Conveniently located from Yellowstone and Livingston. Country setting, very peaceful. Improvements could be made: better community river access, better dog run area, Mountain view for more sites (permanent sites are blocking some of the views) or a community area to view mountains.

Great location but the KOA campground needs some updating and maintenance.

Required 1.5 miles on a gravel road that was not listed in KOA directory. RV site was not level. Bathrooms were not heated.

.everyone was awsome Andmake sure youtake care of the DUCK. He was just so cute.

Clean and safe is the best compliment I can give. Laundry and baths closed .. not disclosed when we made reservations that afternoon of arrival.. Be careful with address our Ford Nav made an error and took us to the same address, but it had a wet on the name of the street and we ended up 8 miles back in a one-way dirt road with nowhere to turn around.. It was pretty stressful. We made it

I mile+ of gravel/dashboard road. When your message could have said "take the E Lake Rd", before the sign. Old park, narrow spaces. Showers were average.

Rude staff, foul septic smell. Would not recommend.

Amazing location. Beautiful camp site by the Yellowstone. Clea and quiet

Great experience, friendly staff. only issue that's out of there hands is the road to the KOA is horrible
Sep 21, 2025
level campsites, helpful staff. Sites are fairly close. Road to campground is a total washboard. Suggest taking East River Road instead.

They only had 4 washing machines and all 4 were out of order, but they had 8 dryers and 2 were out of order. Had to drive into Livingston to do laundry. The Wi-Fi was non existent and my husband needed to go online to do some work and was unable. When I called to ask if someone could help us I got a recording their phones are down. Left a message and no one returned my call. Will not recommend!

The road from the highway was rougher than to most boondocking spots. The indoor pool is closed and laundry is closed. I go to a KOA primarily to recharge and do laundry, so that was a huge miss. The sites are such that your picnic table is right next to your neighbor’s sewer. Everything looked a little worse for wear. Not sure how this one is a holiday. I’ve stayed at nicer Journeys.

Beautiful camp ground. Quiet, clean and friendly. The road in is very bumpy but it clearly states that on the web site and they told us over the phone as well. Gorgeous river to watch the sunset. Highly recommend. 45 min from Yellowstone, easy drive.

Very nice accommodations

A very rough 1 1/2 dirt road getting to the campground.
Sep 17, 2025
The campground was very nice and would have deserved a better rating, but the road coming in was absolutely horrible. The WORST washboard, pothole filled gravel road I have encountered.

The campground location was beautiful, however, everything at the campground was tired/broken (laundry room was not functioning at all...had to drive into town to do laundry).Sites were dirt. K-9 area was weeds and rocks.

I'll first start by saying we stayed here two years ago, and it was fine. The way it deteriorated in two years is crazy. First thing you notice is the awful entrance road, then uneven sites, poorly maintained grounds, and rude staff. Plus, the smell in the office/store was awful. This is by no means a KOA Holiday. You're still an hour away from Yellowstone. Highly recommended looking elsewhere

Nice campgrounds. Sad to see both pool and laundry were closed.

Very nice, way way to expensive!!

The road in is horrendous and you should at least warn people that their RV will get wrecked coming in the 1.5 miles of washboard and pot holes. As bad as it gets !!!

Probably my fault for calling in late making a late reservation. But I got a really c***** spot, and the neighbors kept parking, really close to my pad. I asked that when people told them where to park that they parked closer to their own pad, so they weren't encroaching on our little, tiny bitter area, and it was never done, and people drive way too fast in that park. Especially the employees.

great location, very quiet. The hosts are very nice. Be sure to use the east side road to enter the Kamp. The road from Hwy 89 is very rough. I will be returning to this KOA in the future.

We have been staying there for years but I think this is our last time. The road into the camp is absolutely horrible, it rattled things out of place that have never moved in all the miles we have traveled. The condition of our site has deteriorated drastically (we stay in same site) weeds, dirt mixed with dead grass. Camp ground was extremely crowded and chaotic. We are sad at the change.

It was great!

The best part of the stay was the 2 staff members I encountered. Very nice, very helpful. I brought my own cleaning products into the bathroom each time I used it and I wouldn't shower in it. Way too congested. One bathroom was closed. The laundry was closed.

Disappointed, did not meet expectations for a KIA Holiday. Main bathrooms out of service (alert was postedon 25Aug), at check in informed no functional washing machines in laundry room, pool already drained (no notice), no exhaust in other restrooms/showers, WiFi inadequate, Kamp K-9 is a small, dirt, fenced area. Regret I cannot recommend this KOA.

Said the pool would be open. It wasn’t. WiFi did not hook up to internet. Called to ask a question and didn’t hear back until after we left the campground.

Great campground. This was the second time we stayed there. Staff very friendly and helpful.

Only two bathrooms and the where never cleaned.

Great view of mountains and the river. However only found two shower restrooms for all about ninty sites, sometimes a long wait for the restrooms, Also most expensive koa of our whole trip

Fabulous KOA! Great staff, beautiful campground. We love it here! Highly recommend!

Unfortunately, after leveling our trailer, prior to hooking up our septic line, their sewer tanks overflowed and started filling the area. Very unpleasant. After hours of patience, we moved sites. Their facilities were very old, dirty and unkept. The road to their entrance was a long, washboard covered drive. Quite hard on the truck and trailer.

An overnight stay while traveling to Yellowstone. Campground is nicely laid out, clean and site was level and perfect for my needs. The check in crew was super friendly and the setting is beautiful.

Cozy campground along the Yellowstone River and 15 minutes to Livingston. Peaceful setting and would stay again.

We have a 40’ camper and was told they have nice drive thurs that are 100’ . Not true we could hardly get our 40’ in. Very tight and crowded. Very tight curves impossible to make. Taking the road to campground on washerboard gravel. The roughest road we have ever been on and we live in iowa, which is full of gravel roads. Can’t express to anyone with an rv to NOT go there. It was a

Charming setting and excellent staff!

Over all positive experience. With that in mind we would stay here again. Pros and cons list below. We stayed in an rv backed up to the yellowstone river. PROS Views and location are INCREDIBLE. This immerses you into the Montana country side with stunning back drops of majestic mountain ranges to the east with snow capped tops. Grounds are well maintained but natural looking. Everything for rv hook up was easy and functional. The service was excellent, everyone was always asking if we needed anything or if they could be of service in anyway. Very friendly staff. Variety of sites with varying cost and ease of access. Amenities are very nice with almost every site having seating with a table and fire pit. Cons Showers/bathroom is a bit outdated but not run down. But even more so inconvenient is if any one turns on the hot water at the sink in the ladies room some of the showers get instantly icey cold. Other than those 2 small grievances, we 100% would return again and do reccomend this camp ground!

This is a gorgeous campground with cabins, tent sites, and RV sites. It is on the Yellowstone River with an amazing views of the mountains. They have a nice play ground, a huge bouncy house to jump on, little 3 wheeled bikes to race around the camp ground with. a heated indoor pool. There is a place just across the road where live music is playing on weekends with some big name bands. Very quaint and a wonderful time with food and drinks. There is a hiking spot up the road to paradise falls, Livingston is close for shopping, you are right by the Chico hot springs, as well as Yellowstone park. We have now made it an end of summer tradition for our family for the last 3 years and will continue to be for years to come.
