Stay was good - site we were at was not the best but there were many other sites that would have been a lot better. We will be more selective the next opportunity we have to stay with KOA.

Staff is very helpful, knowledgeable, and extremely accommodating! Lovely sites and some of the cleanest showers/restrooms we've used. I would recommend this campground to everyone and look forward to be able to return to it!

Very friendly staff when we checked in and explained everything well. Finalized billing and took payment. Offered services available, firewood, etc. Staff was friendly around the grounds during our stay as well. We stay at least twice annually and love it.

We thought the site we chose was too small even though it was for a 25 ft. trailer. We went to the office and was able to upgrade to a pull through site. This was early spring so they had available places. The clerk was very nice and helpful.

Traveling and enjoying the beautiful country. Stopped for 2 days. This was absolutely the BEST KOA ever!!!! Because of Dave and Jenny, campground hosts,were courteous and pleasant. They have done an excellent job!!!! Kudos!! The ebike experience was fun!!

Comfortable and well located. Visit was excellent and xampground is very well done. Little expensive especially with extra charges for extra family members or vehicles. Feels a bit like being nickel and dimed for everything. Enjoyed it a bunch though.

Staff was very helpful and friendly! Sites were well groomed. Restrooms/showers were extremely clean--one of the best we have encountered at KOAs! Loved being within walking distance of everything. We will stay here again when in the area!

Great campground! Fairly small for a KOA campground so didn't have quite as many amenities as some we have stayed at but didn't really need them since there is a hot springs right across the street. Also very close to a very well stocked grocery store and several restaurants. It is about 10 miles off I15 but well worth it even for one night for the soak.

Doing a good job in a tough situation considering the MOUNTAINS of snow. We were cozy and comfortable. You might consider discounting the rate a bit when services like water hookup are difficult because of freezing temperatures. Thanks.

Friendly/helpful staff. Convenient location within walking distance to everything (groceries, attractions, Main Street shops/restaurants). Well kept grounds, very nice! My only complaint would be the sewer connection wasn’t kept cleared/couldn’t be located (still a LOT of snowfall). Recommend putting a small flag to locate. It was great, very happy we had a paved site in this end of winter wetness. Awesome location, super clean bathrooms, will definitely come again.

We had no hookups except electric but paid for full hookups. No water or sewer. Had to use the campground facilities and they were dirty. Maybe I just stayed at the wrong time? Camp host was awesome.

Great location except wear plugs at night due to the train horns and the illegal truck Jake brakes.

Although there was snow on the ground, Utilities were not cleared. I had to dig out my own Utilities to get to them.

We made our reservations after my wife specifically asked how much snow was in the KOA and the woman told her that is wasn't bad at all. After driving 7 hours we arrived and it was terrible. We were told that the water was shut off to the sites due to extreme temperatures in the winter. We paid the $100 plus and left two hours later. Deceptive by not being upright and forthcoming with us.

Just one night on the river in Dec. Pretty empty thus time of year enjoyed the quiet. Bathroom and shower great! Host Canda very nice!

Although our stay was after winter starts to settle in on Lava Hot Springs, I think it is the best time of year to visit and enjoy the world famous hot springs. There appear to be adequate camp facilities but we did not make use of them. Due to the chilly weather, we just hunkered down in our RV when not out and about in the quaint little downtown area. Jim, our camp host, was great!

Very well managed and groomed campground. Amenities are some of the best. Would have stayed longer but the snowy weather pushed us south for the Winter. Will be back since close to home and such nice facilities.

It was nice but a public street run right through the park so I didn’t feel safe and didn’t feel like we could leave anything out. We didn’t use any of the facilities so I can’t speak to that. We personally wouldn’t stay here again.

The central location of K O A west is great we were able to walk and ride our r z r throughout town, The hot pools, shops and restaurants are close, The site map and reservations were easy, The on site Office Manager and Grounds Keepers are polite and accommodating The Grounds are well kept, Restrooms and Showers are clean. Great place to stay if you are visiting the hot springs. Pools and Waterpark just across the street. Easy walking to any of the great shops in town. Back-in sites along the river are great. Owners take pride in the campsites and property. Clean showers and laundry. Beautiful cabins!

What a great spot for an RV! Right at the end of Main St, there's walking access to dining, shopping and hot springs pools. The park is clean, quiet and right next to the Portneuf River.

They have new RV pads just off the river, clean bathrooms and sits in the middle of town.
