We enjoyed the amenities at the campground. It is very well taken care of. However, we were in the deluxe cabin and the mattresses were terrible. Did I say terrible? This is our second time staying here, but I’m not sure we would come back just because of the mattresses. Otherwise, everything was very nice.

Cabin had a bad oder to the point we brought our car air freshener in, there were cob webs all over, trash on the floor next to the bed, just needs a serious cleaning. The site had small pieces of trash not picked up, the chairs at the site next to us were broken and the arm of a chair was laying on the ground in plain site. The landscaping is in need of trimming and sprucing up. needs attention

I loved my cabin (DC1). I could have lived in it full-time (I don't need much). The only complaint is that the toilet seat needs fixed--I nearly slid off every time I sat down. Fantastic little cabin, and I loved that it was close to the office/store, and the nature trail. Easy to get in and out. Very close to Louisville, close to the distilleries and the Bernheim Forest. Great location all around

We had a really good time. Your hospitality is AWESOME! I especially like that you keep us up to date on weather and misc. events. The only thing I see that needs to be done painting the direction arrows coming and going. Hard to see on the pavement, bigger signage. Keep up the great job you all do and see you next year 2026. We’ve been coming to this KOA for several years. It is always clean and the workers are very friendly and helpful. The only thing I wish they would upgrade the gravel roads.

Kate and all the staff members were absolutely amazing. They were so friendly and helpful answering questions about parking and visitors. The grandkids absolutely LOVED all the activities but the Glow Train was a blast even for the adults. We had the best weekend and will be back again next year! Thanks again to all the staff but Kate gets a special shoutout because she was just awesome!!!

Campground is overcrowded. Sites are too close. Literally had a camper right outside of our back window. Not relaxing at all but did have a lot of fun things for kids. I just don’t think they need to squeeze a campsite into every available space.

The staff was incredibly helpful and friendly. The cabin was beautiful, spacious, and VERY accessible as one member of our family has mobility issues. Our fur babies were treated with their own dishes and treats which they enjoyed. The pet area was a wonderful spot for them to play. It was an incredible and enjoyable experience and we look forward to visiting again.

It was wonderful. Lots of activities for the kids. I don't have kids but loved the sounds of their laughter. Bathrooms were close to my cabin and were always clean and fresh smelling. I'll definitely go to this KOA again. Have handed out information to 3 friends who want to go there.

Stayed in DC3 cabin and loved it. Bed was comfortable. Appreciated the privacy of our own bathroom. The coffee pot is Kerig, but was able to get supplies at Walmart which was very close. We will definitely be back. Jersey is so helpful and thanks Chuck for the recommendations to accommodate dinner for the vegetarian in our party!!

Great cabin. Beautiful campground. Everyone was so kind and hard working. A few small things I can suggest, but wouldn't stop me from returning. I would put more hooks on the walls. A place to hang a jacket or hat or purse. A clock on the wall would be handy. The bed was extremely uncomfortable. I was surprised. Everything else was so nice.

We stay here a few times a year, as it is only 20 minutes from home. It is a nice getaway from the traffic and noise of Louisville. Very friendly staff, clean facilities!

Loved cabin #2… We stay at the Louisville South KOA every time during our travels to Iowa. The only thing I’m not pleased about is the $25 plus tax per pet charge, $10 per pet would be more appropriate. Kids stay for free and can cause more damage than house trained pets.

Love this place to stay when in Louisville area to visit family. The new mattresses are really not comfortable but overall the stay was great. Cabins are cozy and in good shape. Lots of activities to keep families active.

A very conveniently located KOA, with nice shade trees, plenty of activities and storage too! Outside of the city, but so close by you are right there for anything you want to do in the area.

We had a cabin at the KOA campground. It's a great location just south of Louisville. The cabin is small but very nice and very clean. We had friends in a camper at this Campground but we will consider using KOA's's in the future instead of hotels. Has a vice Camp store with most things you would need. There's a pool and a children's play area. Ever the grounds are clean and green and well maintained.

We had a very pleasant stay. KOA's have a lot of activities for the whole family and because of that that are pricier than other campgrounds. We had a back in, patio, full hook up lot.
