is a wonderful man who was very helpful to all of us during our time there. I wish I caught his name but he even brought us some Sis-Q-Logs so we can have a campfire. The cons are small - the bathrooms and showers are quite a trek from the tent sites. I got lost at night and ended up in someone else's camping spot and had to walk around to find it. There is one dishwashing station but this is also at the front of the KOA so it's a trek. We cooked every meal for 13 people for four days and nights so we all had to walk our dishes up front to wash. Not a big deal but we wish we would have brought our own dishwashing station. Heads up, there is no real wood allowed to be burned here. You must purchase Sis-Q-Logs from their KOA store. It was fine with us, it smells and looks like real campfire and we think it even burned longer so that was a plus. Also, there is no ban on electric bikes or dirt bikes here so there were a few kids in the campground zipping around and kicking up dirt everywhere. Not terrible but kind of annoying when we were cooking. Outside of these small things, this is one of the best KOA's I've been to and stayed at. We loved it!

Lots of family activities and things to do. Great access to Lassen National Park. Facilities and customer service were great. Enjoyed our pancake breakfast as well. Thanks for a great stay.
