We have been going to Lake Bomoseen KOA for about ten years— we love it! Disappointed that I’ve cream wasn’t open much and poor quality— it’s a tradition!

I would most definitely recommend this KOA to friends but did find a few problems with this cabin. 1) It's listed as a three bedroom- - two of those rooms are smaller than closets with bunks that are very impractical. 2) It's listed a being able to sleep 8: 2 each in the bunk rooms, 2 in the "master" room and 2 on the pull out sofa- - you can't pull the sofa out unless you block a bunk room.

The grounds are beautifully kept, and the staff was very kind, but we will not return. Two big issues: no swimming access to the lake (not made clear on the website), and the "deluxe cabin" was not a cabin. The description should read "single-wide trailer". In #73, the screen door is missing a section which made it useless. On the sliding glass door, there is no screen door at all.

We’ve stayed at plenty of KOA’s in the New England area over the years and this is one of the most run down. Bathrooms are outdated, the sites are on top of each other and a $50 cash safety deposit was required when we checked in. The front desk staff was rude when I said I didn’t have cash and asked to leave a credit card number as deposit because that wasn’t posted on the website.

Our cabin was nice and worked well for us. The lake and mountains are beautiful! We enjoyed the water slide and pool, had fun mini golfing, loved mining, and enjoyed ice cream. We were disappointed (and surprised) that the splash pad and mini theater were not available during our stay and lost money multiple times at the arcade. The counters needed extra cleaning in our cabin.

Several people complained about wifi services, they should explain beforehand or purchase a booster for the site. No garbage pick up at sites, and the dumpster was almost impossible to get to. The cleanliness had a lot to be desired and employees seemed to be just going thru the motions. We left early, as it was our first time camping with our dog and he was a mess, no refund.

We had a blast at Lake Bomoseen KOA! One of our favorite places to go to from now on. Friendly staff and campers, clean and well maintained campground with great view to the lake. We stayed in two cabins and enjoyed the serenity of the forest. Kids loved riding their bikes around and sliding into the pool. Will be back!

Compared to previous stays this was dissappointing. Rec hall was run down . Lots of games but none worked properly...large pool was gone, replaced with a pool for a small household. Not enough swim space and no supervision what so ever. Kids jumping off the top of the slide, people smoking in the pool area. I would not stay at this koa again. This was my favorite koa by far, not anymore.

Everyone was very friendly. The facility was clean, to include the restrooms. Checkout times were great so you didn’t have to rush to pack up. We will definitely stay again.

The cabin was great! The atmosphere is wonderful. I felt comfortable just letting my kids ride their bikes around without any issue. The staff was great as well. The pool was way to small for the amount of people there and they shut it down to shock it the last full day there. The weeds by the docks to get your boats it and out are horrible. These are the only reason for the 3 stars.

It would have been nice to know that the AC was not working and there was only a window unit in the living room/kitchen. Found out after trying to turn it on the oven did not work. Toilet stopped up on us. We were charged full amount for a cabin that did not live up to their website account. The staff was very nice.

My cabin was stinky , hot water in my cabin was smell like rotten eggs. Caterpillar all over the place in my bedrooms and living area . This is worst camping I ever had .

It was outdated, arcade smelt moldly and would steal kids money. Management didn't care The pool was not only small but unsafe. The depth wasn't clearly labeled and many kids fell off of a ledge into much deeper water because it wasn't clear. There were too many kids with no max stated. Splash pad didn't work Not sure if cabin 75 loft stairs are upto code

Our cabin wasn't super clean. There were cobwebs everywhere inside and out and the outside was infested with baby inch worms that we combatted all weekend several times a day so we could even walk in and out of the cabin

We enjoyed a long weekend in one of their cabins. The campground, facilities, and bathrooms were very clean. The staff was friendly and attentive. This was a great spot!

We stayed in cabin 2 and were there with a group of friends in rv and cabin sites. It was perfect for our group as the kids could all play together and we were all close. The campground was lovely! The cabin and bathrooms were SO CLEAN. THANK YOU. Cabins with a minifridge, electricity were fantastic. The kids loved the playground, camp store and arcade. It was close to a lot & SO CLEAN & FRIENDLY!

Overall is is a very nice place to stay with friendly people. My only recommendation is to have more consistent communication when someone has questions when booking. I was give different information 3 times between booking and my arrival for the cost and deposit for my dogs. Otherwise it was a great trip for myself and my friends.

Staff friendly and efficient and cabin clean and as advertised BUT: refrigerator missing door handle, no toaster, no kettle, fry pan burnt and not usable, lid to pot wrong size, no drinking glasses, minimal number utensils, no extra trash bags. For these reasons I can't recommend this KOA, plus the grounds were shabby.

There are beautiful sites in this park. Rest rooms are clean. The staff is not friendly. This is the second time we’ve stayed here and will be the last. Most KOAs, and we stay at a lot, are represented by friendly staff…not here.

The cabin was not super clean, my daughter found pop tart and cookie pieces under her mattresses. There was mild in the bathroom and one of the bedrooms and we were short4d on linens after paying for the service. When we asked at the office about the linens we were told it would be an extra fee for anything else even though we didn't get everything. We were also told it would be looked into and...

It was a good stay however the heat was very difficult to endure by the last day. The cabins were nice but I should have upgraded to air conditioning The second pool would have been a great add if it was done. Overall the place is nice and would have been a real great stay had it been cooler

Despite thursday's deluge (8/19/21) we had a great time, the camping cabin was clean and tidy, (as well as the rest of the camp) we were extremely surprised that our cabin had a flat screen TV w/sattelite, microwave and small fridge, a concern, not a complaint was the pool was tiny, great for kids though

Great campground that is very family friendly. The staff was very nice and helpful. The location is great for day trips all around Vermont or parts of New York. We really enjoyed our stay.

This is a wonderful campground. The staff was extremely friendly in checking us in. We stayed here years ago before they were a KOA Campground. Well groomed campsites, and even while we were here and it was fall they were still blowing leaves to keep the sites clean as well as every fireplace cleaned out. Where big believers in carry in carry out and we couldn't find one drop of garbage scattered anywhere. We had a family emergency and had to leave a day earlier and the owners were kind to us and did the right thing. We will definitely be back there for the summer 2024 season, and would highly recommend you give them a try. You'll be happily surprised.
