everyone was super nice and helpful! -only negative was that the washers and dryers were broken!

Broken patio furniture. Uneven sights. No cable. "Indoor pool" has no patio and surrounded by cinder block walls. Not 1 operating washing machine. Bathrooms near office out of service. Dirt road from rt89 will shake the paint off your camper. Asked a staff member about local activities and his reply was, I don't know. I'm not really into those things."

Great location! Loved being on the river. Staff was super! There is a lack of bathrooms for the number of campers, however. And they could use some updating.

Our original vacation plans did not include a stop in Livingston KOA however we had unexpectedly a mechanical issue with our pulling truck. This caused us to modify our journey and look for a campground in the Livingston area while our truck was being looked at by a GMC dealer. The KOA staff and especially Angela really went out of there way to accommodate us with a camping spot. 5 star service!

Grounds staff were rude. Campground is too compact with little room between sites. Main bathrooms not functional.

I was only there for 9 hours (and most of it sleeping) but the location is gorgeous and easy to find, the communication is clear and helpful, and the bathrooms clean and well-lit. I would definitely car camp there again!

It’s a nice area, and unlike many KOAs it is far from the road and therefore peaceful. However, maintenance seems to be sliding. One of the two bathrooms we had access to had a constant puddle covering the floor. The sites used to have a great deal of shade from cottonwoods, but many of these have been cut down, so it’s substantially less shady. Access road from hwy 89 has crumbled to washboar

Very quiet clean facility

It was good, it was our 1st experience at a KOA. I was a little surprised how close we were to our neighbors. I didn’t like how close our sitting area was to our neighbors’ dump area for their camper - that was a bit gross. Also for the ice cream social, I wished that they would have notified us a half hr to an hr earlier b/c we had just left the campsite for ice cream or else we would have st

I can't wait to come back to Linvingston/Paradise Valley KOA! They staff were amazing. The entire place was very clean and up kept. All the tent sites have great tree shelter for wind block and shade. 10/10 recommend staying here.

Always a great time at my favorite KOA in Montana!

The road from highway to the campground is terrible. Complete washboard rattled tow vehicle and camper the whole way. You should know before coming that the laundry room is nonexistent as all 4 of their washers are broken and on order. No timeline was given for replacement. Many other RV parks in the area and I’m a frequent KOA traveler.

1st time here and we’re planning to return. Beautiful location, extremely clean campground, staff super friendly and hardworking. Thanks for a great getaway weekend.

Definitely NOT up to KOA Holiday standards! Dog park had no lights, full of poop and big rocks (dogs can't even run), narrow roads and sites (NOT big rig friendly), 4 dirty bathrooms/showers (that need updating - the main ones were closed) and 10 mi off the highway (the last 1.5 mi over a "washboard" dirt road with holes that will tear up your rig! If you have a big Class A - pass!

Great location! Needs cleaner shower / bathrooms.

We disliked the site from the start. We hope that it would get better after we got past the mile and a half of washboard and pothole filled dirt toad . But it only seemed to get worse with extremely tight quarters with very little room for big rigs , no privacy and the smell of sewer .This sight has a lot of potential if they paved the road, landscaped and reduced the number of campers by 60%

Sites were a little difficult to get in. We had a pull thru but still tight to get in. Loved the duck though.
Aug 10, 2025
The cabin was good except outside needs trimmed up. There is a stump in area to drive car. Not enough room to have picnic table and car. Bathrooms need to be repainted and updated.

Good overall service, quick delivery of wood, campsite clean. However, quiet time is NOT 'strictly enforced,' as the campground rule sheet says. Loud party of six campers or so went on until 11:30 p.m., music loud enough for a deaf person to hear. When I spoke to attendant when checking out was told is was my fault for not calling, that I must initiate enforcement. Not right!! No one checking!!!

Just a quick overnight. Accommodations were just what we needed. No issues with anything. 45 foot Class A. Road in and out was terrible in that it was a rutty rocky road. Situated right on a beautiful river with lots to do. Less manicured than some but all in all a nice KOA. Pretty rustic.

Terrible experience. Poor customer service by some members of host team. Campground is poorly maintained. Our site was dirt and un-level. Road leading to the campground was very rough.

