Will never stay there Sites are not level for a 50’ RV 5th wheel Trees need to be trimmed!! Or remove around the complex camp ground Set pictures to corporate office in regards to the issues that we had with the trees and getting into the site This KOA needs to be looked at and evaluated to see if they are up to the KOA standards

This KOA did not meet typical standards. The showerhouse bathrooms were tight, dirty lacked basically necessities like hooks on the wall and the floors were constantly very wet. Over a 2 week trip, this was by far the worst campground we stayed in for bathrooms. Very disappointing as it was also one of our more expensive stays, and definitely was not worth the price we payed!

The campground itself is very nice and peaceful, and people are friendly. The road in is terrible, and that would keep me from recommending it only.

Laundry unavailable made it a bit challenging

Beautiful location and friendly staff. The bathrooms need maintenance and more cleaning. Hooks broken with no where to put your clothes. Thanks

everyone was super nice and helpful! -only negative was that the washers and dryers were broken!

Broken patio furniture. Uneven sights. No cable. "Indoor pool" has no patio and surrounded by cinder block walls. Not 1 operating washing machine. Bathrooms near office out of service. Dirt road from rt89 will shake the paint off your camper. Asked a staff member about local activities and his reply was, I don't know. I'm not really into those things."

Our original vacation plans did not include a stop in Livingston KOA however we had unexpectedly a mechanical issue with our pulling truck. This caused us to modify our journey and look for a campground in the Livingston area while our truck was being looked at by a GMC dealer. The KOA staff and especially Angela really went out of there way to accommodate us with a camping spot. 5 star service!

Grounds staff were rude. Campground is too compact with little room between sites. Main bathrooms not functional.

It’s a nice area, and unlike many KOAs it is far from the road and therefore peaceful. However, maintenance seems to be sliding. One of the two bathrooms we had access to had a constant puddle covering the floor. The sites used to have a great deal of shade from cottonwoods, but many of these have been cut down, so it’s substantially less shady. Access road from hwy 89 has crumbled to washboar

It was good, it was our 1st experience at a KOA. I was a little surprised how close we were to our neighbors. I didn’t like how close our sitting area was to our neighbors’ dump area for their camper - that was a bit gross. Also for the ice cream social, I wished that they would have notified us a half hr to an hr earlier b/c we had just left the campsite for ice cream or else we would have st

The road from highway to the campground is terrible. Complete washboard rattled tow vehicle and camper the whole way. You should know before coming that the laundry room is nonexistent as all 4 of their washers are broken and on order. No timeline was given for replacement. Many other RV parks in the area and I’m a frequent KOA traveler.

1st time here and we’re planning to return. Beautiful location, extremely clean campground, staff super friendly and hardworking. Thanks for a great getaway weekend.

Definitely NOT up to KOA Holiday standards! Dog park had no lights, full of poop and big rocks (dogs can't even run), narrow roads and sites (NOT big rig friendly), 4 dirty bathrooms/showers (that need updating - the main ones were closed) and 10 mi off the highway (the last 1.5 mi over a "washboard" dirt road with holes that will tear up your rig! If you have a big Class A - pass!

Great location! Needs cleaner shower / bathrooms.

We disliked the site from the start. We hope that it would get better after we got past the mile and a half of washboard and pothole filled dirt toad . But it only seemed to get worse with extremely tight quarters with very little room for big rigs , no privacy and the smell of sewer .This sight has a lot of potential if they paved the road, landscaped and reduced the number of campers by 60%

Sites were a little difficult to get in. We had a pull thru but still tight to get in. Loved the duck though.

Just a quick overnight. Accommodations were just what we needed. No issues with anything. 45 foot Class A. Road in and out was terrible in that it was a rutty rocky road. Situated right on a beautiful river with lots to do. Less manicured than some but all in all a nice KOA. Pretty rustic.

Terrible experience. Poor customer service by some members of host team. Campground is poorly maintained. Our site was dirt and un-level. Road leading to the campground was very rough.

Great. view and staff

Hey there had a wonderful check in with wonderful staff on August 5 around four or 5 o’clock. Great help getting to the camp spot. I think the campground could use some love with the landscaping, grounds were really dried up. The camp spot was great number 66 but there was a lot of dried dog poop in our camp spot and lots of little plastic garbage could be cleaned up better. Great staff!

