Not bad in a pinch. If only the property were as nice as the staff (they were great). Gravel roads and a residential section for a premium price just doesn't compute. Also, being surrounded by apartments and a neighbor with no security to the park is a turn off. This will be our last visit to the KOA Louisville south. Again, the staff were great!

Very friendly and helpful staff. Great hiking trail. Fun activities for kids. Shower tile grout was black and needs professional cleaning or renovation.

All of the staff was friendly, helpful, and accommodating. We enjoyed the campground very much, thought the facilities were very well tended, and will come again.

The location is fairly convenient, but we thought the price was a little high. Also, the signage in the park was minimal. It would not hurt to have signs pointing to exits. And… The day we were there they were serving ice cream, so that was a plus!

We stayed in lot 301, the absolute worst site on your property! There was some gravel for the motor home’s tires but we stepped out onto unlandscaped rough muddy dirt! The site has not been landscaped at all! I know it was a busy week for you but a little maintenance and gravel would have made it accessible! My worst KOA experience!

Great place to stay and wonderful people running this KOA. Stay each year on way home from Florida or Arizona, only 4 hours home from here.

Our site was a pull through but it was gravel and downhill. There was also an asphalt bump that caused us to bottom out going over it. We were in a motorhome with a tow dolly. The fire pit nextdoor to us that was filling our rig with smoke and we had to close all windows and vents when it was 7o degrees at night. The sites are too close together and are not staggered.

Poorly maintained grounds for flooding. The park is not graded properly for the flooding that it gets. We couldn’t even get out of our motorhome unless we had rain boots on. But, on a good note, the Nature Trail is highly recommended and the pool looked nice. Lots of games for families to play Just bring your rain boots!

Staff was very good and friendly. Our site was horrible. Not sure if this pull through is used only for one nighters towing like we were. I know rain cannot be controlled. This sites fire pit and picnic table was lower than the pad and in a pool of water #262. Even if we wanted a fire it was not possible. This was our second time here and first site was bad as well. Don't be an over nighter.

Overall fantastic! Love the New Jersey lady at the check in desk she is always so friendly! Really liked the new activities young ladies too! However, this is our second trip that the jump pad has still be en out, looking forward to that being replaced soon!

This campground was perfect and clean. Staff was very friendly and location was great since it is located outside of Louisville. They planned lots of fun activities for kiddos since it was Easter weekend.

$110 a night on weekends seems pretty steep. We ended up staying a couple days more because of family issues. We had to move a spot over to accommodate a guest who paid extra to stay in our spot. Wifi is lacking. I would think paying that kind of price, they'd amp up their wifi. Great place to walk the dog and K9 Kamp. A lot of activities for all.

Staff is very accommodating. Grounds very well maintained. Lots of things to keep kids entertained. Karen at the front desk was who we made our reservation (the 1st person we talked to) and the last when we checked out. She was most helpful and pleasant and was the icing on the cake of our stay. Don't forget to take the nature trail hike.

Golf cart driver led us to r site & brought r wood to us as well. We sure appreciated that helpfulness. I have never had to pay so much for so little wood. But it was good burning!! Thanx for great site.

Campground is well located and well set up. Washroom door locks need to be upgraded and newer shower curtains are needed. Staff are great, friendly and helpful.

We enjoyed our stay!! We loved all the activities at the park and playground for the kids. The only thing that could be different would be bigger campsites, we weren't able to open our awning due to a tree directly beside our camper but overall great stay.

Two-night stay was brief, but very nice. I had a late arrival situation, and was put on a spot that would be easy to back in-to after dark. Facility is very attractively laid out and Staff bent over backward to be helpful. Thank you, Karen!

Appears to have once earned the Presidents award but it’s showing its age. Most pads could use some leveling and fresh gravel as could the landscaping. For those who are light sleepers when the wind is out of the south flights departing from Louisville airport go right over your head and can keep you awake. The showers were clean but in need of fresh grout and the men’s rooms need benches.

This KOA has tight spots and the roads lack directional signs making navigation difficult. The entrance at the office is confusing as the entrance and exits are reversed and the arrows on the road are so faded you don't see them. The campground was clean and the staff were pleasant.

This is a BEAUTIFUL, well kept RV park that is open all year. Located a couple miles off the highway, you will be glad to know that there is NO highway noise. HOWEVER, the park is in the flight path for Louisville airport and it is BUSY! If you or your kids enjoy watching planes, this is a good place to see them flying overhead at a lower altitude. We stayed here 4 nights and in all honesty, the planes really didn't bother us. Make sure you walk the nature trails whilst here. You can go down to the river and also take one to the rock overhangs. For dog owners there is a dog park and for kids there is plenty of play equipment plus a central area with giant chess, checkers, and other game pits. Whilst there are full-timers here (hard for RV parks to make it without them), they are mostly in a different part of the park and the area was clean and tidy. Approximately 30 minutes from downtown Louisville, this was a very relaxing place to come home to after business meetings and sightseeing trips. Would definitely stay here again if visiting Louisville.

Always a wonderful place to stay. This was our second time staying prior to the Kentucky Derby and the grounds/ staff are wonderful. I feel like I have extended family now in KY . The campsites and very well groomed and the activities available for children and families are phenomenal.

The staff was so friendly and helpful. Loved this campground and the walking trails surrounding. East off/on to Rt 65. Laundry and bathroom facilities were super clean. They had a Pirate Treasure hunt the weekend we were staying. Nice place for kids.
