Short but friendly. Great crew, well maintained and comfortable. Restrooms, showers, all facilities were well kept and clean. This should be the standard for KOA

The campgrounds were great! Bathrooms were clean and the site was well maintained. We loved the pool and the trails in the back with the volleyball court and tether ball court. Great family atmosphere and was the perfect weekend of relaxation.

Amazing employees!

Crowed lots and price is way higher then all other KOA and with that price no sewer. Pull through are partial pull through but also exits for other campers around you. Not a real KOA Holidays as a KOA member I would not recommend .

Great location and campground. The one negative was that the campground had a disco light on the office roof that was shining into the trees around us all night which kept shining into our cabin.

This KOA is one of my favorites. It is great for families with a pool and a playground and lots of room to wander. It's great for folks like my husband and I who like quiet and dark and a pet friendly area.

This is a lovely campground in the woods only 14 miles from Lassen Volcanic National Park. Clean restrooms, a wonderful dog park, and great recreation opportunities. We throughly enjoyed our stay.

Friendly staff, fun activities and a beautiful location!

We enjoyed our, stay, amenities are great and in good working order. In my opinion, Mt. Lassen/Shingletown KOA would be perfect if the main roads not the sites were paved to keep the dusty roads. down. Great place to stay and explore from

It was okay. I have mobility issues so I had to unhook and drive to the bathroom and to the dog park with my service dogs. Dog packs barking all night, not KOAs fault but nonetheless not a restful sleep.

Just needed a place to stay for 1 night on our way to Manzanita Lake in Lassen National Park. Was very impressed with the clean, well maintained KOA. This campground was in a great location & had almost every amenity you could think of. I really appreciated the fantastic customer service and friendly attitude of the older gentleman who does maintenance for the property...very helpful and pleasant

This is our third year in a row we have stayed here at this location and it is always a flawless visit. The ownership has put so much care and thought into the facility and truly goes above and beyond for their guests. The grounds are immaculate, the staff is friendly and the activities they always plan out are fun and engaging. We couldn't recommend this campground enough!

We have been coming to the Shingletown KOA for the past 5 years on Memorial Day weekend! It's always a great time. The Staff is always friendly and helpful. Their camp store is great adorable camp themed goodies and basic needs. They have great activities going on during the holiday weekend that we love to take part in! The new Gazebo area is so nice! The pool is always a hit too!

Enjoyed our stay tremendously! Jezzy ,our dog, loved your dog park and walking through your forest. Though we didn’t take advantage, there were lots of outdoor games I would have loved to play with, lol. Friendly staff, real clean, and beautiful trees!!

This was our first time staying at the Shingletown KOA. What a lovely spot! Everything you could possibly need. The staff(Tim, Patty, and the gentleman with the feather hat), were all so friendly and accommodating!! The grounds are clean, well kept. So much for the little ones to do! We will definitely be back! Space fills up fast, so book well in advance.

My wife and I come up to Lassen KOA several times a year and we love it. The new owners and staff are always so helpful and are a delight to know. We usually have our kids and grandkids come up and camp with us...and they always have a great time!

The staff was very friendly and enjoyed getting to know some for the guests. The site was great as well, love the walking trails. I appreciate that the guests respected the curfew and it was a great stay. The only concern i have is the $103/night fee, other full hookup in season campgrounds I have stayed at in the area are around $70-$80/night for season rates! Suggest lower rates for returners!

One of the nicest KOA campgrounds I have stayed at. Very well kept up with a myriad of activities geared towards families and large groups. It is situated in a beautiful forest of conifers. The parking spots are gravel and mine was level. The hookup worked fine. I used the bath, laundry facilities, and pool - all very nice. It's a short drive to the Lassen Volcanic National Park entrance. Highly recommended for a visit to this beautiful park.

This is one of the nicest KOA's that I have been to. A group of 13 of us were spread across three campsites and a cabin. It worked out wonderfully for all of our needs. We had mainly teens with us and the campground kept them busy when we weren't exploring Lassen National Park. They swam in the heated pool, played basketball and tetherball, and ventured around the back area behind our tents to play on the swings. At night, we went on the flashlight walk looking for the glow in the dark eyes in the trees. If you are tent camping with a group, I highly recommend booking Tent Site 9 and 10 because they are huge and allow room to roam. This KOA is also a few miles from Lassen National Park and also a short drive to Shingletown if you need something. This was a very convenient location for us! There is a wonderful man who was very helpful to all of us during our time there. I wish I caught his name but he even brought us some Sis-Q-Logs so we can have a campfire. The cons are small - the bathrooms and showers are quite a trek from the tent sites. I got lost at night and ended up in someone else's camping spot and had to walk around to find it. There is one dishwashing station but this is also at the front of the KOA so it's a trek. We cooked every meal for 13 people for four days and nights so we all had to walk our dishes up front to wash. Not a big deal but we wish we would have brought our own dishwashing station. Heads up, there is no real wood allowed to be burned here. You must purchase Sis-Q-Logs from their KOA store. It was fine with us, it smells and looks like real campfire and we think it even burned longer so that was a plus. Also, there is no ban on electric bikes or dirt bikes here so there were a few kids in the campground zipping around and kicking up dirt everywhere. Not terrible but kind of annoying when we were cooking. Outside of these small things, this is one of the best KOA's I've been to and stayed at. We loved it!
