Great staff. Very good facilities and you can see improvements they’ve made. Felt very welcome. Only KOA we’ve been treated as a welcome guest and not a necessary pest.

The Mt. Lassen KOA is wonderful! Why? The staff is amazing. They are top notch, and they are there to support all the campers. Also, they are very knowledgeable about the Lassen area. Thank you, Doug, Tim, Bill, Sherri, Donna, Robin, Patti, Tanner, Gina and Abby. You were all very helpful. We’ll be back. The campground is clean and beautifully maintained.

The staff is so congenital and helpful, more than any other KOA we have stayed at. The campground is always so clean and welcoming you can't help but want to return. One of our favorite places to camp.

Love this campground. Been here many times. The sites are large and set up in all sorts of directions instead of one single line. The rates have gone up considerably over the years, but there are lots of activities to keep the kids busy: basketball hoop, teetherball, bikes to rent, walking trail, bird-watching area. All in a beautiful setting.

Always a great stay! Things the best KOA I've ever been to. Staff is friendly and they obviously love their jobs. The store is well stocked with great gift ideas and souvenirs.

Every year we stay here for our Lance Rally. Nice park and friendly staff. Restrooms always clean except when they had lots of tenters!

Although, we only stayed 1 night on our way home from Oregon, it was a lovely stay. Really enjoyed all the beautiful trees, the pool and loved our site. The husband and I are planning on returning to stay longer than 1 night. :)

No handicap showers. Nice campground. Shower by pool are tiny. Stairs are steep, hard for seniors to climb.

Stayed in the 2-bedroom lodge cabin. It was perfect as our home base for exploring Lassen Park. We had everything we needed. The staff was very friendly and helpful. We would definitely stay here again if we were in the area.

A beautiful facility with large trees and spacious grounds, with volleyball, horseshoes, etc. Very friendly staff.

The Mt. Lassen KOA has friendly helpful staff, the campground is well maintained and clean. I loved the extra touches such as the twinkling lights in the tall trees at the front. I would stay here again.

As a tent camper I felt scared the first night because I was woken during the night by animals who pulled trash cans out from a holder across from my tent. Next day I found out that this is a common!! occurrence from a neighbors dogs. Same the next night. Sleepless! Should have had locking garbage cans anyways in bear country. Friendly maintenance staff picking up the scattered trash

Fantastic time with family and annual catch up with camping friends! Great activities for family including free pancake breakfast, bingo, giant bubble machine and ice cream social. Great wifi too. Facilities are well maintained and clean and staff is super friendly. Don't miss this KOA GEM!!! Close to Mt. Lassen and Burney Falls.

A sweet little KOA! We love everything about it. So many little spots for the kids to explore and play in the woods behind the park. Nice sites. We were in a RV spot but the tent spots looked great too!

Good site. No sewer hookup even though made reservations in the beginning of Feb 2024. Site was not level. No grass for the fur babies. Grocery items very limited no soup or seasoning. Get in and out easily for our next leg of the trip.

Nice experience. Friendly staff. It was great for the dogs. We took several walks on the property. My dogs are 'city's dogs. It was nice to see them enjoying the wooded areas. The premium site offered comfort and a small private wooded yard with a concrete pad and patio furniture. It was well designed for my needs.

Very nicely maintained campground. Great staff. Very quiet and nicely wooded area. Off busy road but set back enough so you don't hear traffic. Clean restrooms and showers. Highly recommend!

Excellent stay with wonderful customer service and hospitality. Everything was clean and the location is beautiful. One of the best we’ve visited! Special shout out to Tanner who was working on his birthday and took good care of us. Thank you!

One of the best KOAs we have stayed at. A natural forest setting. Very well laid out to maximize privacy. Most staff very friendly and helpful. Nice amenities for all. Exceptional for small to medium RVs. Unfortunately, VERY tight for BIG RIGS. Would probably be one of our most favorite parks if we still had a smaller RV.

The Shingletown KOA is our kids' favorite place to stay. The staff are super friendly and helpful, the grounds are well-kept and cleaned, and the activities are so much fun. Our kids especially love the tree swings and the playground. We really enjoyed our stay and look forward to coming again next summer!

One of the nicest KOA campgrounds I have stayed at. Very well kept up with a myriad of activities geared towards families and large groups. It is situated in a beautiful forest of conifers. The parking spots are gravel and mine was level. The hookup worked fine. I used the bath, laundry facilities, and pool - all very nice. It's a short drive to the Lassen Volcanic National Park entrance. Highly recommended for a visit to this beautiful park.

This is one of the nicest KOA's that I have been to. A group of 13 of us were spread across three campsites and a cabin. It worked out wonderfully for all of our needs. We had mainly teens with us and the campground kept them busy when we weren't exploring Lassen National Park. They swam in the heated pool, played basketball and tetherball, and ventured around the back area behind our tents to play on the swings. At night, we went on the flashlight walk looking for the glow in the dark eyes in the trees. If you are tent camping with a group, I highly recommend booking Tent Site 9 and 10 because they are huge and allow room to roam. This KOA is also a few miles from Lassen National Park and also a short drive to Shingletown if you need something. This was a very convenient location for us! There is a wonderful man who was very helpful to all of us during our time there. I wish I caught his name but he even brought us some Sis-Q-Logs so we can have a campfire. The cons are small - the bathrooms and showers are quite a trek from the tent sites. I got lost at night and ended up in someone else's camping spot and had to walk around to find it. There is one dishwashing station but this is also at the front of the KOA so it's a trek. We cooked every meal for 13 people for four days and nights so we all had to walk our dishes up front to wash. Not a big deal but we wish we would have brought our own dishwashing station. Heads up, there is no real wood allowed to be burned here. You must purchase Sis-Q-Logs from their KOA store. It was fine with us, it smells and looks like real campfire and we think it even burned longer so that was a plus. Also, there is no ban on electric bikes or dirt bikes here so there were a few kids in the campground zipping around and kicking up dirt everywhere. Not terrible but kind of annoying when we were cooking. Outside of these small things, this is one of the best KOA's I've been to and stayed at. We loved it!

Lots of family activities and things to do. Great access to Lassen National Park. Facilities and customer service were great. Enjoyed our pancake breakfast as well. Thanks for a great stay.
