The campground was fine. It was close to West Yellowstone. The bathrooms smelled, and the showers were not always clean. The store was greatly overpriced ($12.50 for wood and $5 for a small bag of ice.) There wasn’t a pool or any extra amenities or activities that many other campgrounds offer.

Overall the park is clean and well maintained. A few issues that we saw are as follows: in our site as well as several others the sewer inlet was too high so I was unable to able to drain my tanks. Both corn hole games were falling apart and should be repaired. The dog park was great as was showers and bathroom. The park needs a pool to compete with other campgrounds in the area

Wonderful site with wonderful staff willing to help and friendly. Just 15 minutes from Yellowstone entrance with a beautiful campsite.

This is a lovely peaceful campground. My only issue is that the toilets in the laundry room were not clean. Also I’m glad that I washed down the laundry folding table because it took several sanitizer wipes to get it clean.

Nice, friendly but was discouraged. The store staff suggested to not be outside in the evening because a grizzly and black bear were in the campground the prior week. Unable to enjoy campfires.

Loved the RV park. Beautiful property and views. Only problem, and it was kind of a big problem was the sewer hook-up at my campsite and my friends. Both of our sites sewer drain pipe was higher than our trailers, making it extremely difficult to drain the black tank.

This was a beautiful park with plenty to do. Everyone was very friendly and helpful during our stay. The pizza was delicious and saved us from having to cook on the day we arrived. Forest service land adjacent to the park with a creek that our GSD enjoyed playing in. Looking to go back again next year and stay for a week.

What an amazing park! Super friendly staff, perfect location (5min from West Yellowstone) and beautiful location. Every Tues, Wed and Thur they have a community s’more night free, which our kids loved. So did we � Highly recommend!

Camper pad lower than the sewer drain making it difficult to drain. Multiple washers out of order and didn’t seem to be enough for large campground. Everyone very helpful

Very nice facility large sites and super cleaner bath houses. Close enough to Yellowstone but not to close so you don’t have town sounds. Views of the mountains super nice. Would definitely stay again.

Great stay, but very pricey. I’d stay here again though. Super clean place, and very safe. S’mores Tuesday-Thursday. Dog site has a ton of yard space, but a tiny fenced in area. Couldn’t even throw a ball for our dog. Wouldn’t recommend that site.

This park is just far enough away from town to be quiet and scenic, but close enough to still be convenient. The views here and the lovely stream running through the park set this campground a part from its local competition.

Park was nice but very dusty. We stayed at a patio site which faced mostly west and baked outside in the afternoons. Wish those sites faced a little bit more east Without any shade it’s hot out there. Very expensive for hot and dusty. Staff was wonderful and very friendly. Did not use any facilities.

This is our second stay at Mountainside. We really enjoy the park and the staff. We especially like the site delivery of their delicious pizza! Located only miles from Yellowstone Park, it is a great location. We love it here. We will be back.

Nice campground , not super busy or the golf cart stuff so it felt like you were in the outdoors. The bathrooms were clean, staff were kind and helpful , the sites were level and clean, I would return to this KOA again. The only downside were the barking dogs, the same dogs and no one seem to address the issue , that's why my overall ratings were lower

Stayed a total of 11 nights and had a very nice stay. The weather seemed to cooperate although it could get quite breezy & couldn't use the awning much and in the afternoon the camper faced west, but it is not a KOA issue. The grounds were clean and well maintained we thought. Road noise was mild; location is about 7 miles from West Yellowstone. Dump drops were a bit high above ground I thought.

This is the 1st time at a KOA campground. Honestly we have shyed away from them as they seemed to us to look like no more than parking lots! This campground was soooo beautiful and placed us so close to the park. The price was higher than we have ever paid to camp, but the proximity to the park, amenities and Kathy at the front desk made it all worth it!

Great place for visiting Yellowstone. Campgrounds well maintained and large sites for Class A pulling toad. Staff was very polite and very helpful. Yes, will stay here again.

Friendly staff with useful information to share. Bathrooms and grounds were clean and well maintained. Individual bathrooms were great by providing more privacy. Sites were spacious, with some grass and tall trees (in the back of the campground). Sturdy tables, fire pits and bench swing at every site. Mostly quiet, with just a little traffic noise.
