We were back in the "back" area and the site was fairly unlevel and didn't seem too well maintained. There were a lot of trailers (storage) parked around the area. The campground location worked well for us, but the campsite itself was a little disappointing, especially for the price. The kids did like the play area. Never got to use the pool because of storms though. Shower house was decent

One of the nicer KOAs I’ve stayed in 23 years of RVing. Site 269 was spacious and had some shade.

Beautiful campground loves it. BUT the site was so unlevel it took us 45 minutes to level a 45’ motorhome. I would stay again BUT I would go look at my site before I agreed to a site.

Very nice KOA south of Louisville. Well maintained in general. Sites were well grated in general with green areas for the dogs to walk. Would stay there again if in the area.

As always, it was great. We got in about 10:20 pm on a Friday night, and the nicest young man helped us to our site. When I went to check in the next morning, I let the very helpful desk man know this, and he said that he was a new employee! Very impressive. Everyone is so friendly and helpful which it why it is one of our favorite KOA locations.

cost was ridiculous for the park. unlevel gravel for site, table across the road and not beside site. site narrow and mud just outside our door. Should have been about $35 to $45 and not close to $100

Nice campground but a little small and close for big rigs. All employees were very nice and helpful.

We did a short stay, so we weren’t able to use any facilities. The staff was great and very helpful. We will say again when traveling to the area.

Stay was fine, due to helping family in the area move we haven't gotten to experience much of the campground yet. We will be camping more here soon. Site 379 is to small though lol.

Nice facility, good campsites, pleasant staff. Wi-fi was spotty. While pleasant, they're a little proud of themselves based on what they charge.

Staff was extremely friendly and stayed on top of cleaning and maintenance. Campground was really well kept, clean and we loved our stay!

Main bath house could use both a handicapped shower and toilet. Some 70 year old persons still RV! Small angled site next to us too close. Folks in tear drop had to hear our AC for a good portion of the night. Lovely park. Well cared for. Enjoyed a great dinner from food truck. MB from Az

Camp ground was ok, Staff was great. Planes can be annoying. Our picnic table and fire ring were across the road. Loved the nature trail. Conveniently. Located to lots of attractions. Close to grocery stores and other shopping.

It was a nice campground! We had a Paw Pen which Hudson wasn’t very fond of, LOL! The welcoming clerk was awesome!! A great stopover!

This place is amazing - lots of acres with a huge playground. lots of extra fun activities for the kids like big chess & checkers, sand volleyball, horseshoes, etc… Kids loved the pool and wanted to swim for a long time. We had a back in - electric - water only spot and we really liked it better as they are spacious sites, away from the rest of the sites. There’s a nice nature hike as well…

The pull through sight that we stayed in was very nice. And it was mostly level The park, the camp office, the pool and the amenities and activities. We're very good. However, as a senior citizen And connect with family and friends over the internet, the internet sucks.

5 stars for their amenities and friendliness, subtract 2 stars for the horrific camp site. We were stuck in the overnight section even though we were there for a week!

We saw some great improvements since our last stay a couple of years ago. Your internet is terrible. Most campers abided by the 5 mph speed limit. Your staff did not. Saw them several times and each time it seemed to me they were going way too fast.

Was denied the use of my koa membership on arrival. 3 RVs arrived and reserved together under one name. The person at registration said I could not change my site to my membership. Met a manager that evening and she changed it so I got credit. She was so friendly and easy to talk too. Loved the activities at the campground. Clean premises. Only complaint is we booked 3 sites and we were separated

Our stay was nice. Keep place neat and clean. Come around more than twice a day for garbage. We were in spot 275. Only issue is that back rows sucks. No one wants to walk across road to fire pit. Also that row has no room between rv’s. To empty my tanks I was under awning of Rv next to me.

We could not have picked a better campground for a 3.5 and 7 year old boy. They played hours at the playground, after a big day at the Louisville Zoo. We were welcomed with warm chocolate chip cookies and had delicious cool lemon water as a refreshment beverage. Bath houses were spotless. Campground was quiet and very clean! Trash pick up in the morning was a nice bonus. The boys played giant chess, bounced on the bounce pad, swung on the zip line. We stayed 2 nights and wanted to stay longer. They have a gorgeous pool on site, regretfully it was too cold for swimming in April 2025. Thank you for an amazing vacation for my dear friend and her “littles”. The site was level and I was led to my site by an employee who helped me back into my full hook up site. The fee was reasonable for the services provided. I encourage anyone to come and stay at the South Louisville KOA. They had cute cabins if you don't have an RV 🥰

This Campground is so amazing! Everyone is super nice & helpful! The warm chocolate chip cookies you receive upon arrival are very delicious 🍪🍪 The dog park is great too. Our dog got to play with two other dogs in it🐕🐩🐕‍🦺 The water pressure in the showers🚿 was fantastic! Beware of their new Scoops & Such ice cream🍧 addition in their store, it is fabulous & very addictive. We will definitely be stopping here again in the future too!
