Nice campground but I need to remember to pack a snow shovel this time of year.

Very well managed and groomed campground. Amenities are some of the best. Would have stayed longer but the snowy weather pushed us south for the Winter. Will be back since close to home and such nice facilities.

It was nice but a public street run right through the park so I didn’t feel safe and didn’t feel like we could leave anything out. We didn’t use any of the facilities so I can’t speak to that. We personally wouldn’t stay here again.

The central location of K O A west is great we were able to walk and ride our r z r throughout town, The hot pools, shops and restaurants are close, The site map and reservations were easy, The on site Office Manager and Grounds Keepers are polite and accommodating The Grounds are well kept, Restrooms and Showers are clean. I was rather disappointed with my stay. A fellow camper was violating both the no pets unattended and quiet time rules and there was no staff on hand to help deal with the situation. An after hours contact would be appreciated as I could t find any staff at 2:45 am and couldn’t stand the barking dog outside in its kennel any longer.

Great staff & facilities. A nice laid back place - we took in the springs & had some great food downtown (5 minute walk away). A bit noisy from the trains & traffic, but bearable.

Great stay by the water! Also we had some car issues Sunday and the young man working Sunday afternoon went the extra mile to help us get jump started. It was super appreciated and saved our trip

We love this KOA. Always friendly, clean, and well maintained. This is also a great location-you can walk to anything in town, including hot pots right across the street and a grocery store two doors down. We’ll be back!

Clean, well maintained, the new staff member was very nice at check-in. The bathrooms need a heater, but we’re clean and maintained well!

KOA is never my first choice when making my selection of an RV park. We have RV;d for over 35 years and have stayed in plenty of KOAs. I realize that I can purchase an annual membership for a 10% discount, but it has never penciled out for me. The park was very nice in a beautiful setting in central location. We were there for the soak in the mineral pools, mission accomplished.

We had a great time! The weather was beautiful, the campsite perfect, right next to river. We appreciated the very clean restrooms. We asked to have our fire pit covered because it was very close to our trailer and were concerned about accidentally falling in. A staff member quickly came and covered it with a board. We also enjoyed the soothing hot springs. We will definitely be back!

Many improvements made over past few years. Nice campground. Overwatering of grass results in unusable lawn areas and muddy gravel RV sites. It's October, grass does not need much water.

Sorry for being so negative but this was the worst stay we experienced at this particular koa. Water hydrant leaking, sewer backing up. Unable to clean out and paid for premium Wi-Fi but unable to connect to it. When checking out I mentioned all of the above issues but there didnt seem to be much concern nor apology for the inconveniences. I can honestly say i may not be back there.

Perfect location for the hot springs. Well maintained with clean bathrooms and showers. Front desk staff wasn’t as engaging as they could have been. Sites were level with an okay amount of space.

We chose this campground as it is the furthest from the highway and railroad tracks and close to downtown. It was quiet, clean, and well maintained, with nice mature trees providing shade. We loved the K9 Camp for our beagles. Our only complaint was that our site along the river was very muddy after the rain as much of the grassy area was worn down to dirt. We would definitely stay here again.

The KOA is very lovely. The town is very lovely. HOWEVER the trains every two to three hours ALL day and ALL night made the stay extremely terrible.

It's a bummer that we cannot control the railroad. The train route does go through Lava Hot Springs. We have earplugs at the store.

very nice setting. Peaceful sound of a clean flowing small river next to the camp site. Very clean bathrooms. What more could you ask for. Nice surrounding area to shop, eat, hot springs. Very nice A plus

Great place to stay if you are visiting the hot springs. Pools and Waterpark just across the street. Easy walking to any of the great shops in town. Back-in sites along the river are great. Owners take pride in the campsites and property. Clean showers and laundry. Beautiful cabins!

What a great spot for an RV! Right at the end of Main St, there's walking access to dining, shopping and hot springs pools. The park is clean, quiet and right next to the Portneuf River.

They have new RV pads just off the river, clean bathrooms and sits in the middle of town.
