Even though they are a busy KOA, it really does feel like family. They helped out as much as possible with several campers trying to avoid the hurricane. Shout out to JERSEY! You are awesome!

Very nice campground! The power box breaker was broken and worker came right away. We had electricity within minutes. Staff was super nice.

I have truly enjoyed staying with you guys. I had the best neighbors that I have ever experienced in my life. The customer service was amazing on any issues that I had. Thank you to all the staff there that made my staff away from home more pleasant.

The site we had was not very level. The staff was very friendly and helpful. And there was lots of activity’s.

I would recommend this KOA over other parks in the Louisville area due to it's full service amenities and safe environment. Our first welcome from the front desk person was a bit "salty", as well as my repeat visit to the store. She needs a lesson in southern charm. The rest of the team, especially the maintenance guys work relentlessly to take of the grounds. The pool was lovely!!!

My Wife and I only stayed one night, while traveling to our destination. This campground was clean easy to locate and the RV space was spacious. My only complaint is all the RV lots were gravel and this makes it hard to level on a rainy day, other than that the Staff was friendly, very accommodating and I will definitely stay there again and recommend others to stay as well

Great stay. Clean and easy! Super cute campground, reminded me of ones I use to stay at as a kid…however, much upgraded play areas for kids (and adults)!

Disappointed in the campsite. Very costly per night. And our site had its table and fire pit across the road from us. The campsite itself was very narrow. Found our self almost walking off the edge into the next person‘s campsite often.

AMAZING! Every single person we encountered with KOA was amazing. From Service, to issues on our site and response time. Kate was awesome and so was Cindy. The service person for our site issue (don't know his name) we were site 288 on September 21st. He was there within minutes of us having an electrical issue to take care of it. Superb service. Very clean and organized. Great communication

Second time camping there. Always a good time. Only con is the wifi service are not very good. Lots of things to do for the kids. Very good service from staff.

We have stayed overnight at the KOA Louisville South during our yearly vacation trip now for 3 years! Awesome location, many things to do inside the camp site, very clean, staff are extremely friendly. They have a few designated Pet sites we love to stay at. Our dogs get to run around in a private & secured play area next to our RV spot, they enjoy playing without any other dogs around!!

The campground is pretty crowded with little space between rigs. The nearby airport is an almost constant source of noise until late into the evening. The WiFi is very weak and inconsistent. Free cover in some spots is nice but the squirrels will bombard your rig with acorns in the fall.

We made reservations 6 months ago They stuck us on an end spot where all the traffic goes in and out very noisy extremely dissatisfied with this visit I feel we could have been given a much better site for our 4 day visit

We made our reservation 6 months in advance and ended up with a tiny site barely big enough for our 22 ft camper and truck. We were 5 ft away from the next camper. Very disappointed w site. Amenities were good. Laundry facility clean and accessible 24 hrs. Staff friendly.

Very nice campsite and very friendly and responsive staff. This location is on the airport flight path and UPS planes fly overhead until 2 a.m. (just ask my wife). �

We just did an overnighter stay, but used the pool (which was refreshing & clean) & the laundry (which worked well & was clean too). Well kept up facility! As our space was on the hill entering the grounds, it was noisy & not level but everything worked just fine.

We stayed a night while on our way from an extended trip. Nice facility and friendly staff. Will come back as it is abt 3 hours from home.

We had a pull through spot, FHU. On upper loop of campground,272. Spots are very close together, we could not put out awnings if someone was next to us. Picnic bench and firepit across a road from spot, weird setup. Did use the pool, very nice. Has lots to do for children, nice playground, etc. Nice looking campground. Would stay again, in a different spot EXCEPT the air traffic over the area!!

One of the highlights was the awesome food truck. They not only served great food but they both had an awesome personality. We ate at the food truck two times during our stay. We both thought your campsite was very nice. All in all we give it five stars.

Warm welcome at check-in. Park appeared clean and maintained. Peaceful location. Nick went above and beyond to help us with a small special request, that could have easily been ignored. Loved the walking trails with our pets. Repeat destination.

The campground was incrediby beautiful with exceptionally clean sites. The amenities, especially those for kids, were wonderful. The staff were very friendly and super helpful. I appreciated the daily texts and reminders about firewood, ice, trash pick up, rentals and store closings. We will definitely be back!

Our stay was short but great! The lady's that run the activities are literally the best. There is nothing but kind words for them. The grounds were nice. The giant chess/checkers were a big hit with our family. The store was nicely stocked with everything you could need.

We could not have picked a better campground for a 3.5 and 7 year old boy. They played hours at the playground, after a big day at the Louisville Zoo. We were welcomed with warm chocolate chip cookies and had delicious cool lemon water as a refreshment beverage. Bath houses were spotless. Campground was quiet and very clean! Trash pick up in the morning was a nice bonus. The boys played giant chess, bounced on the bounce pad, swung on the zip line. We stayed 2 nights and wanted to stay longer. They have a gorgeous pool on site, regretfully it was too cold for swimming in April 2025. Thank you for an amazing vacation for my dear friend and her “littles”. The site was level and I was led to my site by an employee who helped me back into my full hook up site. The fee was reasonable for the services provided. I encourage anyone to come and stay at the South Louisville KOA. They had cute cabins if you don't have an RV 🥰
