Rustic camping cabins need a lot of work. Dirty. Trash in cabin at check in. 1st cabin had heavy smokers in it. Needed a second cabin assignment. This one hadn't been cleaned in a long time. Best thing was it had a fridge and microwave. Ladies restroom outside light out. Restrooms are old and need some atrention. Sorry won't recommend a stay here.

I had a recent stay at KOA cabins in Lake Bomoseen, and while we encountered a few initial issues, we has a great experience. The owners of KOA cabins are incredibly nice and accommodating. They resolved the issues we faced and were very friendly and willingness to assist. And most of all, the location of KOA cabins is simply stunning!

The front facility closes very early. There is little to do on site when compared to other KOA's I've stayed. Unfortunately, there was no firepit, but a wood BBQ.

Really enjoyed our time at the lake. The staff is kind and very helpful. This is now my second time this year and it was really enjoyable.

Had a difficult time unlocking the door.. Inside doors stuck. The bed was very uncomfortable and the WiFi did not work well.since it did rain during our stay we watched tv,the tv was different from the remote which didn't work. The hosts were extremely nice.

I had a death in my family 3 days before the end of our stay. The funeral is 700 miles away and I was refused a refund for the last 3 days. I am not happy with inconsiderate people and places. Some consideration for other people’s personal lives would be nice. We’re not all millionaires and I really needed that money back to travel 700 miles with my two kids. I won’t be returning

It was a fun adventure and relaxing camp, staff super nice. disappointed that it lacked the fun activities, rental bikes, rental golf carts, etc. It had an arcade but 90% of machines did not work and KOA did not own them so nothing they could do. The putt putt was extra money and very much lacking. I am a KOA fan for all the extras, this unfortunately was just way under expectations.

it could be nice, if the pool was clean, and the arcade was so stinky and had visible mouse nests and there was even mouse poop in the crane game that had candy!!! the candy had poop all over it and was all chewed up. the showers were also not clean, lots of big clumps of hair. we liked the cabin but had to clean the ceiling fan, there was about an inch thick layer of dust.

It's a very beautiful location. We stayed for 2 nights, and our almost two-year-old son used the splash pad once we arrived then the next day it was not working. We were going to go into the pool, but it was a bit discolored and when we got closer there were many things in the pool such as wrappers, Band-Aids, and so on. I know a lot of children use it, but it definitely was disappointing.

It's a good place, clean bathrooms/showers for a campground. It was quiet during quiet hours. Nice pool (small) and playground. Have to go to a public beach to swim in the lake. Arcade was not good, they need a new vendor. Store closes early and ran out of staples.

All aspects of the delux cabin were great. With the exception of the mattress in the main bedroom. Very uncomfortable, and needs replacement!

I like this park overall but we rented a deluxe cabin and the bed and pull-out couch are so old and worn out. They were extremely uncomfortable. I would like to see them updated. It would be nice to have a full set of dishes ( knives, forks, spoons) in the cabin as well. These cabins are expensive and I think the beds should be in better shape for the amount I paid. Friendly workers-so nice.

The staff was friendly. Additional deposit fees should have been clearer in confirmation email, took me by surprise. Cabin was two rooms, but very small. Daughter tried to buy a flashlight, but none worked. Boat launch size did not resemble website map, nor did pool size. Bathrooms smelled clean, no soap in the dispenser for 2 days. Arcade tickets redemption machine broken. Mini golf cost extra.

Booked for the lake and was extremely disappointed to find that the frontage was only a boat launch, with no lake swimming access. The pool was also very small.

We loved our stay at KOA.We go every year and it’s always so pleasant! The staff were super nice and helpful. I do wish the arcade was working better. Loved the older games but only a few worked. Also wish the mini golf was upgraded. That’s only for the rainy days. But the kids loved riding their bikes, swimming and making new friends! Love camping here and can’t wait for next time :)

I did not like having to give $50 cash on check-in. I didn’t even get a receipt. Charging a credit card for damages would make more sense. Our cabin had belongings from a previous guest left behind, and an inch of dust on the ceiling fan, so it wasn’t cleaned well. we rented a cabin and every time you turned on the hot water the entire place smelled like rotten eggs, it was horrible. they were good enough to give us back the price for 1 night

We were not aware they were closing for the season on Monday the day we were to check out. They made it very apparent they wanted to get out of there. We paid a lot of money to stay the weekend but we’re woken up by a leaf blower at 8 am around our site (for no reason) & they shut everything down including arcade when my kids wanted to go in. We paid until check out. We felt rushed and unwelcome

The whole property seemed run down and in need of sprucing up, The water smelled so bad my wife refused to shower with it. We had to buy bottled water for drinking. We rented a "deluxe" cabin but it was anything but deluxe. It was not what I was expecting from a KOA campground.

We stayed in a basic cabin and found at there was no heater in the cabin. In the office they told us that heaters are not basic, while the basic cabin has a tv, refrigirator and microwave, in my opinion also not really basic. We stayed in many KOA basic cabins and everywhere there is a heater/AC. Restrooms could use some updating. I am glad this was only for 1 night, will not go back.

My second stay at Lake Bomosee KOA in a cabin by the boat dock. Very pleasant location and scenery for the fall time of year. Great place and Great Staff .. and Larry who fixed the heating system for us. We are now official KOA Kabin Kampers. We also enjoyed the Salmon Falls KOA Kabin in Lebanon Maine.

The facilities and campgrounds are beautiful and well maintained. Neighbors were quiet and respectful. The area is beautiful as well with many excursion options in the surrounding areas. My only complaint is how compact the sites are and their close proximity to one another, but you can only do what you can with the land you have :) overall it was an incredibly pleasant stay!!! Thank you

It was not family friendly. The couple running the store were nice, however everyone else was not friendly. I took my sister twice to the ice cream shop and both twice where told the shop was close. Meanwhile it was 630 and the stored closes at seven. Not friendly atmosphere around the campsite.

Electric went out in the early morning. We had food in the fridge. The laundry is 24 hours but if you wanna rent a bust and use it for sunset ( return by dusk) that isn’t an option. The pool is small, lots of broken games in the arcade. The grounds were clean and most staff were friendly. Free Hot showers a plus!

As a first time Kabin Kamper Lake Bomoseen KOA was a good place to start. Cabin was located close to the lakeshore and boat ramp. We used this campgriund as a base while toured the Shelburne Museum and other Vermont sites. ... What a great staff. We will return.

This is a wonderful campground. The staff was extremely friendly in checking us in. We stayed here years ago before they were a KOA Campground. Well groomed campsites, and even while we were here and it was fall they were still blowing leaves to keep the sites clean as well as every fireplace cleaned out. Where big believers in carry in carry out and we couldn't find one drop of garbage scattered anywhere. We had a family emergency and had to leave a day earlier and the owners were kind to us and did the right thing. We will definitely be back there for the summer 2024 season, and would highly recommend you give them a try. You'll be happily surprised.
