Tours and Car Rentals

We can help you with these arrangements. Tours of Yellowstone will pick you up right at our front door or you can get a rental car delivered right to your campsite. Easy-peasy. Call us before you arrive at 406-646-7646.

Golf Cart Policy:

Golf carts are permitted to be driven by licensed drivers only and must be driven at a safe rate of speed.

Pet policy:

Traveling with your furry friend or fur baby? We have a Kamp K9 onsite so your fluffy friends can stretch their legs. Pets must be on a leash outside of the dog park, and we ask owners to clean up after their pets. Your pets hate it when you leave, so please don't leave them at your campsite unattended. Due to health and safety regulations, pets are not allowed in any buildings.

Vehicle and Visitor Policy

All visitors must register their vehicle and are permitted until Quiet Hours. Overnight guests need to register at the front desk.

Trash policy:

Please place bagged trash next to the road at your site by 11:00 am for pickup. Otherwise, dumpsters are located around the campground for your convenience.

Speed Limit:

The speed limit throughout the park is 5 MPH.

Laundry

Our laundry is open 24 hours a day but get your change in the office during regular hours.

Bears

We have bears in the area due to the nature of where we are located. We ask that you keep all food, trash, coolers, and grills inside your RV, cabin, or car whenever you are away from the campground and at night to keep them from wanting to come onto the campground. By following these rules you can help keep yourself and others safe. Thank you!

After Hours / Emergency Number:

If you arrive after the Registration Office has closed, there is a night registration box available with guest information and campground maps. If you have a life-threatening or safety emergency, please call 911.

Meet Your Hosts

Fred and Mary

Welcome to West Yellowstone!

Fred Stott and his fiancée Mary have been with KOA for more than ten years. An experienced manager with an appreciation for the outdoors, Fred has led operations at Nashville KOA Resort, Angola/Hogback Lake KOA Holiday, Santa Cruz/Monterey Bay KOA Holiday and Thompson/Grand River KOA Holiday. In 2023, he became the General Manager of Yellowstone Park/West Gate KOA Holiday and Yellowstone Park/Mountainside KOA Journey, the perfect base camps for visiting Yellowstone National Park. In their spare time, Fred and Mary (and their two dogs) love to hike, kayak, sit around the campfire and explore the great outdoors. If you see Fred or Mary around camp, be sure to say hello!
