Thank you Craig and Jacqui for a lovely stay. The new bathhouses is going to be great! Nice quiet and relaxing campground with a pub and pizza on the property a nice treat! Beautiful views!

I wish I had known the bathrooms and showers were under construction and would not be open for the length of our stay. Some of the crew were cursing loudly so it wasn't very family friendly. Our cabin and the grounds were cute and clean. Most of the surrounding trails were closed due to the recent fire damage, and the lake was depressingly low, so there wasn't much to do in the area.

Great amenities, fantastic staff. Everyone went above and beyond to ensure that we had a great experience. Loved the themed Gold Rush playhouses and gold panning station. Our family had a great time and can't wait to go back.

Unfortunately when we arrived the bathrooms had been shut down for a couple of days. The water there is not drinkable, too many nitrates??? The Internet provided was sketchy and never worked well. The park was not busy, but the host put us next to another guest. I had specifically asked to be away from others since it wasn't crowded. We had to listen to a jackhammer working on the bathroom floor

Our stay was great. Had great weather, had snow & cold for a few days then back to good weather. Loved it all!!!!! Campground Hosts and employees are friendly and helpful.

I was worried that there might be freezing temperatures at this location so I called and asked before booking. I was assured that it would not be freezing there. Well, it was 28 degrees and my water lines froze.. They said they had WiFi but in the evening their link said it had no internet connection. It did work in the morning and had it worked that way in the evening that would have been ok.

Beautiful clean campground. Love the playground for the kids and the bar for us adults!! Been here a few times and will be back again!

This was our first time up in this area and we loved it. We went off roading in Dove Spring Canyon OHV Trail, had lunch at Kern River Brewery, and hiked around Lake Isabella. The KOA was central to all these attractions. We arrived after hours, the office sent me an email and put registration outside the door. The KOA is not that big, but it has everything you need. definitely going back.

I would state categorically that this is the most comfortable KOA I’ve stayed at to date. I’m not saying it is the most modern or offers a great deal more than others. I am saying the people who run the place are wonderful. It is clean. The showers work and are clean. AND they have a bar serving beer and wings and pizza right adjacent to the office. I would wholeheartedly recommend the Lake Is

Nice people, nice site. Wi-Fi is a little tough to do, but finally worked. Dog place for pottie, trees for shade. Store for essentials.

We just had a really nice time. The place is very clean. Everyone working there was very nice, and helpful. The KOA saloon was open! They served beer and free popcorn. The lady working in the bar was running around like a cocktail waitress and bartender at same time, and probably wasn't getting tipped like one!, so kudos to her. Give her a raise! I didn't catch her name, though.

Folks manning the office were very friendly and helpful. Beautiful surroundings. One suggestion-update the shower head-fine mist imakes it hard to rinse off!

What a little gem. The host was so helpful and kind. Very quiet in the off-season, lots of things for kids to do! Very clean and well maintained. 10 min drive to town. One of our favorite places so far.

Wonderful stay, just wish they would space more. When the campground wasn’t full, they should fill every other site. The people next to us was coughing all the time. Wonderful staff. Looking forward to our next stay.

I haven't tried the rooms but used the RV space. The campsite is clean enough and the camp hosts are very helpful and thoughtful. They put on different entertainment events for the kids (like rock painting and an ice cream social) and the adults alike. There's plenty of shade but also plenty of mosquitos.

We went here while they were doing some renovations, but it did not detract at all! We brought a camper and were easily able to locate and park. The staff were amazing and so helpful checking us in too. The campsite is well shaded and has lots of amenities. They had a camp store, pub, a pool( which we got a lot of use out of), a ghost town themed playground with swings, camp kitchen(with a microwave), games(like horseshoe and giant tetris) plus a sluice. We bought two giant bags of rocks and had so much fun. They also have planned activities during the weekend like icecream social, pancake breakfast, popcorn, and rock painting. The only downside is mosquitos so be sure to bring bug spray and citronella.
