Inspite of being on the highway park is quiet. We had a nice long site with table and fire pit. Good wifi and really good water pressure.

It was super clean and well taken care of. We started our stay on a weekday and the KOA was almost empty. We had the place to ourself. We stayed through a Friday evening and the movie night and Saturday pancakes were both fun. Our kids loved it and found lots of new friends.

I had a wonderful stay and will definitely come back. The campground is beautiful, clean and full of amenities. My tent site was large, flat and easily accessible. The tent sites are definitely not an afterthought. I highly recommend this facility and live that it's less than 15 minutes from the park entrance. Thank you to all of the wonderful staff for a great vacation!!

Absolutely wonderful stay at KOA Shingletown. Very close to the NP, which was our primary reason for picking this spot. The grounds were inviting, clean, and organized. So many things to keep kids busy. Showers were clean and hot. Fun special acrivities most days of the week and staff was both friendly and helpful. Wish all KOAs were just like this!

The staff was very friendly and reached out to see if you needed anything. Beautiful park. We did not use any amenities, but if you had children there was plenty to do.

We had a wonderful stay and were sad to leave a day early! The sites are roomy and quite private. We loved the patio site and feel the extra cost was worth it. The amenities and staff are great. Wish all KOA s are like yours! We'll be back.

Lovely spot. A smaller KOA but offers a lot. We stayed with our granddaughter and she had so much fun with tether ball, the swings hung from tall trees, bucket golf, and the pool. Explored Subway Caves and Lassen Park. The park is super clean. Will definitely be back!

Amazing campground close to a lot of must see places and it’s kids and pet friendly which is a plus and the bathrooms were always clean!!! The staff were super sweet and helpful. We will definitely be back again!

These sites are huge! Privacy fence, sunken fire pit, shade, and a huge park with lots of walking trails! This park is conveniently located near the Lassen volcano park entrance - making for a great staging area. As a plus- pioneer hills pizza (just down the road) makes one of the best pizzas we have had!

We come here once a year just to enjoy the playgrounds, pool, and all the cool things here. Our first time in a lodge. It was great. Mom wants to stay on lodge from now on and my son and I prefer the camper. Maybe next year we will do both.

This place is awesome. Very kid. Friendly park was clean all of the workers. There were very very friendly. Can’t wait to go back.

Had the best time here. Went to the base of Cinder Cone and then did scenic drive. Laundry the next day. Staff was super nice and the dogs loved the park! One of my dogs dragged me to the park as often as she could. Best campsite so far this year! We’ll have done 34 campsites by end of summer.

First time at this KOA site. Tim was very helpful and friendly made us feel at home. Very quiet place and lots of shade. My kids enjoyed the pool, the play ground and the volleyball court. Also the place was very clean.

Loved all the pine trees and the relaxing atmosphere. I would have given you a rating of 5 but I missed not having a spa. That being said, the Internet was excellent and there were enough tv channels available with a plain old antenna to keep my partner happy. A very clean rv park.

What a great place to stay!! From the minute we entered the RV park we were greeted kindly. The sites are maintained very nicely. The activities around the campground were so fun. The grounds were impeccable. We had a spot with the patio and the grill was clean and ready to go. Doug was engaging and gave us great tips while visiting Mt. Lassen National Park. Highly recommend.

Stayed 2 nights with a week between. Both pull through so didn't have to unhook toad. No complaints with either spot. Tall trees provide cool shade after hot drive down I-5 . Quiet and clean area. 2nd night had some rowdy tenters that quieted about 11 PM . Maybe someone called manager ? But overall great place to stay .

Very nice. Beautiful place, attentive staff. The bath rooms by the pool could use some attention, the floors needed sweeping and the hand soap was empty, otherwise they were clean.

Very nice campground. Lots of things for kids to do. Well designed for privacy, polite staff who stay out of the way with clean bathrooms and park in general. Best KOA we've stayed at.

Beautiful location. The cabins are nice and clean. Wonderful staff members. Cabins book out fast. Make sure to book ahead on the website in advance.

"Quiet location with plenty of shady spots. Great variety of activities for kids — table tennis, cornhole, baseball, basketball, and huge swings. Clean, well-maintained restrooms, including accessible facilities. Covered outdoor area with patio heaters and a gas grill."

I didn't actually stay here. I did go check it out with a friend who already had a future reservation. Our encounter with the office staff was friendly and informative. They have a cute little store to pick up some fun souvenirs and bare necessities. ( Ice Cream!)The grounds keeper led us to the site my friend had reserved and pointed out all the amenities. We wandered around for a bit and were very pleased with what we saw. The grounds are nestled among tall pines, there's a heated swimming pool, dog park, volleyball court, and a place to shoot baskets, and get this...Tether ball! Lots of space for kids to explore and have a great time. I'm looking forward to booking a spot for my family soon!
