Wonderful staff. Wish the tent sites by water had more shade. Bathhouse could use some buddy benches outside and maybe now that it’s warmer knock the AC down a few degrees. :)

We stay at the Mountainside KOA every other year on a high school science trip to the Yellowstone National Park. We love the facilities and the proximity to the park. The campground hosts do everything to ensure we have an enjoyable stay.

We were pleased with the quietness of the park’s location. It was beautiful, clean, and had excellent bathrooms. There were quite a few mature trees which gave ample shade.

Was able to move our tent site, thanks to a terrific office staff that took the time to help us move, to a more useful site for our purpose. The sound of the creek was easy to fall asleep to.

Great staff- hospitable and amazing! Restrooms could use more consistent attention and the dryers claim they give 10 min dryer per .25 but in reality it's set to 5 minutes.

Proximity to Yellowstone is good. Love the individual shower, toilet and sink combination. The shower was nice and warm. The outside dishwashing station was a welcome sight. Great to have hot water!

Restroom with shower and outside very clean. Front desk friendly and others employee staff. There should be sign posted where the tent and RV location at front entrance of road way.

The staff were great, from the front desk to the folks tending to the grounds! The sites seemed well taken care of and the showers were clean..and hot. The store was stocked with just the right things you never knew you needed and plenty that you will. We would stay here again and recommend it for anyone needing a place close to YNP West entrance or just passing through.

Loved the shower house, swings at each site and the guide to help us find the tent site. Staff was friendly and very on top of cleaning

Started off rough. While our tent site was inches from a cute little brook it was covered in goose poop. When my husband called to complain (after I spent 15 min trying to pick up the poop), person at the desk told him sites were groomed daily. Very obviously not the case. She said she would send someone to rake the site. We waited and waited. She finally called and moved us to another site.

The basic tent site has a picnic table and campfire ring. We set up tents, used the shower facility and had a pleasant night. The restroom/shower building was clean and well maintained. It rained all night, at times very heavy, but our tents kept us cozy and dry. The staff was pleasant and nice to interact with. I will stay there when I return in the future. Keep up the great work.

People working there were super. Unfortunately, I was camped next to a group of giggling girls who didn't understand what quite time was. The weather was very cold and rainy which made it a little rough. Got down to 38° at night. I felt that the cost of wood at $12.50 a bundle was a bit ridiculous.

I had a very nice campsite next to a stream that butted up to the Targhee national Forest. The site was clean and very peaceful. The restrooms were clean and with private showers. This is a very nice campground.

We stayed in a tent camping spot for 2 nights with electrical hook up. It was pleasant to be by the river which helped with the KOA park sounds all night when trying to sleep. Other nearby text spots are spaced well. The spot itself we had was perfect for the nights we stayed. Flat enough for our tent. The fire pit and picnic table was nice to have.

We used the site solely for camping and didn’t utilize any of the extra amenities, but it was a lovely site. Incredibly convenient to Yellowstone, lovely stream nearby, friendly staff. Great stay!

We loved the tent sites, so picturesque and clean. The bathrooms and showers were so clean and easily accessible. We loved the convenience of the little store on property. We also loved how close is was to the west entrance to Yellowstone. Just wish we could have stayed longer!

Very poor tent camp city, ugly, no water available near by. Rest rooms and shower were very good. Good store and food facility. Very good location. RV sites are good. Personnel were very friendly and helpful.

We loved this park! We had a tent spot that was next to the creek and got to fall asleep to the sound. The only negative thing was the ants and mosquitos but it's nature. Beautiful place, well maintained and very friendly staff. Great laundry facilities and bathroom and showers also!

The staff is great - friendly, welcoming and helpful. The campsite we had was located near a small river, which was nice. The picnic table should be refinished. The restroom facility was conveniently located. We feel the restrooms should have paper towels in them so that one can cleanup after previous campers. Also, larger waste cans and bathmats.

I have stayed at a whole bunch of KOA campgrounds over the years and on this trip. This one was by far,The worst KOA That I have ever been to…..No water. Available at any tent sites.At 3AM they let people come in and set up camp and they were loud and obnoxious shining lights at my tent and laughing….Awful experience…I was glad to leave there!

Great place for visiting Yellowstone. Campgrounds well maintained and large sites for Class A pulling toad. Staff was very polite and very helpful. Yes, will stay here again.

Friendly staff with useful information to share. Bathrooms and grounds were clean and well maintained. Individual bathrooms were great by providing more privacy. Sites were spacious, with some grass and tall trees (in the back of the campground). Sturdy tables, fire pits and bench swing at every site. Mostly quiet, with just a little traffic noise.
