Great overnight location if you are heading north or south on I-95. It is very close to the highway but traffic noise was barely noticeable. The bathroom shower facilities were very clean.

Very difficult to get to with construction going. No signs to 95 once I left campground. Need to either plant more trees or provide more shade for overnight sites. I roasted in the spring when I stopped. Also most expensive fee on whole 1500 mile trip.

First timer ring with my dog, he liked the k9 playgrounds, liked all the utilities right there, maintenance people very friendly. Will definitely be back in the spring to visit daughter again

This was our first stay at a KOA. Being close to the highway, it was a very noisy campground. Additionally, the power went out in the middle of the night. There is no direct number to call for situations like this. WIFI was fast, and the spots were clean.

Beautiful and clean campground and super friendly staff. We had a beautiful patio site. Would definitely stop here again. Only negative was the laundry prices were double most campgrounds.

Peaceful and there is a great little trail that runs behind the campground that is great to walk your dog. We stayed two nights and if we are passing through again, it will be one of our stops.

Easy check in. Park and restrooms are very clean. Pool was open and clean. We just stayed one night traveling to Myrtle Beach but campground was very nice.

Super clean and cutesy. The only drawback is the I-95 noise. Otherwise the sites are spacious and amenities are plentiful.

Very clean, very well kept. I loved the fresh bark and obvious care in placing flower pots for guests enjoyment. Also, the tables were all carefully painted with different colors. Very pleasant!

Always a good place to stay. Always clean grounds, rest rooms, laundry, etc. Very pleasant staff. The only drawback is the road noise from the interstate. I 95 literally runs alongside the park. Other than that, there are no complaints.

Hard to rate this one. If you’re looking for a great vacation spot no. This is meant to be a one or two not stay to rest and get back on the road hence JOURNEY. The park was clean and the staff were friendly. Other than 95 being RIGHT there I can’t complain. It fulfills its purpose for EXATLY what it’s designed to do. WIFI was great. Everything was good just not a “vacation” park. Would

The campground itself was decent, but there were a few frustrations during our stay. The internet was basically non-existent, which made it hard to stay connected. The roads leading to the campground were also in rough shape because of nearby construction, making the drive in a bit challenging. Staff were friendly and the area felt safe enough, but overall, it just didn’t meet expectations.

We have been using our Thousand Trails membership on our trip from PA to FL. Many of these campgrounds were run down and overcrowded. So, Lumberton KOA, THANK YOU! Three simple words a traveler wants to know are CLEAN, SPACIOUS and FRIENDLY.

Very large sites, lots of room between campers. All sites include picnic tables and firerings with two chairs. 40ft diesel pusher towing a 24ft car hauler

I cannot speak more highly of the staff at the Lumberton KOA. We were passing through the area and developed a problem with our vehicle and needed a place to stop for a couple of nights. Savannah was extremely helpful and went out of her way to get us setup while we waited for repairs on our truck. I would definitely stay here again. They are making all kinds of nice improvements to the campground and you can tell that the staff really cares about their customers.
