We've been coming to Mt Lassen KOA for almost 10 years. Our family has grown to now include our kids and grandkids. We absolutely love this place. Everyone is so welcoming and very friendly. The ice cream social, pancake breakfast and movie nights are great. The pool, the "big swing" and walking path are what we all look forward to each time. Thank you for a home away from home place to stay!

We love the KOA, and we love the staff. The grounds are perfect for a country summer getaway. The ancillary weekend events are a nice draw too. Though the master bed in L5 is in serious need of replacing.

This campground was beautiful! Wooded, roomy sites that were not all in a row like a parking lot! Clean restrooms, well kept grounds, and a kind gentleman who escorted us to our site! I really appreciate that service. Conveniently located near Lassen Volcanic National Park, which was fabulous!

Our cabin was clean and cozy. Staff was friendly and helpful. Reed’s market down the road has everything you need and makes great sandwiches for hikes. Great people beautiful area.

Quiet area, extremely clean and well kept. During the summer, they have a movie night, ice cream social and pancake breakfasts on the weekends. They have a small pool, basketball, large swings, tires to climb. They are close to hiking, the Falls and caves. Would definitely return again!

Thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The wooded area in the back of the grounds are wonderful for walking the dogs and enjoying the trees. The pool was exceptionally clean and refreshing on a hot afternoon. A special thank you to Tim who helped us navigate in and out of a tight spot for our setup, and got us into a more appropriate site for our truck and trailer setup.Thank you Tim, you are awesome!

My family has been staying at Shingletown KOA for years. It's always been a favorite of ours and the new owners have just made it that much nicer! Facilities are clean...store is always stocked with the essentials...free coffee included! Staff is always helpful and pleasant.

Have camped at koa's past forty years... always dependable, trustworthy and friendly staff... always safe for families. And can always depend on that green double bed mattress, lol! Imagine my surprise last week, when I saw the new pillow top on "my old green mattress". LOVE IT !!! If possible could the new TV set be wall mounted above door in 4 person kabins? Took up on counter. Love you all!

We come here every year. Its always clean with helpful friendly staff and safe for the littles to wander a bit and play. A great family environment and we love it.

The cabin was perfect for visiting Lassen Volcanic National Park. It was clean, close to bathrooms and overall the grounds were kept nicely. Any staff we interacted with were very helpful!

Another great stay. Although the four groups in spaces 7,8,9,12, all had alcohol in the pool area and basically made it impossible for my 7 year old grandson to have fun.

Was perfect for what we needed. Staff was friendly and there were fun little things going on like movies, pancake breakfast, etc. I would love to see the cats eye trail given some love. We did it and were having trouble finding everything. Cute idea though!

This was our very 1st KOA in our life. WOOOOOW! very nice place. Its in the center of all the attractions. Large general store. They have a great play area for kids in the woods. Its very quiet. The bathrooms are clean and free showers.

Our entire stay was amazing! The staff, especially Tim, were very helpful and kind to us. The added activities such as movie in the park, snow cones and ice cream social were a big hit with my kids. The campground was clean and central to Mt. Lassen. We will be back! Thank you!

Loved the quiet and clean campground. Wish there was a bit more shade. The laundry room was very convenient. All the staff were so nice!

Nice campground with plenty of activities. Grounds were clean and sites were good sized. We like that our campsite had fences on both sides which gave privacy. Would go back again.

This is by far the best KOA we've stayed at. The staff is exceptional, so friendly and helpful. Got parked just in time for the Sunday ice cream social, just WOW! Great ice cream, toppings and more.

Beautiful location. The cabins are nice and clean. Wonderful staff members. Cabins book out fast. Make sure to book ahead on the website in advance.

"Quiet location with plenty of shady spots. Great variety of activities for kids — table tennis, cornhole, baseball, basketball, and huge swings. Clean, well-maintained restrooms, including accessible facilities. Covered outdoor area with patio heaters and a gas grill."

I didn't actually stay here. I did go check it out with a friend who already had a future reservation. Our encounter with the office staff was friendly and informative. They have a cute little store to pick up some fun souvenirs and bare necessities. ( Ice Cream!)The grounds keeper led us to the site my friend had reserved and pointed out all the amenities. We wandered around for a bit and were very pleased with what we saw. The grounds are nestled among tall pines, there's a heated swimming pool, dog park, volleyball court, and a place to shoot baskets, and get this...Tether ball! Lots of space for kids to explore and have a great time. I'm looking forward to booking a spot for my family soon!
