The bathrooms at the main office were out of order. The backup bathrooms at this pavilion were horrible!! The doors would not open all the way, the floor was dirty and not just from people walking in and out, Dirt had been there a long time. I would not take a shower because they were awful. Even the walls were dirty. Staff were very nice.

the staff was friendly at this KOA campsite, but the facilities were in broken down condition. The pool was closed, had to be drained. the laundry equipment was broken, only one of four washers working, two of the dryers broken, as was the coin dispenser. The bathroom near our campsite, the door would not lock. It looked as if the property had been neglected. the road in was horrible.

Our stay was very enjoyable and too short. But a very nice campgrounds. Lose to a river.

My stay was okay. I think campgrounds have become far too expensive. I think ways need to be developed to give campers only the amenities they need and want and not be charged for the whole range of amenities offered.

Restrooms near picnic area need to be cleaned!!!!

Roads in park to sites are not laid out well enough for RVs. The sites are kind of just thrown around anywhere the the trees allow. I cant decide if it was the green or the black algae that was taking over the showers more. The shower faucet just spun in circles so could not really find the luke warm water setting. Honestly, this was the worst KOA we have stayed it. Nothing good to say.

Could be fixing the urinal and toilet in the bathroom by the office, and the road in very rough, otherwise fine.

The setting is beautiful and staff were very attentive and accommodating. All systems worked ie. electric, water, etc. so nothing to complain about.

Great service from the front office to the back. I got great advice about NOT driving my RV through Yellowstone and scaring myself half to death. Loved the surroundings and amenities.

We have stayed at many KOA’s. The grounds were in great need of routine upkeep. Grass is over growing in many sites on the gravel, landscape that is present not trimmed, sites need more gravel to level them to the road, and besides all this no water pressure ( so no shower) and WiFi did not work. The sites are extremely close together making it tight for 5th wheels. Kind staff.

Staff very nice. Only downside 3 out of 4 washers were out of order. That's why 4 instead of 5. Thanks

Sites are tight. I liked the outdoor feel but the park could use some upkeep and tidiness.
Jul 17, 2025
The road getting to the park was dirt and extremely bumping esoically with an RV. Lots of pot holes. The bathrooms were old and dirty. The campground is old in need of updates.

The campground is beautiful. However, I was very offended by one of the staff. I asked what to do with my dog since I couldn't take him in any buildings, but the rules also state you are not supposed to leave them unattended. He told me I shouldn't have brought him to begin with. Then told me to tie him to a tree. KOAs claim to be pet friendly, but only under certain circumstances.

The Livingston KOA is very nice. Clean and a lot of trees. The employees are wonderful and loved talking to all of them. Shows were clean and really nice. Thank you for letting us check in early and a relaxing stay.

There were 4 washing machines and 3 of them were out of order and we were told that they were not going to be repaired. Overall, the campground was not kept up as nicely as it was when we were here two years ago and we were disappointed.

Beautiful location.

Clean, well kept and inviting campground.

Lovely park, but the dirt road getting to you was hard on my Airstream! Hope they were grading it when we left.

We have stayed many times over the years and had wonderful experiences there. The last 2 years not so much. Our friends were not treated well last year when we came to stay and this year we were pulled away from the concert we spent a fortune for because of our dogs barking. We pulled up in front of our camper and no barking came from our trailer. However we sat and listened to another dog

Loved our shady RV spot. The campground is super clean.

We will be back next year!

Bathroom had septic issues on first day but resolved in a few hours. Other than that great. In the future maybe switch to electric carts for the staff the carts are loud and smell of exaust fumes. Staff was outstanding.!!!!

Some of the toilets around the campground were broken and had still be used, so that was gross. The water hose at the dump station wasn't connected or even working making it more difficult to use. Overall it seemed that basic upkeeping of the campground hasn't been addressed and needs to. Staff was friendly and our site was fine. My kids enjoyed the pool even though it needed to be cleaned/netted

The completely site must be reorganized and cleaned! I would say that it’s one the worse’s KOA that I stayed!

