The men’s bathroom needs a lot of maintenance only three toilets were operational and one of the shower was broke. The staff was great the sites were great.

My family and I had an amazing experience. The staff was friendly the facility was clean and we really enjoyed ice cream night and pancake morning .

We really enjoyed our stay. The campground is very clean with nice facilities. It was also very quiet in the evenings. The staff was also incredibly helpful when it came to hiking recommendations. It's a short drive into Kernville/Lake Isabella, but we were in Weldon for a fundraiser, so this location was perfect for us.

The staff was very friendly. And they offer free pancakes for breakfast. Great. But sadly flash zone was closed. Playground are just a few older houses and the Campground was overall sadly very scruffy...

We have been coming here for over 15 years. The koa staff is amazing! The grounds are clean and very accommodating, no matter what your camping style. We have rented basic cabins, brought our 5th wheel and rented the furnished cabins. The manager, Mona is exceptionally friendly and very accommodating. It’s a little far from us, but we continue to come back because this is our go to!! Thank you a

Good stay, friendly people. Dirt sites but mostly clean. Bathroom had about half of the stalls “Out of Order”. My biggest complaint, which seems to be a growing trend at KOAs, is the amount of permanent residents. I’m not bothered by the fact that there are permanent residents but with the fact that they all seem to not care about keeping their sites clean.

This was our 2nd stay at Lake Isabella KOA, and this time we stayed in a regular cabin. Cabin was nice. Would only recommend a better AC unit for the summertime. The bathrooms were clean, but could use some updates/maintenance. Kids playground and splash pad/mini golf could also use some upgrades/maintenance. The staff is one of the main reasons we will keep returning in the future to this KOA.

The cabin had nowhere conditioning that wasn't worth a darn. The bathrooms were in sanitary and half the toilets didn't work. I don't know what else to say I was very saddened after staying there before during memorial Day weekend. But the place needs a great improvements and Ductlesss split systems put in the cabins all cabins.

I understand the desert like all dirt park. However, the restrooms were the worst I’ve ever seen at a KOA. So many out of order others broken, and the place was filthy.

The stay was fine but I do agree with other reviewers that this KOA could use a facelift. The camp sites are small, you can enjoy your neighbors music 24/7 if you like their music. The playground could use more amenities. The pool was fine. They keep it very clean, just on the small side but that's why there's a lake 10 minutes away.

This place was so dirty. The bathrooms and showers were filthy and run down. Once we arrived, we were told that the water was contaminated and not to drink it. It had a terrible odor. The pool was dirty and cloudy from kids in the pool in diapers. I will never stay there again

Bathroom cleaning The cleaning crew closes the bathroom for cleaning in the morning, which is a busy time for all campers. Since there is no secondary bathroom available, changing the cleaning schedule would make it easier for campers to use the bathroom in the morning. Your consideration of this change is greatly appreciated.

The ladies who work in the office are absolutely amazing! Helpful and kind! We had an amazing time and campground is kept up very well and very clean! Everything you need is there! If you havent stayed there, I recommend highly!

Love the rustic feel. That’s what camping should feel like. I used a tent site that was very clean and functional. The young lady who checked me in was friendly, professional, and helpful.

Overall good, however, the shower knob is too sensitive and should be replaced with a separate knob system for hot and cold. Also the refrigerator had bad smell but maintenance promptly came to address. Wish a backup was available. Mona is a great manager, personable, friendly, and helpful. Great staff overall, however facility could use both small and major upgrades.

Pool broken. Burners in outdoor kitchen broken. No TP in bathrooms. Worst, AC did not work in cabins.

Super attentive and friendly staff. They go above and beyond to make sure you are safe, comfortable and plan super fun weekly activities that create a sense of community and belonging. This was my first ever visit to the area in general and I brought a bunch of hiking friends with me. We will be back. Loved the pool in between hiking and kayaking on the lake and soaking in the kern river.

We got to our tent site just before sunset since it was a last minute trip. The woman at the store/ conceriege was very helpful and welcoming. Everyone respected the quiet hours and we left early in the morning. Camp sites looked cleaned and cabins well kept, at least from the outside since that's all we saw. We appreciated the proximity and availability of restrooms.

The Staff was very nice and kind. But the restrooms and the showers ar so ugly. Not because of the cleanliness, this was ok, but everything is so old and the showers ar totaly rotten we doesnt want to use. It was not worth the money. We better choose a statepark campsite that would be in a better condition.

We have been full time RV’ers for six years and have stayed in KOA’s all over the country and this is by far the worst we have seen! Run down facilities, trashy. Pool looked filthy.. At least the electric hook up worked.

It’s very nice having shade trees to help keep it cool. The place needs lots of work to get up to KOA standards. The bathrooms were very dirty and needed lots of repairs and the laundry room had missing machines They could use gravel everywhere to keep the dust down The place needed repairs everywhere The staff was nice and helpful

I haven't tried the rooms but used the RV space. The campsite is clean enough and the camp hosts are very helpful and thoughtful. They put on different entertainment events for the kids (like rock painting and an ice cream social) and the adults alike. There's plenty of shade but also plenty of mosquitos.

We went here while they were doing some renovations, but it did not detract at all! We brought a camper and were easily able to locate and park. The staff were amazing and so helpful checking us in too. The campsite is well shaded and has lots of amenities. They had a camp store, pub, a pool( which we got a lot of use out of), a ghost town themed playground with swings, camp kitchen(with a microwave), games(like horseshoe and giant tetris) plus a sluice. We bought two giant bags of rocks and had so much fun. They also have planned activities during the weekend like icecream social, pancake breakfast, popcorn, and rock painting. The only downside is mosquitos so be sure to bring bug spray and citronella.
