We love this koa, the location is perfect and the people are suuuper nice. I wont give it a 5 because we did see some weird activity at night of cars coming in to the parking lot and just pulling into one of the rv spots, running their car with headlights on (pointong toward our cabin) for 10 minutes , then leaving. Kinda spooked us. another night a loud old truck came in around 10pm, not campers!

Of all the options in the area, KOA had all the amenities we needed. My only critique is that the area I camped was infested with black widows all along the wall where the electrical outlets were. I didn't see them till night time. Spider, roaches, and water bugs were EVERYWHERE at night. You may want to have the area treated. If it weren't for the insect problem, I would give you 5 stars all day.

The only acceptable item(if you can accept the nitrate issue) is the pool. The rest of the place needs a high degree of investment to bring it up to acceptable standards. The men's bathroom tiling will fail from poor workmanship.

The camp ground is kept clean. Trees in every site. No Grass. Pool looks nice. I would recommend upgrading your dog park. The benches are kind of yucky. I would also say put a tree in the middle. It is very hot! The only reason we would not go back is there are no 50 amp sites so we were unable to use both air conditioners and it was terribly hot!

The mens room needs to be completed. I would be embarrassed if that was my campground for how bad it looked. The staff were very helpful and accommodating. I will recommend coming here but the facilities need work.

We had a great stay, there was much shade at our tent site, which is good! The bathrooms were being renovaties, but that caused no trouble.

No drinking water on hook up due to high nitrate levels. Facilities felt under construction but clean. Nice pool though.

the only negative thing that I experienced was guests in the pool area using a P.A. and blasting music that was heard all over the campground from about 6 pm till about 9 pm. on one night only. other than that, we loved the place. the staff was exceptional, very friendly and helpful. we will be back.

Its a nice place, need to finish remodel put in temp showers and add manpower. I understand the challenges of operation but please don't use this to lower standards. good people working there.

Terrible stay: this campground is infested with cochrages. The run on the floor of the open kitchen as soon as night comes, and were also in our cabin all night long. We had NO SLEEP because of that. A horrible experience.

What a dump. 5 miles from the lake. No drinkable water, washrooms are filthy and look like they belong in a crackhouse. No security to ensure quiet time is observed. Which means that large family party that finished at 3am kept the whole campground awake. Absolutely last resort although you might be better at that abandoned gas station 15 mins down the road. Disgusted.

Unfortunately the dumping station was closed. There was no other option then to pay extra. Other than this we enjoyed the pool and the nice kampsight!

We had a great time, the 2 ladies working at KOA were great. We enjoyed the pool, ice cream, and pancakes. My son love the playground, we played horseshoes. Only negative was the campsite next to us had a dog and was barking the whole time and someone came in afterhours and woke up the whole camp ground. Those are annoying things that others should be considered at. Thank you for the stay.

We stayed in a cabin. It was charming. Swan in the pool, played basketball and had a campfire in the rain. The staff was very helpful.

The campground was very nice and well kept. The staff was very friendly. This was our maiden voyage in our RV and we forgot a couple of necessities. The staff was more than willing to help us and made us feel very comfortable about asking for help. We will definitely be returning.

This campground is smaller from the other KOA that we’ve stayed at, but is surrounded with beautiful nature and amazing sunrise/sunset. The campers were respective of the quiet time & overall a nice stay. Thank you!

The staff were friendly, helpful and kind! I loved our little cabin. Super cute and clean! It’s great that there’s a swimming pool for people to enjoy! Plus the pancake breakfast on Sunday’s. I just wish campers weren’t so sloppy and messy…and would clean up after themselves. The workers do their best to keep the place kept up, but they’re outnumbered but the mess-maker campers! TY KOA

Tent site was spacious and shaded. Office/store/restaurant were nice with friendly staff and good food. Bathrooms were under renovations and should have been done in a staggered fashion in order to minimize disruptions but it made it uncomfortable to use.

Facilities were clean as always! Disappointed we were told to get out of the pool a few minutes before 8pm because it was closed despite the check-in material saying the pool closes at 9pm.

2 day stay / I loved the trees covering most of the sites for shade/ only need to make 1 comment / wish that there were 4 washer & 4 dryers instead of 3 of each

The staff was amazing! We do suggest some upgrades in the showers faucets. And 2 locks broken. I think the bathrooms should be checked more often for necessities. The pool was nice to cool off in but needed some cleaning. Hair floating and cloudy. The trash cans next to cabins were great but needed to be emptied more than once since we were sharing the can w/others Staff was great very friendly!

Staff is very nice! Billing system for the store tied to the card on file to the site is a completely practical but nonetheless nice surprise. I’m new to koa (obviously!). If staff hospitality, facilities and system are remotely in the same ballpark across the system (ie my wife is comfortable) I’m in!

I hesitate to give a one-star just because of the female staff working in the store were wonderful, friendly. However, the entire place is overrun by huge cockroaches. In addition, there are mice inside the cabins. My family and I were very concerned that we were going to bring cockroaches back home. We had to go through every item before we packed it up and once again at home.

The kabin was clean and cool. The pool was great. The hosts are very friendly and made our large family reunion a great success. We loved ice cream social and pancake breakfast as well as pizza for dinner.

We had our Family Reunion at the KOA It was hot!!!!! Pool was wonderful. Splash pad was fun for the littles. Pancake breakfast was much appreciated. Huge thank you to managers, Jacque & Craig who were really wonderful. Jacque made the craft morning so much fun!!!!!! Thank you, Thank you, Thank you!!!!!!

This place is beautiful to camp at. We woke up right next to the mountains. Everyone respects the noise level and showers are hot. They have a shop there for most camping needs, and the lake is super close !

Great camping, super friendly staff. Conveniently located to Kernville and Rivers End Rafting. Nice pool, good shady rv spots.
