Great place to stay and visit Yellowstone. The spot we stayed in was large and level. We had the paw pen which was nice but with the largest and best dog park we have ever seen we didn’t use it. The staff and nice, friendly and very helpful. We would stay here again.

It was nice and quiet, good friendly people. The only drawback is the west entrance to the park is always jammed with traffic.

This is a nice RV resort not a campground. I had a camper wanting to burn a fire in a ring 10’ from my RV. Terrible smoke and real fire hazard with sparks landing on my roof. I hope they didn’t burn my roof. Should be NO fires in an RV park.

It was our 4th stay at Mountainside and we would visit again if we get out west. I love your individual style of bathroom, much more like home. Pizza was great, staff very helpful and pleasant. Sites are large and level, area is quiet and clean. Thank you.

We liked this KOA - It is very close to the West Gate Entrance to Yellowstone National Park, s only 8 plus/minus miles from our campground. A perfect basecamp . We originally booked for four nights, but we ended up having to change our plans and needed to add an additional night at last minute - no problem able to stay in same campsite - 5th night ended up being more than free due to a deal!

My wife and I wanted to stay an entire week and see Yellowstone National Park. This KOA was great. The grounds are nice, the store was great. The site was in perfect condition. The laundry was very nice. The whole week, everyone at the campground was nice. The staff and the guests. We will be back.

We stayed for 3 nights so we could spend 2 full days in Yellowstone touring the upper and lower loops, one day each. The park is convenient to the west entrance of Yellowstone. We had lovely campsites with a view of the mountains and a nearby stream at the back of the property. The campground was well maintained; the staff was competent and friendly. Bathrooms were Buccee's quality!

We enjoyed our stay. It would be nice to have a little more grass around the sites, but the dog park was very nice so not that huge of a deal. The staff were all very friendly and helpful.

Expensive with minimum amenities. But proximity to the national park and room for what we were driving/towing won out. I’ve been at nicer KOA’S but staff was friendly and helpful.

We enjoyed the stay at Yellowstone Park/Mountain KOA The bathrooms were clean and nice - a lot of space also to put shower stuff. One hint: there are naughty raccoons stealing shoes, towels and stuff left out during night. :-D

Stayed for 5 nights 9/1/25 - 9/6/25, site #121. Great Starlink connection. Clean campground and buildings. Utilized the showerhouse, laundry, store, gem mining, and dog park. Friendly staff.

We had a good time there. Plenty to do in the area. Clean facilities and well maintained. We didn’t appreciate having to pay 12.50 for a bundle of firewood after we saw that the local stores and vendors were charging 5 bucks for the same thing.

The site was nice very few amenities. Could not even get the pizza I wanted because it shut down two days earlier. Price gouging convenience store, total disarray at check-in (waited for our escort to find out how-to get to our EXPENXIVE patio site. Just a bad mistake on my part.

Spent a longer stay than planned due to the discount available. The camp was very well maintained and the staff was very friendly. the only issue was the weather which had nothing to due with the park.

Huge dog park. Only a few minutes from town and a few more to the west gate of Yellowstone. Had to change dates of stay due to truck problem. Staff was so helpful and courteous with the change and anything else we needed. Nice evening views of the mountains near by.

Great place for visiting Yellowstone. Campgrounds well maintained and large sites for Class A pulling toad. Staff was very polite and very helpful. Yes, will stay here again.

Friendly staff with useful information to share. Bathrooms and grounds were clean and well maintained. Individual bathrooms were great by providing more privacy. Sites were spacious, with some grass and tall trees (in the back of the campground). Sturdy tables, fire pits and bench swing at every site. Mostly quiet, with just a little traffic noise.