Only one shower was usable other floor of the shower was cracked and unsafe to use. Only had one bathroom to use for the whole facility. Washing machines were not in use. This should of been known before the stay

My spot was good, there was a paper wasp nest in the trees above it which created more of a bee issue than I would have liked but that's also part of camping/nature. However, my in-laws, siblings, and aunt and uncle were all staying in cabins that had termite issues (MSMW, GNFS, and BRDN on the KOA map) .

We had a problem on this stay, the sewer backed up in the site we were in. I contacted the emergency # as it was after hours (11pm). Response was within 10 minutes. The backup was temporarily taken care of and they asked if we wanted to move. We decided to wait until morning, they were able to assign us a new site. A discount was given, very pleased with the actions taken by the staff. Thanks!

Bathrooms out of order. Of those in service two have plumbing leaks under the sinks. Otherwise pleasant, though off the beaten path.

Great camp, friendly hosts but they have septic problems

Amazing campground , one of the few that feels natural, more like traditional camping and it's next to yellowstone river.

Had a great time

Alternate restroom not as clean as KOA standard.

The staff was all so friendly and helpful. The campground was quiet and beautiful. We can't wait to go back!

Not a pleasant stay. The bathrooms are disgusting.

Nice campground. The staff was very friendly! And helpful. View of the mountains was great.

This was my 3rd year staying, and I believe the main bathroom has been broken down all 3 years. Also, I needed to do laundry, and all the washers were broke.
Jul 27, 2025
The staff and office were amazing. Our sight was decent and quiet. River was pretty. The bathroom and showers need a major upgrade. The sights could be cleaned up more. Overall a nice stop for one night to our next destination.
Jul 27, 2025
Service by host was very good and very welcoming. However, all facilities were not at all maintained. We paid what we consider a premium price, so it was way way too expensive, compared to other campgrounds.

Longtime KOA Member. The Livingston KOA is a decent campground. We only use it as a stopover on long road trips. The main entrance road is terrible. We tow an off road Airstream and you can barely maneuver all the potholes, ruts, & dust. Top speed is less than 20 mph. We just returned from a week in NW ND majority of the farm roads are gravel with a posted speed of 50 mph-smooth & manageable.

Bathrooms were kind of a mess. Not working. And limited. Otherwise it was very nice.

We stayed for two weeks and were very disappointed. Bathrooms were dirty and outdated, with broken showerheads. One men’s shower only had cold water, and a women’s shower was out the entire time. The urinal was still broken from last year. All guest washers were down, but staff machines worked. Great location, but not worth the price. This was our last stay.

Need to figure out those plumbing issues. Laundry and shower house inop

Over all positive experience. With that in mind we would stay here again. Pros and cons list below. We stayed in an rv backed up to the yellowstone river. PROS Views and location are INCREDIBLE. This immerses you into the Montana country side with stunning back drops of majestic mountain ranges to the east with snow capped tops. Grounds are well maintained but natural looking. Everything for rv hook up was easy and functional. The service was excellent, everyone was always asking if we needed anything or if they could be of service in anyway. Very friendly staff. Variety of sites with varying cost and ease of access. Amenities are very nice with almost every site having seating with a table and fire pit. Cons Showers/bathroom is a bit outdated but not run down. But even more so inconvenient is if any one turns on the hot water at the sink in the ladies room some of the showers get instantly icey cold. Other than those 2 small grievances, we 100% would return again and do reccomend this camp ground!

This is a gorgeous campground with cabins, tent sites, and RV sites. It is on the Yellowstone River with an amazing views of the mountains. They have a nice play ground, a huge bouncy house to jump on, little 3 wheeled bikes to race around the camp ground with. a heated indoor pool. There is a place just across the road where live music is playing on weekends with some big name bands. Very quaint and a wonderful time with food and drinks. There is a hiking spot up the road to paradise falls, Livingston is close for shopping, you are right by the Chico hot springs, as well as Yellowstone park. We have now made it an end of summer tradition for our family for the last 3 years and will continue to be for years to come.
