No potable water. Tent sites ground was very hard and difficult to drive stakes. Price was high considering these things. Staff was friendly and helpful.

Really close to campsite neighbors. Tons of gnats before sunset then tons of mosquitoes after sunset. Additionally, tons of spiders all-day & all-night.

Your staff was exceptional. Very welcoming and helpful. The sights were a little tight compared to other KOAs in California. My suggestion is to keep moving forward with your bathroom renovation and do the shower areas. They all need a bench or chair to set personal items while showering and the floors needed maintenance and cleaning. Your KOA is quiet and restful. Thank you !

I would give a 5 star but Campsite was smaller than we expected. Bathrooms were clean and that’s a huge plus! The entire place was maintained clean and staff were all so nice and welcoming! We would definitely be coming back.

The staff was phenomenal and the stay was great. I work at a bait shop in Bakersfield and I’ve already been recommending it to clients that come in looking for camp ground suggestions. Really appreciated my stay!

The campground was a little smaller than I thought it would be but it was the most peaceful camping Ive ever had. The scenery is gorgeous, the hospitality is tremendous and its easy access to the lake. Cant wait to come back!

My 10yo daughter had an amazing time. The staff, Jacqui and Allison, were warm and accommodating. The sites and all of the amenities were clean. This is a great place to camp!

Staff absolutely incredible, tent sites are clean, bathrooms were clean. Would only recommend to update playground areas for children.

Rude staff. No water like our reservation said. Tent was messed with and office didn’t care at all. No one ever came around. Got yelled at for using showers because no one even knew we were campers even though we had a window rag.

This wasn’t our first time staying at the KOA in Lake Isabella. Me and my wife, and dogs have enjoyed staying there in the past. But this time we had a bit of an unpleasant stay. We feel the restroom should be posted on a scheduled time to be cleaned. Also there was lots of noise by dogs all hours of the night.

This place is beautiful. However, due to lack of cleanliness and some rude staff I give it a low rating. Restroom was very dirty and smelly throughout stay. Close to check out time at 11 am the maintenance male decided to clean restroom. Common sense is that people who are checking out usually want to use restroom before leaving and driving for a long trip. Theater area no longer in service.

Only issues were the woman’s bathroom wasn’t clean as it should have and the pool was cloudy. Other than that it was pretty great stay. Everyone was super nice. I’ll be back again soon.

Tent camp one night stay isabella camping and has shower,swimming pool,i wish i can stay more next time ,when i walked to office to check in the lady so nice and friendly explaining what i have questions thank you lady..only thing our site was very close to hwy 178 and every time car truck passed by so knowing ! I recommend do not get spot cross to front site, i definitely come back again KOA !!

It was fine. the pool needs to be more cleaner . also more monitoring at night during quiet time. their were some people who had the music super loud. mens bathroom was dirty ( feces on the wall) . have more evening activities . we loved the ice cream social. thank you over all we love staying here. thank you again. !!!

Our annual family reunion changed locations this year. The reserved sites had shade. The river had a strong current and we were not able to enter so we used the community pool and had a blast. The restrooms were clean and heated at night. They had a social ice cream and Sunday morning pancakes. Small gestures, but valuable for a large group with babies, teens, parents, and grandparents. Thank you.

The property was really run down. I arrived at 5:40 and the office closed at 5. It said online and in an email and in a text that my info would be posted on a cork board. I found the cork board, but there was no info. There was also no map so I couldn't find the right kind of camp spot and I couldn't use the bathroom because I didn't have any info.

The stay was a very good experience. The only negative was that the bathrooms/showers were not working. The males restrooms were down so I had to use the women's restrooms. Later, they closed down all restrooms/showers and we were required to use Cabin 76 for facilities. Hopefully, that will be remedied the second time around. Anyway, beautiful location and place.

Food was way over priced. $20 for a round piece of dough and cheese. The bathroom didn't have hot water. Shower floors were questionable. Tent sites were right on the highway...noisy.

The tent sites are very shady and are more than large enough for our 10x14 tent (we could fit two of those tents easy). Staff are fantastic-very helpful and friendly!

We went to Lake Isabella KOA for Labor Day weekend. It was a great time. The facility was clean and everyone was very kind and helpful. We will definitely be staying here again. Thank you for the wonderful memories.

Of all the options in the area, KOA had all the amenities we needed. My only critique is that the area I camped was infested with black widows all along the wall where the electrical outlets were. I didn't see them till night time. Spider, roaches, and water bugs were EVERYWHERE at night. You may want to have the area treated. If it weren't for the insect problem, I would give you 5 stars all day.

We had a great stay, there was much shade at our tent site, which is good! The bathrooms were being renovaties, but that caused no trouble.

I haven't tried the rooms but used the RV space. The campsite is clean enough and the camp hosts are very helpful and thoughtful. They put on different entertainment events for the kids (like rock painting and an ice cream social) and the adults alike. There's plenty of shade but also plenty of mosquitos.

We went here while they were doing some renovations, but it did not detract at all! We brought a camper and were easily able to locate and park. The staff were amazing and so helpful checking us in too. The campsite is well shaded and has lots of amenities. They had a camp store, pub, a pool( which we got a lot of use out of), a ghost town themed playground with swings, camp kitchen(with a microwave), games(like horseshoe and giant tetris) plus a sluice. We bought two giant bags of rocks and had so much fun. They also have planned activities during the weekend like icecream social, pancake breakfast, popcorn, and rock painting. The only downside is mosquitos so be sure to bring bug spray and citronella.
