The staff was very friendly and helpful, especially Doug. Doug helped people park their motorhomes and gave suggestions on the correct approach to a site. The sites are close together and can be narrow due to the beautiful trees. We were there during the week so there wasn’t any events going on at the KOA but the weekends looked like fun. Check-in hours are very short.

Staff was really helpful and friendly. Accommodations were as expected and listed without any surprises. The grounds were clean with many things to do with kids and/or adult family and friends. Lassen NP was very close, as was the subway cave that we visited. We are looking forward to coming back!

The Shingletown KOA is our favorite annual kamping spot. It is beautiful, quiet, the staff is friendly and helpful. One of my favorite things to do is stroll around the back forested area every evening

Doug and the crew were amazing! We are first time RVers and using our new trailer for our maiden voyage and they were all VERY helpful and understanding. The pancake breakfast and ice cream socials were a delight! Nice touch. Thanks for everything! We’ll be back!!

This fantastic team was incredibly interactive and helpful! The park was exceptionally clean and well-maintained. The playground, pool, K9 walking path, and run areas were all in excellent condition.

We loved everything, from the moment we got there to the moment we left. We loved to see how they cared for the grounds and how they went out of their way to make it special for everyone. The grounds are really well looked after. The yellow jackets and bees were a lot to handle with littles running around but the staff helped quickly. Our kids loved it so much, we all cried when we had to leave.

It was OK but being right on Hwy 44 the traffic noise was very loud. When I checked in you were glad to take my money but wouldn’t allow me to take my spot until 3pm. If I’d have known you had such a late check in I would have never stayed because of a previous scheduled obligation. When parking trailer they told me to enter the opposite direction I should have, disaster! Very disappointing.

We had a great time at the KOA in Shingletown, the accommodations were excellent and the staff was so friendly and welcoming! What a great location next to the Park. Definitely would love to stay there and visit again!!

Loved the pool and playground. Also appreciated the pancake breakfast on Saturday morning. Pretty location and perfect for visit to Lassen.

I had a relaxing stay at the KOA. Very friendly welcome and super clean facilities! The little store is well stocked and open at convenient hours. The entire KOA staff seemed to enjoy their work and it shows. Will definitely come back!!!

This was an amazing stop on our trip. The staff was so friendly and kind. Tim and Patti made us feel so at home. The sites are spacious and have trees for shade. the grounds were very well kept. There are plenty of activities for kids. We will definitely be back. I highly recommend this campground.

Such a beautiful atmosphere made even better by the wonderful staff, immaculate grounds and many, many activities for the family. We’ve visited three times now and will be back.

Super nice staff and the campground is kept up beautifully! It is actually huge as we walked around our last day. When we arrived it was 100 degrees so we were able to enjoy the pool, all by ourself. Our Site was a corner and it was perfect for no afternoon sun. Thanks for a great stay - we can highly recommend this campground! #wtg

We only stayed overnight; however we were very pleased with our stay. Quiet and well maintained KOA RV Park. It is well located for Lassen Volcanic National Park. Thanks for a pleasant stay.

This KOA is amazing. The staff is super friendly and helpful. The campground is clean, easy to navigate and has lots of things to do for both kids and adults. I would definitely recommend this KOA to anyone.

This was our first stay at a KOA and it was not what we were hoping for. Our campsite was very small and incredibly close to our neighbors, their motion sensor light as well as several barking dogs kept us up throughout the night. We had purchased firewood with our registration and it wasn’t at the campsite when we arrived, and we arrived too late to find it. We just found KOA is not for us.

Very nice staff, clean well maintained. And like to give a shout out to Tim on the staff. As I was having to change a flat tire on our trailer, we help me find some tools that I was missing. Very helpful. Thanks.

Park was clean and had lots to do for kids. Pool, playground, walking trail, tree swings, basketball and more. Ice cream social was so cute and all the employees were ridiculously friendly and knowledgeable about the area. Store was stocked with the basics and souvenirs. Check in/out was super fast and easy. Cabins were clean and set up nicely. Can't wait to come back!

We had a wonderful time. I was so impressed by everything they had to do and how everything was so kid friendly. My kids loved the swings and the tetherball. We loved our site at site 8. It was right by the store/office but it was never loud or annoying. The playground was close by and everything felt so safe.

I've been traveling across the country alone staying at koa. This is by far the best one that I've been to. It was extremely clean, friendly and safe. I will definitely be back. Thank you for your obvious care of your campers and facilities

We’ve been to Shingletown KOA several times & love everything they have to offer. They have always been so accommodating, however this time we were told to drive down to the rest stop & wait because the site wasn’t ready. Normally an early check in (1pm) is no big deal even if there is a fee, I’m willing to pay. But we were not given the option & we were turned away. That bummed us out big t

My decision to camp there mainly due to your location and availability of 30 & 50 amp hook up! So that I can charge up my Tesla in the night and explore the next day! To my dismay I was prohibited to use the outlets for charging in fear of a short circuit! For your information the cable has a control chip for only 50 max amp. Luckily I got to charge at the dedicated Tesla charger! Please improve.

We got in late,no problem for Tim, he's awesome,took us right to are site made change do to site T 14 Only a fence from the Trailer and fire .Not good site ,Check out the Ladies on staff we're great. This is very nice lots of kids.And things for kid's to do.

Beautiful location. The cabins are nice and clean. Wonderful staff members. Cabins book out fast. Make sure to book ahead on the website in advance.

"Quiet location with plenty of shady spots. Great variety of activities for kids — table tennis, cornhole, baseball, basketball, and huge swings. Clean, well-maintained restrooms, including accessible facilities. Covered outdoor area with patio heaters and a gas grill."

I didn't actually stay here. I did go check it out with a friend who already had a future reservation. Our encounter with the office staff was friendly and informative. They have a cute little store to pick up some fun souvenirs and bare necessities. ( Ice Cream!)The grounds keeper led us to the site my friend had reserved and pointed out all the amenities. We wandered around for a bit and were very pleased with what we saw. The grounds are nestled among tall pines, there's a heated swimming pool, dog park, volleyball court, and a place to shoot baskets, and get this...Tether ball! Lots of space for kids to explore and have a great time. I'm looking forward to booking a spot for my family soon!
