Our site was a little muddy; it could have used more gravel. We were put in a small pull through and had neighbors on each side, so we had a hard time getting out of our site when it was time to leave. We had to back out!

It was a nice campground. The campground was clean. It has quite a few pull through sites. It was very close to the Paroquet Event Center. The drive to the event center was very easy to get to from the campground. The employees were very friendly upon check in. They made us feel very welcome.

We had a patio sight for our 45’ rig. The patio was located at the back of the rig so not very accessible and it was filthy. The patio had not been cleaned it appeared in years. The gravel for the spot was sparse and sloped which made it challenging to level. I will park in a Walmart parking lot before I ever go back to the Louisville KOA!

Quiet and spacious camper slots. This KOA has a fenced in dog park with small obstacles, a pool, laundry facilities and showers.

We requested a back in site and it was a terrible site #235 in the back corner across from the storage. The rail timbers lining the site were rotted, pine tree branches were laying on our roof and picnic table was peeling and dirty. We were not impressed for $75 a night.

Even before we arrived the customer service was top notch. Good value for the price. Didn't get to use the pool or boathouse but the grounds were clean and well kept. Lots of flat level sites and plenty of space in between. Full hookups is always a bonus and the tie die activity was fun. See you next time!

Back in sites on a slope that make it very difficult to level your rig. Site was very muddy due to slopes and poor drainage. Fire ring filled with water. UPS planes flew all night from nearby airport hub. VERY noisy. Staff seemed friendly and couldn’t help the terrain and location of the park. Laundry facility was clean. Only flat part of park was used for game area and dog park.

I enjoy my stay, it is in a convinete place outside of loiuseville. Just far enuf off the interstate, with plenty to eat late night. I will deffinatly be staying there next year for the louder than life festival.

I have to say I was very impressed with how clean everything was. The bathrooms especially. A lot of places are lacking in that department but not koa. The staff were very nice and they were willing to help with anything we needed. I even pulled one of the cleaning staff members aside and told them how impressed I was with the job they were doing on the grounds. We will be back to this campground

Check in staff were not very knowledgeable about the various campsites for us or another camper that arrived about an hour later. Even with the help of the KOA golf cat guide, they could not fit their trailer in the assigned campsite. After about 30 minutes of trying, they moved next to the local worker sites. I consider this KOA more of a Journey vs. a Holiday KOA...

The restrooms were unacceptable, “periodically cleaned.” The showers leaked other camper’s shower water all over the floor; you could not use the restroom or wash your hands without tracking through a flooded floor, mixed with dirt from everyone’s shoes coming in from the outside. Greatly appreciated Jersey's help in the store. One item I'd change up, having a quarter machine available in the laundry room. I was hoping to do laundry early and past campgrounds I've been at have had machines. Otherwise, no complaints!

We stayed in a water-electric site in the back of the campground -- it was a nice private spot with a good bit of cleared out 'backyard', which we liked a lot. The staff greeting us was extremely nice and professional. There are loads of activities for people to engage - also very nice! The only reason for 4-not-5 stars is that the place is big and could use more central showers.

Made reservation months in advance, and stayed for 6 days. The site we got was so unlevel, it took almost an hour to set up. We were jammed so close to the road we could not have our awnings out because campers and cars would hit it.

We stayed in Site #323 which was conveniently located by the amenities. We were not overly impressed given the fact that this is a Holiday KOA. We expected more with the sites and the roads given the price of the sites. The road in and out is narrow. The sites were narrow. Unless you are on the bourbon trail or whatever music festivals not worth staying more than one night.

Office staff need to become more knowledgeable about local attractions and things to do. Be sure to do your research before arriving. Other than that, the park is beautiful and the staff was very friendly.

Have always enjoyed staying at the Louisville South KOA for the past several years while attending the Bourbon & Beyond Festival. The campground is clean and the employees personable and helpful. This year I had a guest with an additional vehicle and was somewhat taken by blind-sided by the additional charges associated with over-flow parking, but we live and learn and will adjust in the future.

Very disappointing in stay for a week at a premium price. Site too small for size of motorhome and could not level after several attempts. Tree branches touching slides. Could not use awning or fire pit because both were only 3ft from the Coach. Could not use picnic table because neighbors water was spraying all over it. Attempted to contact two at the front desk but wouldn’t move.

We were at this KOA for 2 nights. We were visiting family, and didn’t have a chance to enjoy the many activities that were offered. Very nice and clean campground. Nicely shaded with trees. We have stayed here 4 or 5 times, and would highly recommend!

A very conveniently located KOA, with nice shade trees, plenty of activities and storage too! Outside of the city, but so close by you are right there for anything you want to do in the area.

We had a cabin at the KOA campground. It's a great location just south of Louisville. The cabin is small but very nice and very clean. We had friends in a camper at this Campground but we will consider using KOA's's in the future instead of hotels. Has a vice Camp store with most things you would need. There's a pool and a children's play area. Ever the grounds are clean and green and well maintained.

We had a very pleasant stay. KOA's have a lot of activities for the whole family and because of that that are pricier than other campgrounds. We had a back in, patio, full hook up lot.
