my family has a reunion every 2 years, staying at your KOA .Always enjoyable until booted out before fire approached. Staff was very kind and efficient during our evacuation. Helpful too in trying to find space for 40 family members. Thanks for the short stay.

Park fire shortened our stay but the couple days we were there were great. and when we had to leave, they had our refund to us the very next day. great place to stay

Park was very clean and well maintained. Staff was incredibly nice. We left a day early due to wildfire and but hope to be back soon. Wishing this park and staff safety!

This would be our third or fourth family reunion we have held at this KOA. It's a wonderful place and the people are fantastic. Sadly we did not get to stay very long this time because we were evacuated due to the Park fire in Chico, California. The park was more than generous and helping sort everything out since no one could stay. They're an awesome group of people and I hope everything is good

My family plans a family reunion at the KOA, every 2 years, As always, the amenities are spot on, and the staff is very knoweledgeable, THIS year was especially terrific, as the staff came by while the family was making their annual communal dinner get together, and told us YOU MUST PREPARE TO EVACUATE DUE TO A FIRE COMING OUR WAY. Very friendly staff, the park and restrooms were very clean. Our stay was cut short due to the park fire we had to evacuate three days before our planned departure, but the staff did issue a refund and were very professional and calm in the evacuation process ... Thank you!! This is one of the best KOA's we have stayed at and plan on coming back.

I left the morning that you had to evacuate. Your camp is one of my favorite places. I am so worried about the koa and hope it will be ok with the fire. I am so sorry you have to go through this. Shingletown is a beautiful place. My whole family is praying for you.

Unfortunately, we were evacuated the second day into our 3 night stay due to fire danger. However, we were thrilled with the ability to contact a live person when making our reservations earlier in the year and the staff was welcoming and very friendly upon arrival! the restrooms were clean and immaculately kept that way!! We hope we can come back again next year!!

Super clean and well maintained. RV spots had plenty of room. Perfect spot to camp to visit Lassen national park. The pool is plus in the summer heat and wifi is OUTSTANDING!

Our stay here was wonderful. Spacious and well shaded tent site. The bathrooms were clean and well cared for. Staff were friendly and helpful beyond what is expected. Much to do here. Proximity to Lassen is good.

We have been coming here for years. Great KOA! The only room for improvement I saw was the pool. It was very cloudy…couldn’t see the bottom.

The sites are big and spacious and have privacy which is nice! The back area with the pump track and activities for the kids was amazing and unexpected! The pool was a bit green but started to clear up once the head guy started working on it. Will def stay again!

We have been coming to this KOA for over 10 years. It is not what it used to be at all since the new owners took over. We were so happy to see Doug on Sunday but it is not what it used to be. Unfortunately, we will not be returning next year for our multi-family camping trip. Pool was green, no staff interaction, women's bathroom was always out of TP. It's the little things.

General cleanliness and preparedness has markedly declined. Tp and soap not stocked in bathrooms. Pool green and had lots of hair floating.

Pool was not maintained … gross green color. Staff did shut it down after 2 days to clean it. Park is starting to slide in rating as grounds are not as cared for as they were in the past. Staff just isn’t as welcoming as in the past.

We will be back for sure my family and I had a wonderful time, and the staff was absolutely amazing we can’t wait to get back there the grounds were absolutely beautiful and maintained beautiful and the pool area was nice and clean and your location is perfectly located and close to the Mt Lassen National park. And the rest rooms and shower areas were nice and clean. Road signs should be farther

We have been going to Mt Lassen KOA for over 7 years. The past 3 years we've been joined by our kids and grandkids. We all love this place! This is a wonderful place with so many family things to do: movie nights, ice cream social and pancake breakfast. Can't forget what we call the big swing. Always a big hit with our family. The setting is absolutely beautiful. Highly recommend this KOA!

The closeness to Lassen National Park is always a plus for our family. The KOA has friendly staff and guests. We always feel comfortable and safe. My husband couldn't make it so this was my first trip without him. Just me and the children, but because of the home feeling I get when coming to this KOA, I knew I would be fine. Thank you for a great trip!

Wow…I was amazed with the cleanliness and layout of the KOA. Beautiful can’t describe it. I must mention the customer service was an A+++. I only wish I could have stayed longer!

We come back every year. Already have our reservation for 2025. I do think a small divider fence blocking the septic area would be beneficial. We were in space 4 but space 5 had their chairs just feet from our septic. A small divider fence would have been nice for them. We love staying with you. Doug is awesome! Gina is awesome. Everyone is fantastic.

It feels like some rv sites were crammed together to make room for as many as possible. However the other amenities make up for it! My kids want to come back for the bike track!

I will have to say, this is such a wonderful, very clean, staff friendly KOA. We will definitely be returning. We had space 21. Mt. Lassen is approximately 15 minutes away. They had a small store at the KOA and appox a mile down the road was a Dollar General and 2 grocery stores. We used their clean laundry facility and they had clean showers and bathrooms which we did not use but looked at.

Top notch! The campground gets an A+ for cleanliness and kid friendly amenities. There are a lot of fun spaces to explore for both the kids and adults. The staff went out of their way to ensure our stay was an excellent one!

We liked our cabin, and the campground was well run. The woodsy area was very nice. It would be good if you had bear-proof garbage cans.

One of the nicest KOA campgrounds I have stayed at. Very well kept up with a myriad of activities geared towards families and large groups. It is situated in a beautiful forest of conifers. The parking spots are gravel and mine was level. The hookup worked fine. I used the bath, laundry facilities, and pool - all very nice. It's a short drive to the Lassen Volcanic National Park entrance. Highly recommended for a visit to this beautiful park.

This is one of the nicest KOA's that I have been to. A group of 13 of us were spread across three campsites and a cabin. It worked out wonderfully for all of our needs. We had mainly teens with us and the campground kept them busy when we weren't exploring Lassen National Park. They swam in the heated pool, played basketball and tetherball, and ventured around the back area behind our tents to play on the swings. At night, we went on the flashlight walk looking for the glow in the dark eyes in the trees. If you are tent camping with a group, I highly recommend booking Tent Site 9 and 10 because they are huge and allow room to roam. This KOA is also a few miles from Lassen National Park and also a short drive to Shingletown if you need something. This was a very convenient location for us! There is a wonderful man who was very helpful to all of us during our time there. I wish I caught his name but he even brought us some Sis-Q-Logs so we can have a campfire. The cons are small - the bathrooms and showers are quite a trek from the tent sites. I got lost at night and ended up in someone else's camping spot and had to walk around to find it. There is one dishwashing station but this is also at the front of the KOA so it's a trek. We cooked every meal for 13 people for four days and nights so we all had to walk our dishes up front to wash. Not a big deal but we wish we would have brought our own dishwashing station. Heads up, there is no real wood allowed to be burned here. You must purchase Sis-Q-Logs from their KOA store. It was fine with us, it smells and looks like real campfire and we think it even burned longer so that was a plus. Also, there is no ban on electric bikes or dirt bikes here so there were a few kids in the campground zipping around and kicking up dirt everywhere. Not terrible but kind of annoying when we were cooking. Outside of these small things, this is one of the best KOA's I've been to and stayed at. We loved it!

Lots of family activities and things to do. Great access to Lassen National Park. Facilities and customer service were great. Enjoyed our pancake breakfast as well. Thanks for a great stay.
