Fabulous KOA! Great staff, beautiful campground. We love it here! Highly recommend!

Unfortunately, after leveling our trailer, prior to hooking up our septic line, their sewer tanks overflowed and started filling the area. Very unpleasant. After hours of patience, we moved sites. Their facilities were very old, dirty and unkept. The road to their entrance was a long, washboard covered drive. Quite hard on the truck and trailer.

An overnight stay while traveling to Yellowstone. Campground is nicely laid out, clean and site was level and perfect for my needs. The check in crew was super friendly and the setting is beautiful.

Cozy campground along the Yellowstone River and 15 minutes to Livingston. Peaceful setting and would stay again.

We have a 40’ camper and was told they have nice drive thurs that are 100’ . Not true we could hardly get our 40’ in. Very tight and crowded. Very tight curves impossible to make. Taking the road to campground on washerboard gravel. The roughest road we have ever been on and we live in iowa, which is full of gravel roads. Can’t express to anyone with an rv to NOT go there. It was a

I truly enjoy the location for proximity to Livingston, Yellowstone River, and Pine Creek! I enjoy the convenience of the amenities that the campground offers. I will be back again!

It’s a nice place and people very friendly but the road to get there is horrible so we won’t be going back if it’s not fixed. Staff said they call several times a week about getting it graded but need to call someone higher up with authority

The KOA was ok. We had a nice site and the grounds were not bad. However the campground is over a mile off the highway on the roughest dirt road I have ever encountered, including Alaska. The drive in broke a latch on my pantry door, the refrigerator doors came open, spices flew out of the spice rack, and some of the jar lids even came unscrewed. Would never return.

Site was OK at best, facilities were not what I expected from a KOA. Restrooms/showers were in terrible shape. We stayed two nights and that was to many. They told us the road into the campground Eason bad shape, bad did not come close to explaining how bad they really were.

Very clean. Greeted and treated kindly. Great little campground.

Had a great time! The bathrooms could use an update. The toilets kept clogging, there are only hooks in one of the bathrooms to hold towel for showering and only on has a small bench for clothes and shower stuff. Other than that is was great!

Staff are great, very helpful and accommodating

Stayed here 2 nights while travelling. Bathrooms need updated/attention. There was no where to put anything in the bathrooms, no hooks, seats were broken. Otherwise the campgrounds seemed fine.

Always a great time. Jordan takes very good care of us.

We loved the additional kids playing items, as well as the pool being fixed and open. Nice quiet, clean campground and attentive staff.

Bathrooms are sooo dirty every year! Watched cleaners just walk in and right back out all weekend.

We loved staying at this campground. It was right the Yellowstone River.

Everything was great, except we counted on using the laundry facilities which were not available. That was a Big disappointment to us. We had stayed at that campground before and were counting on doing laundry.
Sep 01, 2025
We were not directed away from the entrance road and lost a hubcap and loosened our coolant hose that stranded us later on- the directions AWAY from that road should be HIGHLIGHTED, knowing gps uses direct route. We were not alerted that the laundry facilities were broken but received texts about weather and fire notices. Site proxmity to Yellowstone and views from campground were great!

The staff was very helpful. I see lots of complaints about the bad dirt road final mile. I called to ask about it and was given a paved road that was quite nice - slow going because of the turns, but not stressful. I highly recommend anyone calling in advance instead of risking damage to your equipment. I found the grounds to be under maintained, grass was dead. Quiet and otherwise clean.

Preffered directions to campground shoud be hwy 89 to 540 to pine creek rd. Pinecreek rd off of 89 is very rough and will beat up your equipment. May want to add this to your website

Staff was friendly and helpful. However, the campground is old and iin need of an upgrade. The main bathroom was not working during our visit and the remaining bathrooms were in need of painting, cleaning and fixture repair (No towel hooks and benches that were unusable). Cabin parking needs to be better defined instead of just parking on the on the grass in front.

I booked this place for the laundry… none of the laundry was working and nobody seemed to care or try to help me. Staff was not very helpful. The “heated” pool was not heated and was gross and not clean in the whole area. The bathrooms were not very clean. This was our worst KOA experience yet.

Site map wasn’t very clear, the labeling for each camp site is so small and hidden, you can’t tell what is what, the bathroom had ZERO hooks orr places to put your things.. Lastly, I arrived around 8:30 pm and saw someone inside at the register, so I went to open the door and it was locked., the guy at the register looked up, saw me, and ignored me completely. What if there was an emergency)

staff was friendly. Main bathrooms were inaccessible. to get to River we had to walk thru cabin sites. Did not like the long dirt road to get to the Park. Very dusty and rough. We used it for transition of locations.so we stayed 1 night.

Such a great place. Location and staff are wonderful. Crew running this location does a great job. The store has a little bit of everything, and lots to do for children.

We stayed in one of the cabins which was delightful (not our first time in a KOA cabin - they're so cute) and the employees here were super nice BUT and this is a strong "butt" - the bathrooms where really not up to par. Dirty, smelly, broken benches, etc. I'd probably bring my own portable toilet if I were to come here again and just plan on not showering here so I can avoid the yucky restrooms.

Overall I enjoyed my stay and the park seemed to be quiet and clean. However, it is disappointing that the same restrooms near the office have been out of service for the past several weeks (or more?). It seemed to me that the number of available restrooms was not adequate for the number of people staying there, which was impacted due to the out of service facilities. Thank you.

We had a great time and it is very clean.

Getting to the KOA intially was horrible. The road in from the GPS was like driving on a washboard. It was not until we got to the check-in we found out there was another way in and it was a lot smoother. An easier fix immediately would to put the other way in the reservation confirmation to avoid the frusration by those trying to use this proparty.

Over all positive experience. With that in mind we would stay here again. Pros and cons list below. We stayed in an rv backed up to the yellowstone river. PROS Views and location are INCREDIBLE. This immerses you into the Montana country side with stunning back drops of majestic mountain ranges to the east with snow capped tops. Grounds are well maintained but natural looking. Everything for rv hook up was easy and functional. The service was excellent, everyone was always asking if we needed anything or if they could be of service in anyway. Very friendly staff. Variety of sites with varying cost and ease of access. Amenities are very nice with almost every site having seating with a table and fire pit. Cons Showers/bathroom is a bit outdated but not run down. But even more so inconvenient is if any one turns on the hot water at the sink in the ladies room some of the showers get instantly icey cold. Other than those 2 small grievances, we 100% would return again and do reccomend this camp ground!

This is a gorgeous campground with cabins, tent sites, and RV sites. It is on the Yellowstone River with an amazing views of the mountains. They have a nice play ground, a huge bouncy house to jump on, little 3 wheeled bikes to race around the camp ground with. a heated indoor pool. There is a place just across the road where live music is playing on weekends with some big name bands. Very quaint and a wonderful time with food and drinks. There is a hiking spot up the road to paradise falls, Livingston is close for shopping, you are right by the Chico hot springs, as well as Yellowstone park. We have now made it an end of summer tradition for our family for the last 3 years and will continue to be for years to come.
