We weren’t able to complete our stay in Mackinaw due to hurricane Ian. We checked out less than 24 hours of our arrival because Ian changed course and made a direct hit on our home. I understand and agree with the 48 hour notice for canceling but in an emergency situation I feel an allowance could have been made. I’m very dissatisfied and disheartened with the lack of understanding and compass

Was always, superb handling of our Stay, the new, cemented Patio-Sites are super, and as usual, the Staff is very attentive and very accommodating. Excellent Communication between the Office and Us, on our Way to Mackinaw City KOA. Like before, a ‘Great Experience’, thank You, respectfully, Peter WERNER, M.D.

We had the absolute best time at your campgrounds! The cabin we had was perfect, as was the staff! The location was the best and the walking trail was a huge bonus! Thank you, we'll be back!

Fantastic people working there. Ken was extremely helpful. Stayed at site 78 and it was close to the other campsites.

Check-in was easy and our site was excellent. Our stay was only overnight on our way home from a longer vacation, but we would like to come back to stay longer in the future.

We had a wonderful time and everyone at this KOA was so friendly. It's our first time camping in the area so we would have enjoyed being on the water, but all in all we loved the site. Thank you, Andy and Leslie

1) Couldn't put awning out if we wanted to due to a tree that was 3' in front of the awning 2) site was supposed to be a pull through for a 60' combined length rig - barely made it. So much so that any other RV trying to make the turn (we were on the end) and get by us would probably not make it 3) We love being woken up by barking dogs at 7:45am on a Sunday morning. Total sarcasm there.

Great quiet campground, friendly staff and wonderful location to explore Mackinaw City and Mackinac Island. I had originally intended to spend one night and extended my stay to 2.

We stayed a week, and wished we could have stayed another. Location was close to everything, the shuttle service was wonderful to and from the campground. Staff was amazing, friendly, kind, and courteous. We look forward to coming back next fall. Thank you for the wonderful memories.

Was great as a base to visit and explore the Lake Michigan Straits area, including Mackinac Island. Have used this KOA several times.

Great place to stay! Have a 39 foot RV and this campground was very accommodating. Clean, friendly staff, and pet friendly.

Exceptional service, friendly...really felt like home! Even though we had our tent camper this trip, the price was very reasonable for our deluxe patio site! Looking forward to future visits!

They gave us a spot that was way too small for our motorhome and tow vehicle. We saw many other sites in that park that they could have put us in. We got no satellite reception and with me being handicapped that is a necessity. Very disappointed in this park.

This is without a doubt the best KOA we've stayed in. The grounds are very nice. The bike trail takes you directly to Mackinaw City. But the park staff really stood out. Everything at this KOA was excellently managed... from the check-in to getting ice or firewood delivered to our campsite. Really can't say enough about the employees at this site. We would definitely stay here again.

We needed help setting up our cable TV. Your guy came right over and solved our problem. Also it was convenient to be able to buy tickets for the ferry to Mackinac Island right in your office. You also called the shuttle to come there and pick us up!! Great Service all around.

Pleasantly surprised. Bathrooms and showers were very clean and in great condition. Cable worked well as did the WiFi. Desk folks all pleasant. Campground nice and quiet!

Very Clean place inviting atmosphere. The Only thing I did Not like was the Unisex Showers, I think they should put a Wall to divide the Men's from the Women's. I did not feel safe, I had my guy wait in the Men's bathroom while I showered. I know there were locks on the doors but still did not like it. Since I have been married and had children, I wanted to take my family camping, and we had a great time. I just hope they will remember going, I am sure they will ^^

I went here during the summer and it was great, the workers are very friendly and always trying to help. The bike path is very fun to ride on. The only problem I have is they don't want you to put anything up and I put up my portable hammock, and they said to take it down .

I have been to Mackinac City and Island a couple of times, and each time it was excellent experience! The moment you board the ferry to the island the journey to the past starts. It's just so peaceful and relaxing at the island without the noise and pollution of the motor vehicles. The fudge and speciality food on the island is a must have while there.
