We paid the twenty-five dollars to come in early, I was told that the site was open and that no one was there the night before. The site was dirty we counted over 21 plus cigarette butts all over the site and the fire pit was half full of someone else’s fire. I don’t think it was right to charge us for a dirty site. I told them in the office there response was oh and nothing was done all weeke

The showers need some help! However the staff is outstanding and always ready to help out. the grounds was very nice, and fishing was neart by about a 10-20 minute drive so that was a plus the little store on site had most of the things you might need. overall it was nice and plesant.

We enjoyed our stay, staff was very friendly and helpful. Our site was level, and a good size for 33ft 5th wheel. We would definitely stay here again.

The setting at this campground is very nice, that’s about it. The bathrooms were filthy- the worst I’ve ever seen at any campground!! The charton the wall looked like they had not been cleaned in 4 days! They were also in serious disrepair! The paint on the floor is chipped off and looks horrendous! Two out of 3 paper towel dispensers were broken! Soap dispenser in ladies bathroom broken.

Check in was very easy. There are some long term residents that were a bit loud after 10:00pm. Other than that is was a nice stay

It was an overnight stay which worked for our needs. We did not use any amenities so we can comment. It looked old, but maybe that is the look they were going for. It could use some sprucing up. But in an area with not many campgrounds, it was very helpful for us on our journey.

We found this kind of a hill billy campground with a KOA name on it. Sites were ok. Bathrooms need more attention and more ventilation.

I don't generally provide revues but, the hospitality at Lake Isabella/Kern River KOA was top notch. Personally, I love the rustic charm, and the staff is very attentive. I'd definitely stay again!

This was our second year meeting family here. We had a great time. The camp is well kept and many updates have been made. The staff is amazingly helpful and friendly. The pool area has lots of covered area to socialize with family and friends and get relief from the sun. The kids also loved the ice cream socials! I would however, get a new hostess for karaoke. This campground was perfect for our long weekend. It’s a smaller “family owned vibe” campground that is well cared for. The staff were all super friendly, the events were entertaining, and our boys loved the pool.

We had a very very nice time the whole weekend it was great. Not the KOA’s fault but got a little nervous. When they had to shut down early on the day’s leaving, but that’s OK. We had a good great time.

The facilities are great. The staff was awesome. The only problem we had was some other patrons staying in the cabin behind us were smoking pot that was coming through our campsite and gave my wife a headache that kept her up all night. Other than that, it was a good experience.

Disappointed overall. Front desk person nice but maintenance person was not. Power pedestal only provided 99 volts causing EMS to trip, only solution was to remove. Person sharing pedestal was running 50 amp on 30 amp socket but was long term so they would not ask to correct. Water provided is also non potable. Worse KOA experience on trip of 10 different stays

Glad we arrived midweek as it got very busy over the weekend! Very dusty, Dig run is small for big dogs Pool was nice and outdoor kitchen also nice. Camp sites are small and very close to each other .

My wife and I camped for 5 days. The experience was nothing less than exceptional. The camp grounds and facilities are maintained by a caring and attentive team. We are definitely coming back.

The KOA site was reasonably priced & comfortable. Overall the location was clean & quiet. The pool was very nice & refreshing. Unfortunately the bathrooms were the worst part of our stay. They were not cleaned or stocked during our stay. They are in desperate need of refurbishment. WiFi didn’t work. The young lady checking us in was the highlight of our stay. Bathrooms were filthy. Campground was below KOA standard and was not well maintained. Campsites were on top of each other, no room in between.

We asked 3 times if we can have a different site since the site we were given had no shade and plenty of others were available when we first arrived! They couldn’t accommodate and being that I am high risk in my pregnancy it would have been nice to have way better communication rather than being ignored! Definitely won’t go bac

We had a great stay at this KOA location. All of the staff was very helpful and friendly. The staff keeps this campground very well kept and maintained. Our kids had fun swimming in the very clean pool, the playground, volleyball court, and the RC car track. Thanks again for a great weekend!!!

I have been rving for 25 years and this KOA is one of worst I've stayed at. The pancake breakfast was terrible, the lady that was cooking was rude making sure I understood that she was closing at 9 Sharpe when she closed at 844 half of my crew didn't make it. The limit was two 4 inch pancakes, what a joke. The entire park was ran down half the equipment not working like the splash pad.

The campground was nice. However the splash pad was not open and the pancake breakfast was supposed to last until 9am, but the stopped at 8:50. And it was not because they ran out. They limited it to 2 pancakes per person.

We only stayed one night. But it was a very nice KOA, very clean and well maintained. Allison was terrific and friendly. We enjoyed a hot breakfast sandwich and biscuits and gravy in the pub on the property

This campground is similar to other KOA’s. Reliable. The only one issue I found is that walking the grounds, where the 3 small cabins are several flees jumó on me. Got bitten while getting out of the area.

Pros: lots of shade from very mature trees, very quiet campground, respectful and kind staff. Cons: facilities need updates and better upkeep. Women’s bathroom overrun with bugs, without any clean space to set things down. Both men’s and women’s bathrooms did not get refreshed very often and many stalls did not have toilet paper. Charged a $25 early check in fee for arriving at 11:30am. I have been a KOA member for years and have stayed at many locations and never once been charged a fee for arriving early. What bothered me is this campground was not even close to being at full capacity my entire stay, not to mention, the splash pad was out of order and not working which was why I chose this campground to begin with. LAME!

I haven't tried the rooms but used the RV space. The campsite is clean enough and the camp hosts are very helpful and thoughtful. They put on different entertainment events for the kids (like rock painting and an ice cream social) and the adults alike. There's plenty of shade but also plenty of mosquitos.

We went here while they were doing some renovations, but it did not detract at all! We brought a camper and were easily able to locate and park. The staff were amazing and so helpful checking us in too. The campsite is well shaded and has lots of amenities. They had a camp store, pub, a pool( which we got a lot of use out of), a ghost town themed playground with swings, camp kitchen(with a microwave), games(like horseshoe and giant tetris) plus a sluice. We bought two giant bags of rocks and had so much fun. They also have planned activities during the weekend like icecream social, pancake breakfast, popcorn, and rock painting. The only downside is mosquitos so be sure to bring bug spray and citronella.
