Staff was extremely friendly and accommodating. Grounds were decent not much to do there. But the other campers were awesome and I was very relaxed during my stay.

Clean campground, we have stayed before in the deluxe cabin but this time we got the cabin closer to the splash pad and the bed was really uncomfortable we were ready to come home during the first night. We stayed our whole stay. We spent most our time by the river.

Just a quick over night stop. Small but nice sized spots. Clean. Quiet. Beautiful drive thru the canyon.

The place is a smaller KOA so very intimate. We were a large group of 20 plus and the staff was unbelievable. The sites are clean and trash is taken out on a regular. The pool does need some updating but for our kids it was great. Not a lot of seating so make sure to bring a chair or two. They also have a full bar with a great choice of drinks and again the staff is amazing.

The campground was very run down the dog park was full of dog poop the trees were not trimmed up and were laying on guest trailers the rest rooms were the worst i have ever seen for any campground toilets were not even bolted down it is a safety Hazzard for guest the pool area had no real seating other than a wood bench i have worked for KOA and this location has alot of work do to REPESENT KOA.

the staff was friendly and very nice and helpful. the cabin was clean and in order! However there was no stove or Tv,s in the deluxe cabins and worst of all there is no potable water at this location! i cut my stay here and left the next day and will be calling to get my money back or a credit thank you James P Rush

Bathrooms were being worked on... They always have been and appear to continue to be some of the worst bathroom facilities in the KOA chain. People were nice.

It’s a little away from lake and river, but well worth it. The staff was real nice and friendly. I went there with my family we got 2 spots and a cabin. We had a great time and can’t wait to go back.

Had a nice stay except internet was not that good probably because of the wind. Stephanie was a big help with getting our tv hooked up to my iPhone so we could stream some programs. Thanks for your patience with us older people and our non info on how my phone and smart tv work.

Pretty nice grounds, it is difficult in the area to stay lush and green, but the trees to do seem to need a little care and maintenance. The grounds other than that are quiet nice. Very good destination for a family. The weather was excellent, I recommend calling and checking with the park on current weather conditions. Weather.com had it completely wrong.

Staff were extremely helpful and always pleasant. Gave great sight seeing recommendations for the area as well. The cabin I reserved was very nice and well kept. My entire camping group had a great experience.

Campground was fine, cabin wasn’t that clean. When speaking with office staff about my family’s travels, I was asked: “were there a lot of gay people in Key West?”, which, as member of the queer community, was very off-putting.

DO NOT STAY HERE!The water is not potable, and NO ONE INFORMED US OF THAT WHEN WE CHECKED IN! There is trash everywhere, and old chicken bones that I had to constantly pull out of my doggo's mouth. I never saw one site being cleaned, and I had to pull jagged tent stakes out of our site before I backed in. The pool was green and disgusting. Playground is dangerous-splintered wood & screws stick out

It was a great stay. Our cabin was cozy, and we had our own porch swing. We forgot our cooking stove, so the kampers kitchen was really helpful! We were less than 20 minutes from Miracle Hot Springs and whitewater rafting on the Kern River. Our son had a blast running around the campground Splash pad, too. Pretty view, comfy, clean, affordable. I’d recommend this KOA to families for sure �

Our stay at this campground was ok. Didn’t mention water wasn’t potable prior to check-in, sewer hookup ran uphill, and absolutely no enforcement of quiet hours. Also, refused to rent a cabin for one night (two-night minimum) despite all of them being empty. Such a bummer. Kids loved the playground and the staff was friendly, so all-in an ok stay.

Staff was very courteous. They had free ice cream at certain times. We tented. They say they are strict about quiet time. They are not. The spot we had ended up being between two camp sites full of parting individuals. The music ended at 10:45pm and the load talking using bad language didn't end until after midnight. Their camp lights were on all night. The mens room was terrible, dirty, etc....

Probably one of the friendliest and most engaged owners of all the KOAs I have been too. This KOA is quiet and quaint. He suggested a good site for us and moved us to a better one without us asking if we could have it, was super friendly every time I came into the store for something, and topped off our propane for us. If you like miles & miles of dirt, sand & dust around you then this is the place for you. There’s nothing to do. There’s a very green pool & a muddied attached jacuzzi. There’s others campers trash flying around. People here like to ride their ATV’s (which is great & I wish I had one) which creates even MORE dust & sand storms. They had Pancake Sunday which was cool, the dog park is nice

The campground has a good layout and the accommodations (store, pool, etc.) are good, but the location on Rt 178 is not great. There is no convenient access to the lake or river. Additionally, the camp ground dump station is out of order, which made check out from a non-dump spot difficult, They up charged me for the entire stay to use a station at a full service site.

Stay was just ok, only one unisex bathroom, and large group loud parting all night long. No enforcement of quiet hours. Not the KOA’s fault but the wind never stops blowing dust

Great experience and service and location! Only “complaint” is that I called many times and wasn’t able to reach anyone and didn’t receive a call back for a few hours but overall I would stay with them again in a heartbeat

I haven't tried the rooms but used the RV space. The campsite is clean enough and the camp hosts are very helpful and thoughtful. They put on different entertainment events for the kids (like rock painting and an ice cream social) and the adults alike. There's plenty of shade but also plenty of mosquitos.

We went here while they were doing some renovations, but it did not detract at all! We brought a camper and were easily able to locate and park. The staff were amazing and so helpful checking us in too. The campsite is well shaded and has lots of amenities. They had a camp store, pub, a pool( which we got a lot of use out of), a ghost town themed playground with swings, camp kitchen(with a microwave), games(like horseshoe and giant tetris) plus a sluice. We bought two giant bags of rocks and had so much fun. They also have planned activities during the weekend like icecream social, pancake breakfast, popcorn, and rock painting. The only downside is mosquitos so be sure to bring bug spray and citronella.
