We were not able to be camp next to the river like years past, but everything else was enjoyable and memorable. Personnel were very nice and accommodating. Look forward to returning next year.

Friendly and helpful staff. Clean area, nice updates. My concern is how expensive it was for a few days. I'm not sure our family will be able to return.

My favorite thing was all the children laughing and playing. And easy walk to a very cool town. Oh yes, your staff was awesome!!

The only issue we have is the train whistle blowing 3 times during the sleeping hours.

Originally we were assigned site T30. It is not suitable for a tent site. There is a natural spring and standing water. We requested to be moved and were a assigned a much better site. T30 should not be for tent camping. Other than that, the amenities are nice and it is a prime location in Lava Hot Springs

Sorry for the situation with T30. The natural spring is flowing more water this year than in the past. Drainage system improvements are under construction.

We have been coming to Lava for about 20 years. We have only stayed at your 2 KOA’s!!! So many great memories! There is usually around 30-40 of us. Some tent, some trailers and some use the cabins. Your 2 tent sites were awesome for our group!!! Please never change those! Thank you thank you for the beautiful campgrounds and memories!

most expensive KOA we stayed in over a 2 month period. Place is listed as "KOA Holiday", however there is no pool, no food, no amenities other than laundry, bathroom, showers. Oh yea...there is a river running through the property, but they do not rent float items. Owner has "Nazis" policy of 3pm check-in. No exceptions. BS. by the time you can get to your site the day is half over.

It's tight, people's trailers aren't getting any smaller. It's in a easily accessible location near the river which was nice. The people working there were very courteous and nice.

WE LOVE THIS PLACE! So close to town and tubing! The staff at the KOA is so fun and easy to talk with. We loved staying here and already booked it for the next summer! Can’t wait!

No the price was out the roof. It didn’t provide a pool because it was next-door to the Hot Spring pool. It is definitely a location location location spot.

We had such a great time. They were very accommodating when we asked to move sites where there was some grass. Definitely will book again next year. Staff was great, bathrooms and campsites were very clean.

Campground has a very late check in time - 3pm. This makes it very hard for travelers when they refuse to allow early checkin times. Aside from that terrible customer service policy, the campground was clean and quiet

Very power hungry front desk guy. White, middle aged, glasses. Wouldn't let us check in even though our spots were ready. Sitting around the campfire at night security came and started harassing us but didn't say a word to other campers playing loud music. Can't describe fully in 400 characters that this form allows. Campsites were too close together and no place to go if you arrive early. This place is not close to anything therefore making sure don’t arrive before 3 is hard

We have been going to Lava for about 30 years. We have always stayed at this camp ground. It used to be called River's Edge. Since it became a KOA there has been so many upgrades and it is a awesome place to stay. It is close to town, pool, and grocery store. I recommend it!!

Very centrally located in the heart of Lava. Walking distance to everywhere we wanted to go. It was a little busy for our taste, but that just means it’s good for business for you. The sewer hook ups next to the river were out of place to be able to use them. We ended up just stopping by a Maverick on the way home to dump.

It’s always a great time, the hoards of people up drinking and being loud all night is kind of annoying! Not everyone comes to party, I have drinks but I’m always considerate of my neighbors! I think they need someone patrolling loud groups of annoying drunks! We paid for premium wifi and it never worked, tried talking with the guy and he was no help! Overall we always have a great time!

KOA has done a marvelous job updating this camp area. Very inviting & clean. Camp hosts were great. Bath & shower rooms were great. We will be coming back!

Nice spot by the river. Clean restroom.close to lava hot springs motel pools. Fairly quiet at night except for Latecomers Pulling in and blinding you with their headlights

Camp grounds need work badly. It is a mucky mess when it rains. Our motor home has never been this dirty after one day there. They could at least put some gravel over the rv spots and roads.

We stayed in DK10, it is too expensive for what it is. The bed is extremely uncomfortable and our cabin did not have a freezer section of the fridge but we have stayed in Dk9 before and DK9 did have one so we had prepared for that and brought frozen items. Also some minor things were the towel rack was broken and the toilet paper holder kept falling causing the roll of toilet paper to fall.

Great place to stay if you are visiting the hot springs. Pools and Waterpark just across the street. Easy walking to any of the great shops in town. Back-in sites along the river are great. Owners take pride in the campsites and property. Clean showers and laundry. Beautiful cabins!

What a great spot for an RV! Right at the end of Main St, there's walking access to dining, shopping and hot springs pools. The park is clean, quiet and right next to the Portneuf River.

They have new RV pads just off the river, clean bathrooms and sits in the middle of town.