First impression, terrible, washboard gravel road to get to the KOA entrance. 2nd impression, debris covered patio site with a filthy patio table & rotted weave on the chairs--a site that we were paying over $100 a night. On the 3rd night there was a group of teens staying at the KOA. We didn't hear any excess noise, but the next morning when my husband went to shower the bathhouses were filthy.

Not only is it beautiful there, it is so peaceful. Close proximity to town and other attractions.

i was only a one night stay but it was great... easy to get to parking spot, east to hook up power and dump... the only regretful thing was the 2 mile washboard road...OMG thot my whole unit was rattling apart...that was down right awful... something needs to be done about that road even going 5 10 mpr wasn't good... just hae to get past that and it's a piece of cake... it's an awesome KOA...

We had a wonderful time at the Paradise Valley KOA. Staff was all very courteous & friendly. We had a large group with lots of kiddos all over the place. Thank you for your patience. Bathroom & shower rooms were clean, site areas were also clean. Thank you for a great stay.

The road getting to the campground is AWFUL. 1.5 miles of pot holes makes the campground very undesirables to stay at. Unfortunately the pool was out of use. We were informed via text 10 minutes before our arrival which didn’t work out too well considering we were using the pool as the reward for our 3 and 5 year old traveling well in the car. The area is beautiful but the road is huge deterrent

Quiet night along the Yellowstone River, nice campground. The road leading back to this KOA was pretty rough as of 7/6/2025

Extremely impressed with the staff—their professionalism and kindness truly stood out. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would happily return!

Amazing staff. Very helpful and courteous. One of the most iconic KOA's in the country.
Jul 06, 2025
The pool always seems to be closed. The bathrooms (in the wooden building out by the 70's and 80's) needs some serious love and cleaning. Didn't used to be that way a few years ago.

We were there for only one night so our rating is based on that! The campground was definitely rustic! Dog park was unusable but we found grass around the campground. The worst part was the one mile dirt road to the campground - it was filled with potholes and awful to our motorhome, dogs and us!
Jul 06, 2025
The road in was horrible for our RV. Too close to each other in sites. Not the quality of other KOA’s that we have stayed in. Would not choose to stay here again.

On October 12, 2024, we and another couple mad reservations for this park for one night. We also asked to be next to each other. When we got to the park, they gave us our spot, it was 55 and our friends were in another section, not near us. When they led us to 55, lime was all around the sewer on both sides of the camper. This is the worst KOA I have been in.

First of all, the road to get to the KOA is horrible. We should have had a warning. We asked to be near our friends when we made the reservation back in September but we were not even close. We were at opposite ends. No campfire due to the sites being too close and the neighbors truck was 6’ from our pit. The men’s bathroom had broken urinals and not very clean. This KOA is the worst we have

Over all positive experience. With that in mind we would stay here again. Pros and cons list below. We stayed in an rv backed up to the yellowstone river. PROS Views and location are INCREDIBLE. This immerses you into the Montana country side with stunning back drops of majestic mountain ranges to the east with snow capped tops. Grounds are well maintained but natural looking. Everything for rv hook up was easy and functional. The service was excellent, everyone was always asking if we needed anything or if they could be of service in anyway. Very friendly staff. Variety of sites with varying cost and ease of access. Amenities are very nice with almost every site having seating with a table and fire pit. Cons Showers/bathroom is a bit outdated but not run down. But even more so inconvenient is if any one turns on the hot water at the sink in the ladies room some of the showers get instantly icey cold. Other than those 2 small grievances, we 100% would return again and do reccomend this camp ground!

This is a gorgeous campground with cabins, tent sites, and RV sites. It is on the Yellowstone River with an amazing views of the mountains. They have a nice play ground, a huge bouncy house to jump on, little 3 wheeled bikes to race around the camp ground with. a heated indoor pool. There is a place just across the road where live music is playing on weekends with some big name bands. Very quaint and a wonderful time with food and drinks. There is a hiking spot up the road to paradise falls, Livingston is close for shopping, you are right by the Chico hot springs, as well as Yellowstone park. We have now made it an end of summer tradition for our family for the last 3 years and will continue to be for years to come.
