Lava Hot Springs West KOA Holiday General Information

We offer camping cabins and deluxe cottages year round. The new deluxe cottages include kitchenettes, private bathroom w/showers and fireplace.  Located downtown and walking distance to the World Famous Hot Springs and seasonal Olympic Swimming Complex and year round Indoor Aquatic Center.  Be sure to bring your own linens and enjoy the luxuries of camping only "glamping".

Gifts, snacks, food, drinks, RV supplies and more! Forget something? We probably have it or can help you find it.

• Check in 3:00 pm and Check out 11:00 am.
  
• Year round lodging, and camping.
  
• Inquire about a 15% savings on tube rentals at check in. (seasonal)
  
• Fires are permitted at every site. Firewood is sold at the camp store.
  
• All visitors must register at registration office and obtain a parking pass.
  
• Quiet hours are between 10:00 pm - 8:00 am

Propane is not available at the KOA. SunnySide Sinclair gas station offers an LP dispensory.

Children's activities will be scheduled between Memorial Day and Labor Day.

Lava Hot Springs West KOA is in the center of town.  If traveling East on Hwy 30, exit into Lava Hot Springs under the speed slides.  As soon as you pass the Olympic Swimming Pool Complex and cross over the Portneuf River Bridge, turn immediately right onto West Portneuf Street.  Please park along West Portneuf Street and check in at the log cabin office located at the entrance of the campground.

Firewood is for sale at the camp store.  Any debris such as 2X4's, tree limbs/bushes, brought in by the guest, and left at their site will be charged a $50 garbage fee.

Pets are allowed at the Lava Hot Springs KOA West for a fee. Please inquire for details. All pets must be on a leash at all times.  No tolerance for unleashed pets.

Limited RV spaces are available with some precautionary restrictions due to cold temperatures. Please call for details. Tent sites are open only if weather permits. Laundry, playground, and jumping pillow are closed during the winter. Winter season dates are from 11/1 thru 3/31.  Cabins and Cottages available year round.  

We currently have free WIFI, and a Premium WIFI for a fee.

We have a laundry room located in our check-in building.

We are proud lifelong residents of Lava Hot Springs and purchased our campground in 2016. Since then, we've dedicated ourselves to enhancing the camping experience for our guests. Some of our completed upgrades include the addition of cozy camping cabins, expanded tent sites, a pavilion, a modern bathhouse, a playground, a paw pen for pets, and a laundromat. 

This year, we're excited to announce two major projects: the construction of Tilly's Pizzaria and the addition of six new cabins, each with private bathrooms. We're committed to creating a welcoming and memorable stay for everyone who visits our campground.
