Charged a $25 early check in fee for arriving at 11:30am. I have been a KOA member for years and have stayed at many locations and never once been charged a fee for arriving early. What bothered me is this campground was not even close to being at full capacity my entire stay, not to mention, the splash pad was out of order and not working which was why I chose this campground to begin with. LAME!

Not up to usual standard for a KOA journey. I have stayed at many. Sites are level with fine silt which turns to mud when wet. WiFi onward connection was inoperative. T-Mobile LTE very weak signal. Verizon useable. I selected a backin site with electric and water intending to dum next morning. But the dump station was closed. $15 charge for using a full service pull thru!

Lake Isabella KOA was a great last minute spot we found. Needs a little facelift but otherwise very comfortable with all the amenities one can ask for.

There was a lot of drug use and an incident involving one of the workers chasing someone around with a gun and police activity.

We really enjoyed our time there. The no bathroom cabin was perfect for our family. Clean, offered shade, and working air conditioner. The weekday front desk woman was very helpful in answering all my questions and giving suggestions of places to visit and places to eat when I inquired. Pool was clean and well kept. The attached kiddy pool was perfect for my toddler.

Wonderful & excellent stay. Very Friendly, accommodating & service oriented staff, extremely clean cabins and beautifully kept grounds. Loved that the pool was very nice too!

It was mid June. I expected summer crowds but no. Our site with full hookups had no one on either side. It was level, partially shaded from a tree and very peaceful. Our site was furthest from Hwy 178 so there was no road noise. The bathrooms had working showers. The Wifi was very weak (maybe stronger closer to the office but didn’t run any tests to see.) The pool was clean and very inviting.

Enjoyed the KOA, only thing we did not enjoy was red ants popped up all over our site the 2 day there. Our site also hard hardly any shade glad we had a easy up with us.

Everything was nice but they need to update there beds. The beds are hard as a rock idk how people sleep on these things.

Everyone there was very helpful things that would be even more helpful is more accessibility to bathroom for disability The Walker rolling on gravel is very difficult for the bare Bones cabin a little more air but all in all very good for the 2 hours we stayed very friendly very clean went out of their way to assist with my client it was a really really hot day thank you again.

The people at this KOA is why I would come back. Mona was so nice, Kevin and Jeff kept the campground so clean and always willing to help. Kimberly went above and beyond for my 50th birthday group. While we were white water rafting, she helped my daughter who is about seven months pregnant. Decorate the pavilion and she painted me a picture so my friends could put their thumbprints on it.

It was very disappointing to be put directly next to another group of people, only to have them leave and another loud party showed up and pitched tents directly next to us. There were at least 15 other empty tent sites at the time. Ice cream social and pancake breakfast were nice.

Our AC window unit was so old it could not cool our tiny cabin, making it very uncomfortable. The staff did bring in the GIANT swamp cooler from the office which helped with the temp but it was like trying to sleep in a wind tunnel. One of the showers was out of order. The camp kitchen water was out of order. All in all I was very disappointed with this KOA and cannot recommend it.

We came with a large group that had various camping needs so the facility was perfect because of the variety of choices. Ramona check d us all in easily and quickly. She also made everything clear. The maintenance team of Jeff and Kevin did an excellent job of cleaning the facility and taking care of any concerns. Allison was always super friendly and even helped us get our party set up.

Rhonda has a spectacular team. They were all kind to us and very accommodating. Kimberly, Allison, Kevin, Pancake Chef, Pool Clearner (sorry I don't remember their names), all did special things through our stay to make it extra special. Kimberly even brought over paints our last night for the grandkids to paint more rocks. It was a great time with some of us in a cabin and some in a trailer.

Air conditioning did not work called Maintenance and Management after hours and NO answer. There was no compensation for the inconvenience. The trash cans were always full or overflowing.

Our stay was the best we ever had, staff was super frendly & atentive of any of our needs, popcorn, ice cream , pankakes were also the best (especialy because they were free-lol. All of my 80 person group will definitely come back.

Enjoyed it a lot. But very busy. No water spigots at 29,30,31 tentsites. Great access to lake Izzy, Kerrville. Well maintained. Pool was wonderful. Keep up the good work. Liked the saloon also!

It's always a little strange to see people clearly living in the campground. All the people that we talked to who worked there were awesome! They even helped us out with a cabin option in case we needed it for the wind. The woman who cleaned the bathrooms was AWESOME! She clearly cared.

Unfortunately the campground is too close to the loud highway. We were there for the fishing tournament and on Saturday the campground was pretty full but they closed the pub at 4pm. Luckily they opened the pool for the kids since the weather was nice. Upon check in, they should mention the dog, Brandy that's locked up all day. Felt bad for her :( please make sure she has water in the heat.

The KOA in Coleville, I think this is the best KOA that I’ve ever gone. If I ever come back here I would come here again for sure. The manager, Tim, is a very helpful manager.

An obviously old park. could use a refurb. Especially the shower facility. Biggest gripe was WiFi. Manager said it is always a problem. Obviously did not care. blamed it on the provider. My guess is no incentive to shop for a better service. I would not stay there again. My rank of a 3 was generous.

Cheerful staff, clean facilities. Pull through spots are partially shaded and level. Dam Korner Cafe in Lake Isabella made a terrific club sandwich to go! The potatoe salad was delicious!

We arrived late but there was only a blanket on the bed and the other person didn’t .I found out later that I had to pay for a blanket.The Internet wasn’t connected so when I asked later they said I had to pay more to connect. The campground is convenient to Lake Isabella, but not on the lake. Sites are basic, with several sites occupied with long term campers. Our back-in site was short but shady. Office has a saloon adjacent to the office, with bar food and beer offerings. Clean bathrooms and a well-maintained pool. It’s good for a one-nighter while traveling up the scenic east side of the Sierras.

The Staff was Great, Bathrooms were clean but the pub closed at 4 PM and if you wanted a pizza you needed to order by 3 PM and check in is at 3 PM. The Staff was very helpful and Customer Service was a priority.

I haven't tried the rooms but used the RV space. The campsite is clean enough and the camp hosts are very helpful and thoughtful. They put on different entertainment events for the kids (like rock painting and an ice cream social) and the adults alike. There's plenty of shade but also plenty of mosquitos.

We went here while they were doing some renovations, but it did not detract at all! We brought a camper and were easily able to locate and park. The staff were amazing and so helpful checking us in too. The campsite is well shaded and has lots of amenities. They had a camp store, pub, a pool( which we got a lot of use out of), a ghost town themed playground with swings, camp kitchen(with a microwave), games(like horseshoe and giant tetris) plus a sluice. We bought two giant bags of rocks and had so much fun. They also have planned activities during the weekend like icecream social, pancake breakfast, popcorn, and rock painting. The only downside is mosquitos so be sure to bring bug spray and citronella.