Great. view and staff
Aug 08, 2025
Great location, great cabins, staff and amenities. The bathrooms and showers were not the cleanest, but still beats using a tree or bathing in a stream.
Aug 08, 2025
Main bathrooms were closed; only a few others available on opposite ends of the camp. Bathrooms were disgusting; they were not being cleaned or sanitized. Cabin steps were rotted. Staff would just sit in golf carts and stare at us; they were not friendly at all. WIFI kept dropping and there was almost zero cell reception. I would tell everyone to avoid this KOA & rate it zero if I could.

My only complaint was there only being the one bathroom at the time. There was not enough to handle the amount of campers. Other wise it was great as always.

Hey there had a wonderful check in with wonderful staff on August 5 around four or 5 o’clock. Great help getting to the camp spot. I think the campground could use some love with the landscaping, grounds were really dried up. The camp spot was great number 66 but there was a lot of dried dog poop in our camp spot and lots of little plastic garbage could be cleaned up better. Great staff!

Very inviting all amenities are good We would go there again Only con is the washboard road to it is rough need to run at 10 mph

It was good however..there was an infestation of termites which was dropping residue from the ceiling after the 3rd day

Only one shower was usable other floor of the shower was cracked and unsafe to use. Only had one bathroom to use for the whole facility. Washing machines were not in use. This should of been known before the stay

My spot was good, there was a paper wasp nest in the trees above it which created more of a bee issue than I would have liked but that's also part of camping/nature. However, my in-laws, siblings, and aunt and uncle were all staying in cabins that had termite issues (MSMW, GNFS, and BRDN on the KOA map) .

It was so nice sitting outside and having a relaxing river view. Excellent staff.

We've stayed at this KOA camp site twice now and it does not disappoint! The staff is very friendly and helpful and the site is nestled in God's Country!

We had a problem on this stay, the sewer backed up in the site we were in. I contacted the emergency # as it was after hours (11pm). Response was within 10 minutes. The backup was temporarily taken care of and they asked if we wanted to move. We decided to wait until morning, they were able to assign us a new site. A discount was given, very pleased with the actions taken by the staff. Thanks!

Bathrooms out of order. Of those in service two have plumbing leaks under the sinks. Otherwise pleasant, though off the beaten path.

first time to try a cabin and it worked out great
Aug 05, 2025
If your renting a cabin you will love it ! There in the trees beside the Yellowstone River.

I don't know if the nostalgia is gone, but it does not feel like it was same place I came to as a kid 15 years ago. The facilities could use a lot of help including the bathrooms next to the pavilion. They need to be cleaned more often and more thoroughly. There was also dog poop littered around the cabin we stayed in which was there before we arrived.

Park was old and dilapidated/ picnic tables were rotten and sagging Electric box was full if spider nest - and water leaked Play areas were placed in all camping areas and children were screaming and running amuck Bathroom facilities were inadequate and dirty

Only stayed for 1 night. The campground was quiet and the views were beautiful. 3 stars because the bathroom was run down. A hole in the shower floor just taped over.

Beautiful location and friendly staff. Issues with plumbing... toliets

Great camp, friendly hosts but they have septic problems

The main bathroom was out of order. One of the only other 2 single use bathrooms had a large crack in the shower floor (about a foot wide) that flooded out onto the floor.

Over all positive experience. With that in mind we would stay here again. Pros and cons list below. We stayed in an rv backed up to the yellowstone river. PROS Views and location are INCREDIBLE. This immerses you into the Montana country side with stunning back drops of majestic mountain ranges to the east with snow capped tops. Grounds are well maintained but natural looking. Everything for rv hook up was easy and functional. The service was excellent, everyone was always asking if we needed anything or if they could be of service in anyway. Very friendly staff. Variety of sites with varying cost and ease of access. Amenities are very nice with almost every site having seating with a table and fire pit. Cons Showers/bathroom is a bit outdated but not run down. But even more so inconvenient is if any one turns on the hot water at the sink in the ladies room some of the showers get instantly icey cold. Other than those 2 small grievances, we 100% would return again and do reccomend this camp ground!

This is a gorgeous campground with cabins, tent sites, and RV sites. It is on the Yellowstone River with an amazing views of the mountains. They have a nice play ground, a huge bouncy house to jump on, little 3 wheeled bikes to race around the camp ground with. a heated indoor pool. There is a place just across the road where live music is playing on weekends with some big name bands. Very quaint and a wonderful time with food and drinks. There is a hiking spot up the road to paradise falls, Livingston is close for shopping, you are right by the Chico hot springs, as well as Yellowstone park. We have now made it an end of summer tradition for our family for the last 3 years and will continue to be for years to come.
