Great place to stay w a family! Lots to do for kids, nice bathrooms and shower, 24 hour laundry and the outdoor kitchen for washing dishes was life saver!

We had a great time! Patti that works at the store is so friendly and helpful! She always has a smile and the complimentary coffee machine ready to go in the morning when they open!

We had a very nice stay. I was in an RV spot 35, next to my sister’s cabin. My spot was nice and level. The park is very pretty with nice amenities. We loved the nature area in the back with basketball, volleyball, a couple swings and nice area for my grandson to ride his bike.

I would 5-star if shower stalls were cleaner. The bathrooms are fine, it is the stalls that need a good cleaning. Watch for low trees if in a big rig. Great access to NP and ample level space for pull thru with towed truck, level was good but site 28 was a mix of gravel and dirt in hard used area and more gravel would have been preferred. Nice friendly staff, appreciated the free hot beverage.

Lovely campground. beautiful setting, very convenient. Our cabin was spotless and really comfortable. We arrived after the office had closed, and they made it very easy on us with our keys ready and they had even turned on the heat so our cabin was ready for us to settle in. Great reading lawn with hammocks that we took advantage of after an early day of hiking!

This was a very beautiful mountain KOA that has excellent customer service. A great find for those wishing to go to Mt. Lassen National Park. There are lots of a tivities for families to do at this rv park.

Beautiful campground in a great location. Staff was friendly and took pride in their jobs. Ice cream social was fantastic! Pool was nice and clean and it was fun to have one available. Terrible cell service here, but they had very good wifi. We also appreciated the filtered water station at the drinking fountain. Thanks for a nice stay!

What can't I say - The staff was amazing, the grounds were clean and an easy and safe base camp for Lassen. I would recommend this KOA to all.

The Lassen National Park is beautiful and a lot of fun to visit. This is our second stay at Shingletown KOA. The RV park resources are always in proper working condition. The KOA management is always friendly and helpful to resolve the issues at hand. The restrooms and laundry are always clean and available for use. We will be returning to the KOA our next time visiting Lassen National Park.

We've stayed at about 30 KOAs, and the Mt. Lassen / Shingletown KOA is our all-time favorite! This one has a wonderful original KOA vibe. We love the recreational amenities and the quiet trails at the back of the property. The pool is great, and everything is impeccably operated and maintained. All the staff we talked to were friendly and very professional. We hope to come back soon!

A very clean well kept KOA. We have stayed at KOA’s for over 25 years now and by far this was one of the best. Location was great. The sites were not crowded. The staff were friendly and helpful. A shout out to Patti. It is a KOA for others should learn from.

Shingletown KOA provided the best possible environment to enjoy our trip with our two grandsons. There was enough room to walk around with our two dogs. The boys and my husband went on a couple nice, long bike rides which they enjoyed very much. It was really nice being surrounded by all the beautiful big trees and felt very peaceful. Staff was very friendly, campground very clean and well maintained. They had several cabins as well which looked very nice from the outside. Our pull-thru site was very nice and long enough to stay hooked up if desired. Sites all seemed very level. Very nice KOA!

The staff is fantastic, especially Doug and Tim. So helpful and kind, you never need to ask for anything when they are around My only complaint is that the store/office is open such short hours.

Great location close to Lassen National Park. Staff was very friendly and site was clean. For a big rig the spots are a little tight getting through.

"Quiet location with plenty of shady spots. Great variety of activities for kids — table tennis, cornhole, baseball, basketball, and huge swings. Clean, well-maintained restrooms, including accessible facilities. Covered outdoor area with patio heaters and a gas grill."

I didn't actually stay here. I did go check it out with a friend who already had a future reservation. Our encounter with the office staff was friendly and informative. They have a cute little store to pick up some fun souvenirs and bare necessities. ( Ice Cream!)The grounds keeper led us to the site my friend had reserved and pointed out all the amenities. We wandered around for a bit and were very pleased with what we saw. The grounds are nestled among tall pines, there's a heated swimming pool, dog park, volleyball court, and a place to shoot baskets, and get this...Tether ball! Lots of space for kids to explore and have a great time. I'm looking forward to booking a spot for my family soon!
