The cabin was so clean and nice! We were so impressed! The campground was well cared for too! We loved the firepit and how close it was to everything. We will definitely be back!

They cabin we stayed in was clean and perfect for our family of 4. They staff was friendly, and they had a perfect little place to let the dogs run and play. I would highly recommend staying here!

Everything was great. The only problem I had is for the price of the cabin I stayed in, the bed could use a new mattress as well a size bigger.

We love staying at this KOA. Sometimes we stay in the cabins, sometimes we bring our RV, but every time it is a five star experience! Your staff is always friendly and helpful and the way you cater to pet owners is second to none.

Excellent campground. Close to downtown and hot pools. Clean neat cabins. Great camp spots by the river. Love this place!!! Lots of our friends stay here as well and we recommend it all the time!

Everything was great. Check in was fast and easy. We stayed in a camping cabin and I was a little nervous about the shared bathroom situation. I was pleasantly surprised. They were steps from the cabin, everything was super clean and new. The cabin was great and we had a really good time. We have stayed at both KOAs in Lava and both have been awesome. We will definitely stay at them again.

The cabin was very clean, it seemed a little pricey for what you get, we had to bring our own bedding and towels.

We rented one of the KOA's small cabins and had a wonderful time. The cabin was cozy and super clean. We made a fire in the outdoor fire pit and just enjoyed hanging out and visiting. It was a great weekend getaway for just my husband and I.

We stayed in Cabin #10. Very impressed with the amenities especially the fire which kept us so cozy on a winter's night. Very clean and modern.

Adorable cabins. We loved it. Would like to plan a longer trip. Only complaint was that the fireplace kept us up throughout the night because it would squeal.

Our stay was wonderful, made even better by two at the front desk who were extremely thoughtful, efficient, kind, happy and friendly. Jenny, who worked (Saturday pm on Thanksgiving weekend), I can’t say enough good things about her. Sooo welcoming. Makayla was just as great! Both are keepers.The cabin was spotless. Great cozy little cabin. Picture on website didn’t do it justice. Very clean. (We are sticklers about that) Bathrooms were pretty nice too. Good location to the lava pizza place as well. Amazing pizza!

I've stayed in the cabins a couple of times. It always mystifies me that there is not a hook or a rack to dry suits and towels on. Koa west is across the street from the hot springs........it's hard to dry items inside when it is freezing outside.

Had a wonderful stay in Cabin c21. It was very nice and cozy with stone fireplace and TV. Hot pools are just a short walk away on the other side of the street. Very friendly staff and cleaning bathrooms. Plenty of cabins and RV sites available I would recommend staying there to anyone it's Great ���

The only minus was the cabin was not cleaned very well. The counter was dirty and I had to ask for a broom because it was not swept well and there was dog hair everywhere. Also, it would be great if there were some hooks and shelves to put stuff on. Hard to dry suits and towels or stay somewhat organized. Can’t even hang up a jacket. The bathrooms were always very clean.

We stayed in a 2bd cabin. It was so comfortable. Definitely will stay again. We have stayed in Lava many times over the years and were prepared for the 2am train!

The mattress was covered in a thick plastic. My fitted sheet did have big pockets that covered the mattress. While I tried to sleep the sheet would pop off. The 3 nights I stayed was horrible. Also the sound of the plastic every time you move was annoying. I will not stay in these cabins again if they have plastic covering the beds. The rest if the cabin was the very nice.

Wonderful deluxe cabin was light, bright and spacious! Location is great for walking around town or taking the shuttle for tubing on the river.

We have stayed at several koa’s and I must say this one was one of the best. The bathrooms were clean, the staff was friendly, and the cabin we stayed in was great. We will definitely be returning.

We are a senior couple. We rented one cabin site unseen. Our 3 adult kids & their young families stayed in the other three cabins. The cabins were clean and very modern. It was ever family vacation. We will be doing it again next summer. The entire facility far exceeded all our expectations. The staff was outstanding. If I could rate our stay it would be well above a 10. The whole experience was .

The cabin was wonderful. It exceed out expectations; however, there were minor issues when it came to get some rest. We were expecting a queen bed, but to our surprise it was a full. And the air conditioner woke us up like every half an hour. Overall the stay was fabulous.

Everything was great. The cabins were clean and just what we needed. I only wish you had more deluxe ones. The one cabin had the perfect place for an evening fire. It was secluded and in the shade. We had a wonderful stay.

Great place to stay if you are visiting the hot springs. Pools and Waterpark just across the street. Easy walking to any of the great shops in town. Back-in sites along the river are great. Owners take pride in the campsites and property. Clean showers and laundry. Beautiful cabins!

What a great spot for an RV! Right at the end of Main St, there's walking access to dining, shopping and hot springs pools. The park is clean, quiet and right next to the Portneuf River.
