This campsite is GORGEOUS, the staff is EXCELLENT, KIND, and caring. They showed us around and would highly recommend to everyone even NON-campers because of the beautiful cabins they’ve built. I will definitely be back.

Lots of erosion from the rain very rocky not hardly any grass when pulling my camper out ended up bottoming out and causing damage to my sway bars system. When trying to get wood they told us when they where ready they would tell us when we could come down and get it then they fussed on how much we got like they didn't think we needed that much. We will not go back there. Poor customer service.

Our family has an annual get-together here each year and we just love it here especially because of the friendly staff (name drop Ms. Tina is always awesome)! Add in some upgrades since last year and it was an even better stay. NOTE: Please try to keep the prices reasonable as we spent over $700.00 for a three night stay in two of your cabins and one RV campsite along with some firewood and misc.

We stayed for 3 nights, didn’t spend too much time at the campground except to sleep. It was nice and quiet, bathrooms were clean and air conditioned. We will stay here next time we come back to the lake.

We were surprised that no one was available when we checked in. The park is very hilly and the map is incorrect. It was hard to navigate and we were so happy we made it before dark. I don't think we would have been able to find our spot, much less back into it, if it had been dark. The pool was good and the rec room was well stocked but had a musty smell. Store almost non-existent.

We stayed in the new cabin and it was perfect for our family of 3. Would definitely stay again!

We stayed here for my Son's graduation from Basic Training at Fort Leonardwood. We had a great time. Place is clean and organized.

Our family stays here almost every year for our annual family camping trip before the grandkids go back to school. Plenty for them to do here and this KOA has updated a lot of their sites with new picnic tables, chairs, swings, and fire rings. The staff was great despite this Covid pandemic. Ms. Tina was very helpful and knowledgeable and took great care of us, thanks again Tina! See you next year

Bathhouse very clean. Staff very friendly and helpful. Roads a little rough and uneven. Reservation on line appeared to only have 2 spots available but there appeared to be many more on site.

Staying here was a wonderful experience. We used the Gazelle more as a hotel room at first only there in the evening to rest but then relaxed by the campfire the last two nights. It was wonderful to have a full kitchen and space to move in the living room and bathroom. The value for the price was unheard of. We were so close to the state parks and the Lake of the Ozark action. Thank you!

The host were very nice and hard working but the roads and campsite were another story. Sign said it was a new KOA. So the roads and sites are "I hope' going to get upgraded.

Friendly staff. The website overcharged us for our camping so the camp manager gave us complimentary firewood. Great game room and a piano too which I played to a small crowds delight

Our stay at the KOA was great!! All but 1 of the employees were very nice and courteous. The location was great except that is was right on the main road at the top of a hill so you heard a lot of semi engine breaking. Our girls loved the "camp cat" they named Bob for the week we were there!! The shower house and laundry room were great to have available! Pool and rec room were great too!

The campground is a great location for visit the area, but the campground it self is in bad shape. Roads need work the sites are to close together and not very well maintained. The pool and playground area are run down and in need of some serious work. The restroom and showers were great. I just feel that they know people will stay there and use it only as a base camp so they do not put the effort

We stayed in 1 of the vacation rental "apartments". It was very spacious and clean. It was definitely worth the price. The staff (and cat) were all very friendly.

Advertised as wooded sites. We had a site with no shade at all. There was only one person working the entire camp ground. There was garbage everywhere. We had a reservation and paid for two nights but forfeited the second night because we were so disappointed with the camp ground.

Large wooded spaces that were very level. Roads in and out are not great so be careful.

Sites are uneven,roads have deep ruts & need bladed/more gravel on them. Construction above us at cabins,shut off water & forgot? to turn back on so without water until 9:30 at night. They also blew a breaker so without electricity for 1/2-3/4 hours. “Manager” would not give a refund for the inconvenience not even half of a one day stay. I’m calling corporate on Monday. This was the worst KO

I was a little disappointed when I booked it it said it was an RV and when I got there it was a mobile home. It just didn't feel like camping being in a mobile home. It was pretty quiet but being next to the highway you could hear the highway. I feel being it wasn't exactly what I had booked I should have gotten money taken off.

Not our usual KOA. No one to check us in or take us to our sight. Checked in the next day but the office hours posted on door wasn't correct. Area looked like it could be improved. Pool was clean. We didn't use any other amenities on site. Cable TV was listed but never worked while we were there. Another camper stated that it hasn't worked in in over 5 months. We would consider staying again.

CAMPGROUND RESPONSE / COMMENTS:

We are short-handed; therefore, office hours are not always correct. We are phasing out of cable tv as more people are streaming. This is stated on our website.

Staff was very rude at check in. Maintience man was very nice. Advertised free cable. Got there no cable. Also, when asked about if our softball girls could come cook smores at campground. Was told no they could not. Have stayed at many KOA's throughout US and they also did not honor my ROUTE 66 discount of 10% will not stay here again.

I have to say to those reviews that are negative what is wrong with you!? This campground is the best place ever! Luis and Lori are sweet people and deserve to have the best reviews! I definitely say I love the area and recommend anyone to come out here for camping.
