We absolutely loved our stay! The campground was clean, peaceful, and very well maintained. Check-in was easy and smooth, which made arriving stress-free. Everyone was friendly and welcoming throughout our trip. A special thank you to Kimberly — she was amazing! I absolutely loved the stay, everything was great had a good time thank you! One suggestion if I may, I would look into possibly doing a complete spray of the grounds for mosquitos or another alternative could be placing some mosquito and nat traps in the trees. Thank you we will be back!!!! P.S thanks for the delicious pancakes!!!

I loved this place hands down, friendly staff, we camped out for one day in our tent. We had to check in early (check in is at 3 o’clock) so there was a $25 early check in fee which I didn’t mind because they probably have to pay there workers to hurry up and clean up the space if it’s not ready which they did and they did their best to clean up up while I got my rent ready! All in all it was a very nice KOA. The only issue was the women's bathroom, which was obviously undergoing massive construction and yet still open for use. It was extremely dirty, with broken concrete, drywall, tools and god lord the number of spiders. I was glad I didn't try to bring my kid into the bathroom, apparently the men's bathroom was fine. That bathroom should have been closed for safety

I have been coming here with my family for a few years now. This campground is very nice and the staff are very friendly. This place is well maintained and not to far from the river or lake.

A great location!! The staff are the absolute BEST! The facilities clean and the pub/saloon was our favorite. I will be back before the year ends!

I liked it. It was a nice experience and the ice cream event or pancakes Sunday was nice I enjoyed the pool and playground too I wa glad there wasn’t that many ants or mosquitos Over all nice, staff friendly too

This is or first time staying at koa /lake Isabella . Me and my family like it because the employees from there they were friendly and always had a good attitude .also everything was very clean

Staff was wonderful but the tent spots need more shade, you need more trees for shade, too bare with blazing sun and a bigger pool. Our stay was very nice but needs more shade

This KOA is clean and the staff is friendly. The location is minutes to lake access and the Kern River.

Check in was great. The lady at the front desk was incredibly nice. Set up my tent and went back to the little saloon where she made me some wings and beer on tap. Again very nice and sweet. Bathroom weren’t the best. But I’m usually spoiled in my own rv. First time tent camping in a while. Lots of shade for the tent sites and made my solo motorcycle trip perfect. Will definitely come back.

It was awesome, the bathrooms and showers were clean and stocked, the staff was friendly and nice, the campground was clean. Over all a great location! (Campsites were very close together- but thats ok)

There was a lot of drug use and an incident involving one of the workers chasing someone around with a gun and police activity.

Enjoyed the KOA, only thing we did not enjoy was red ants popped up all over our site the 2 day there. Our site also hard hardly any shade glad we had a easy up with us.

It was very disappointing to be put directly next to another group of people, only to have them leave and another loud party showed up and pitched tents directly next to us. There were at least 15 other empty tent sites at the time. Ice cream social and pancake breakfast were nice.

Enjoyed it a lot. But very busy. No water spigots at 29,30,31 tentsites. Great access to lake Izzy, Kerrville. Well maintained. Pool was wonderful. Keep up the good work. Liked the saloon also!

It's always a little strange to see people clearly living in the campground. All the people that we talked to who worked there were awesome! They even helped us out with a cabin option in case we needed it for the wind. The woman who cleaned the bathrooms was AWESOME! She clearly cared.

It really was a great stay. The ice cream social was cool. The pancakes Sunday morning was awesome!!!! The only complaint would be that the pool was not heated. The staff was amazing!!!!!!!

Very lovely tenant who was very helpful. Nice clean and warm showers. There was also a kitchen facility. A very welcoming environment that makes it up for the closeness to the highway.

Stayed here with my two young kids. Overall, our stay was positive, with the sluice and the pancake breakfast big hits with the kids. Our campsite was clean and well maintained. The pool looked nice and clean (we didn't have time to swim, unfortunately). The playground definitely needs some work, but we managed to find other activities to keep us occupied, including a small mini golf area.

The men’s bathroom needs a lot of maintenance only three toilets were operational and one of the shower was broke. The staff was great the sites were great.

The stay was fine but I do agree with other reviewers that this KOA could use a facelift. The camp sites are small, you can enjoy your neighbors music 24/7 if you like their music. The playground could use more amenities. The pool was fine. They keep it very clean, just on the small side but that's why there's a lake 10 minutes away.

The ladies who work in the office are absolutely amazing! Helpful and kind! We had an amazing time and campground is kept up very well and very clean! Everything you need is there! If you havent stayed there, I recommend highly!

Love the rustic feel. That’s what camping should feel like. I used a tent site that was very clean and functional. The young lady who checked me in was friendly, professional, and helpful.

We got to our tent site just before sunset since it was a last minute trip. The woman at the store/ conceriege was very helpful and welcoming. Everyone respected the quiet hours and we left early in the morning. Camp sites looked cleaned and cabins well kept, at least from the outside since that's all we saw. We appreciated the proximity and availability of restrooms.

Staff are super sweet and nice / The only thing was bathroom was not clean enough and it was pretty empty . Also the lights in the walking lane were out . Made it difficult to see at night too dark . Night lights were out . Also pool was dirty and would have been nice to be in since was very hot . Store needs to be stocked with more items / had to go to other stores to buy stuff Thank you

Location very handy, albeit a little noisy as next to the road. Wasn't clear how to pay out of hours, but staff were lovely and happy to take my booking in the morning.

The only thing that I didn’t like it was the noise of the cars, because we were literally at the road where the cars were passing. The other thing was that there were no grass at all!!

Really nice place with the exception of restroom and pool areas. The areas need more cleaning. Pool water was really dirty with lots of debris floating and restrooms and shower area along with sinks were very dirty. Other than this place is nice to stay with the family.

I haven't tried the rooms but used the RV space. The campsite is clean enough and the camp hosts are very helpful and thoughtful. They put on different entertainment events for the kids (like rock painting and an ice cream social) and the adults alike. There's plenty of shade but also plenty of mosquitos.

We went here while they were doing some renovations, but it did not detract at all! We brought a camper and were easily able to locate and park. The staff were amazing and so helpful checking us in too. The campsite is well shaded and has lots of amenities. They had a camp store, pub, a pool( which we got a lot of use out of), a ghost town themed playground with swings, camp kitchen(with a microwave), games(like horseshoe and giant tetris) plus a sluice. We bought two giant bags of rocks and had so much fun. They also have planned activities during the weekend like icecream social, pancake breakfast, popcorn, and rock painting. The only downside is mosquitos so be sure to bring bug spray and citronella.
